Possibly but I don't think Ubiquiti intentionally made it for that. have you ever opened a support ticket with them?🤦♂️🤣 You're better off in the forums most of the time. I've also never seen it in their instructions and most people Just consider it part of the packaging and take it right off and throw it away. But I know better because my hands will get dirty drilling holes and mounting brackets. And the less trips I have to take up and down the ladder. When installing stuff the better.

@kylezimmerman6245 Installers do wash their hands, but it's more time efficient for an installer to wash their hands once, then install a dozen+ access points like this. Washing your hands before each placement across a warehouse or large office and going up and down a ladder each time would easily increase the installation costs over by an hour costing $150+ depending on the installation size. But if it were 1 AP, sure it's ~5 mins of extra time to walk across a warehouse/office to wash your hands a single time. But then again I guess one could just wear disposable gloves and change them each time as that would be more cost effective as the changing would cost less than $1 each time. 🤔 But then again once could just do what I showed in this video saving on the gloves. 🤓🤯
Use a Sharpie and write the install location / instructions on the Cover - if you have someone helping ;-)
@jay kastner I agree when there's more than 1 AP. Also put the end of the MAC address so you know where to rename it in your dashboard.

@MarioPeezy if you take the cover off before installing you'll get fingerprints all over the access point when you mount it on the ceiling.
@Private Girl it's the Ubiquiti U6-LR. What access point do you currently have?
