I do understand that some of you are unhappy about only Maddie being featured in the dance and in the interviews.
BUT you have to understand one thing: It is very obvious that they wanted Maddie, particularly since both songs danced to were by Sia. Australia is Sia's home, she is really famous there and Maddie also. If it wasn't for Maddie, none of the other girls would have even had the opportunity to dance there in the first place! So there is nothing to be sad about. They still got to perform! Are they supposed to be front and centre when it's clear that this was Maddie's opportunity? They're getting opportunities BECAUSE OF MADDIE, not despite her. If they wanted all of them, they would have done interviews etc with all of the girls, not just with Maddie. That's life, she is far more famous than Dance Moms now, and it's understandable that they are going to interview the most famous one, they don't have a lot of time to do the interviews, there are other celebrities as well, so they are going to focus on the one they want to, and this is Maddie. It doesn't take away from the other girls, they got a great opportunity because of her and should be thankful and I'm sure they are because they are all lovely talented girls.
Well put. Apparently people would rather complain that the girls got to walk the red carpet and perform at the Astra awards supporting Maddie, rather then Maddie performing alone. I don't think any of the girls are put out that they aren't front and center. Correct me if I'm wrong, but I don't think the girls (other then Maddie) have ever performed in these kind of award shows. It's a great opportunity for all of them. Let them enjoy it.
ღ Aurora ღ It is not often Abby gets near the red carpet, if Maddie is with Sia. And that interview actually asserted Maddie's increasing independence from Abby. And Abby does not look that happy with Maddie taking the limelight and the fact that is was Maddie that they really wanted to talk too.
They actually all look uncomfortable through the all thing, Maddie must be tired of repeating the exact same story about how Sia contacted her, she is so mature and professional. All dancers on the show are good but Maddie is the most charismatic,however I definitely feel that jojo and Kendal will have a long lasting career in he entertainment/dance industry whether they get famous or not.
I dont think the girls rlly appreciate Abby calling their moms crazy...

People need to understand the ALDC is there because of MADISON NICOLE ZIEGLER so of course there going to interview there invited guest.Plus the other girls view this as a positive opportunity they get to perform in front of other celebrities which it would NEVER happen if it wasnt for MADDIE.And I bet Maddie is glad that her teammate/best friends are with her supporting her.

All this talk about fairness and equality is naive. Life ain't "fair". Only one of these girls was literally "born a star". And that star is Maddie. It is what it is. In 10 years Maddie will be a well established star and the rest of these girls will sink back into normal life (just like Chloe, Paige, and Brooke). The new girl Brynn also some "star" power. Keep your eye on her.

Havent heard of any of them, oh wait... I heard about one "Fool me once", wich is really interesting that the singer wanted and ASKED Maddie to be in the music video before Chloe, I just think the singer couldnt afford Maddie :( and as always had to go with Chloe, she was the only one who replied, not even Kendall did, so, that's pretty sad.
Yeah, she still hasn’t hit it big aside from Sia. Can’t act to save her life, which is why none of her movies are ever shown nationwide in theaters. Sia can’t make movies, and Music proves it. All of her movies were streamed directly.
Brynn has done nothing and Nia and Kenzie are still doing things in the industry

love maddie and her dancing. in this episode on tv, you see how she cares about her friends. my problem is when melissa looks at holly and jessalyn and blankly tells them not to come the next day, because abby only invited kalani, maddie, kendall and mackenzie to her events.

of course they focused mostly on maddie!!! this was clearly meant to be an opportunity ONLY for maddie; abby and the other girls were just along for the ride. that's why on the red carpet, photographers wanted photos just of MADDIE alone. that's why the light was on her during their performance. the astra awards literally just wanted maddie but of course abby brought herself and the other girls to leech off of maddie's fame.
why are you turning a great opportunity for all of them to a fame craving bunch of people they came to support maddie AND perform with her so stop making everything into a negative point of view smfh probably a maddie stan.

Everybody praises Maddie but if it weren't for the show and Maddies backstabbing of the girls she wouldn't be anywhere. Abby used the other girls to make Maddie a star. The girls worked hard and only Maddie was given opportunities. People made the show popular because of all the girls not just Maddie.I believe in Karma God is not dead
In that case the "karma" would be towards Abby not Maddie... Maddie puts a lot of hard work in her dancing and it is finally paying off.
Tinge Love Maddie still works hard I think she deservers everything she gets shes the most popular or gets the most prasied because in my oppinon she's the most tattltend. However of course I love the other girls I actually like Chloe more than I do do Maddie because sometimes Maddie is mean but if anyone deserves karma its Abby and Mellesia Maddie did nothing wrong. I love the girls have been there but in my opinion the cameraman was not really good, is normal to zoom to one specific person when she´s talking but generally you must have a general view and they cut half of the team in the whole clip.

It's a mind control mechanism to get the girl to only say the things she's supposed to say.....but it's so subtle that you would only think she is being "affectionate" ... what they do is associate Maddie's memory with certain touches. This sort of thing goes on a lot in Hollywood and they like to start it when the subject is young. It's quite sad.
Olivia Kasparian Actually it is creepy and she admitted that she over-rules the parents and has no respect for them. With that movement she did two things, she reminded the others that Maddie it the favourite and she reminded Maddie that she was watching her, and she was in control of her.

Did the girls perform at this event, or were they just promoting their tours? And it was a bit of a shame that we barely saw Kalani, Gia, or Jojo since they were on the ends of the shot. Even if the focus is on Abby and Maddie, a wide shot of everyone would've been nice.

All the girls could perform and everything, so everyone other than Maddie can have opportunities, and then when they're interviewing the girls, they shouldn't just talk about Maddie. Then, when they want to interview Maddie, don't let the other girls tag along to make them feel uncomfortable... I mean Maddie was meant to go in the first place, and I absolutely adore the other girls, but they shouldn't have made this an awk situation for the other girls.
