I don't know any other UA-cam channel that would've made a video like this, thank you Curated for bringing this -almost- unbelievably amazing content to car lovers everywhere!!!
John Temerian will go down in history as the person who reinvigorated the interest in the Viola SE30. I remember, years ago, no one cared about them (even at a local C&C, I saw one parked in the visitor parking lot, completely ignored). Everyone used to dream about the SV, possibly because it was so prominently featured in video games, but the SE30 truly is the best Diablo variant of all time and thanks to John, people are starting to appreciate that* *and my dreams of owning one decrease by the minute as the prices keep going up.
Yeah I agree, SE30 (150units) is the best Diablo other than the exclusive GT (80units). The SV was featured more in Need For Speed video games so maybe it gained popularity that way 👍
I had a subscription to Motor Trend when I was 14 in 1990. The red Diablo on the cover of that year was the first time a saw a Diablo. I still remember that.
Always appreciate the opportunity to learn more and new things about cars.Seeing the passion and love for these automobiles is why this is one of my favorites
Diablo is my favorite and most beautiful car ever. 1st place is Diablo VT red with pop up head lights and 2nd is Diablo SE 30 jota purple. I don't like so much Diablo without pop up headlights, it's just look to normal. Btw, there is also roadster VT with pop up headlights.
It's such a beautiful showroom! The Diablo is one of my childhood heroes; I called it my favourite car for a long long time. The SE30 was the coolest chapter of Diablo story in my opinion with the Jota really taking the dream to another level... and I'd have it in that signature light purple colour.
Alpine Audio brought their red Lamborghini Diablo to my hometown in eastern Canada back in 1991 when I was 17. It was love at first sight! I could watch this content all day long! Keep up the good work.
Wow, fantastic video! Thank you John. Last week I drove from England to both Lamborghini museums in Italy so perfect timing to watch this now. (Family museum is sooo much better!)
This is an amazing video that will hopefully get long-term views as there's nothing like it online. Thanks for making it, John and team. The video got me excited enough about Diablos for me to pull the trigger on getting 1:18 models of the SE30 and the SE30 Jota I had my eyes on since the late 1990s.
Man, I'm french so sorry for the faults, your videos are so amazing and interesting so thanks and I wish you the best for the future and 2023. Thibault W.
As a child I wanted to design exotic super cars, until the Diablo came out. I saw it as design perfection and still just love that design today- without the wing thank you.
This man is just an encyclopedia! Cool to know that his family and car roots come from right down the street from me (Springfield, Ma). Keep up the awesome work! One of these days I’ll get to visit the shop down there in Miami!
I see that pearl purple Diablo SE30, and I hear "she's just a cosmic girl from another galaxy, my hearts in zero gravity"....... Can't believe no one has mentioned Jamiroquai's "Cosmic Girl", the purple SE30 Diablo featured prominently in that video!
Dope Video.. You really school people on the ins and outs of Lamborghini Diablos. Thank you. I'm down for an extended version Nerd all the way out... I'll watch.
Such nostalgia. Was lucky enough to have a dad that would take me to the local Lambo dealer regularly as a kid. First new Lamborghini I saw was a 25th anniversary then there was the 2wd diablos then the vt’s, sv’s, roadsters but there was always just one new car in the showroom. Then in late 2000 when the Diablo 6.0 came out they had 5 new ones in their showroom at once, all different colours; orange, yellow, black, blue and silver. Definitely don’t get that same feeling walking into a modern lambo dealer.
Only just started but if the GT1 Stradale isn’t mentioned, I’m going to be eternally sad. Also as far as I’m aware, there were 6 SV Roadsters. Met an owner of one in the UK, even has a GT front hood.
Had to stop the video when going over the VT Roadster, can we get a video walkthrough of the Spyker C8 that was out front? Even if it's just a quick walk around with some detail shots would be awesome!!!
Wait... do I spy 3 of the Viola SE30's in one place? WOW. I'll never forget the first Diablo I saw as a kid in London, was the same silver as that roadster, I never knew cars could be so low and special.
Could you also do a model year and version guide of the Muira, Countach, Gallardo and Murcielago? Also the LM, Espada and what happened to the Portofino and Cala Concept car why it never made into production?
Hi I really like your videos on Diablo, especially when you comparing all the different models. I just have one question, do you think the 6.0 will be a better daily car compare to the 95 VT?
John I’m surprised you didn’t mention the GTR at all. A gentleman here in my town has a white one. I’ve never seen it in person but he’s always all over IG posting pictures of his car at Daikoku Futo and Tatsumi PA. There are so many rare exotics here in Japan it’s crazy
Nice summary, John. Would have been great if US spec SV's got the alcantara interiors. But fortunately we did get the carbon fiber trim unlike the plastic/composite for the RoW cars. I think VVT was also only on 98-99 SV's.
I really enjoy hearing everything you have to say about the cars, but I wish your video filmer would actually film the car in high detail more, rather than hold focus on you talking. Thank you!
You guys really need to figure out your audio for these videos. A lav mic would go a long way to help prevent your voice going from a mouse whisper to yelling multiple times in one sentence as you move around the shop.
I don't know any other UA-cam channel that would've made a video like this, thank you Curated for bringing this -almost- unbelievably amazing content to car lovers everywhere!!!

Need for speed immortalised the SV. The Viola SE30 or that silver roadster would be my grail.
Nah... the Diablo GT is WAY better than the SE30
I have to agree, the Purple Metallic SE30 has always been my dream car, and the prices are going insane!
Because of the original Need for Speed video game (94') I've always been in love with the Diablo VT (Vicious Traction)
I had a subscription to Motor Trend when I was 14 in 1990. The red Diablo on the cover of that year was the first time a saw a Diablo. I still remember that.
Yup for 1990 that design must have been something else!!!
It sad little attention the Diablo gets nowadays overall. Its such a special car
Dang, that orange GT is so cool
Great memory rattling off all of those details. Excellent video!
For me the diablo gt is drop dead gorgeous and the best car of all time.
Dude Is a hands on guy… touching and tapping these expensive cars like it’s just a plain Honda or something.. damn.
Always appreciate the opportunity to learn more and new things about cars.Seeing the passion and love for these automobiles is why this is one of my favorites
There is absolutely no greater joy in life than listening to someone geek out about something they are knowledgable and passionate about!
definitely an iconic car. for any 90s babies like myself that was what you thought of when someone mentioned "sports car"

Is anyone as passionate about these cars as much as John?! A wealth of knowledge.
I found your channel and love just the content, passion and history behind these Lamborghinis!
It's such a beautiful showroom!

Man I can't ever get enough Curated videos always so damn cool .
Thanks for showing all the variants of an amazing car!
Thanks John for putting that Grin back on for me . Remember everyone of them (new). Nicely done, thank you looking forward for your next video
I'm saddened that you didn't mention that the fixed headlight diablos actually used Nissan 300zx xenon headlights. Interesting piece of history there
Every time I see that showroom my jaw drops. Full of my absolute dream cars.
The cars of my dreams. It's so cool to see someone who love those and such an insane line-up.
GREAT Diablo Review...!!! Thanks..!!
The first Diablo I ever saw in a magazine was in that purple color and it's just gorgeous. I love the Diablo.

Early Diablo's are totally my fav. Something about it being raw, fast and sorta not the best Diablo just seems right to me?
Great video, thanks !!
My all-time dream car 😍, awesome video JT, thank you 🙏🏻
Thank you very much! My all time favorite car! I could listen to you all day!
John is clearly extremely knowledgeable regarding 90's Lamborghinis. These cars are all amazing!
Thai videos should last 20 minutes more !!
You are a great story taller and you know your Diablos !
Or maje a part two!! 🙏🙏🙏
Definitely need a part 2 because he miss telling about the Diablo MOMO version, GT2 and last hurrah : mighty Diablo GTR..
Awesome john. Thank you.
This is an amazing video that will hopefully get long-term views as there's nothing like it online. Thanks for making it, John and team. Awesome overview! 👍🏻👍🏻

Thanks for this video, all masterpieces, diablo’s are my favorite lambos for sure
@ 16:19 the shift knob is so cool
I would be happy with the first generation because of how raw and dangerous they are. These cars are by far my favorites to film.
Yess with the F355GTS and F40. So cool!!
@@jdsk8914 that's the one! Great track too!
John T is an encyclopedia of knowledge about supercars! 🙂👍
I find it interesting that a few years of the Diablo had actual 300zx headlights.
Another wonderful video! Thank you for sharing your wisdom and passion for such an amazing machine.
Dope Video.. You really school people on the ins and outs of Lamborghini Diablos. Thank you. I'm down for an extended version Nerd all the way out... I'll watch.
Damn I wish this video was longer
Great run down thank you John! The Diablo is my “poster” car so cool to learn about this historic piece of automotive history!
Diablo SV has been my favorite of the 2 Lamborghini experiences I’ve had….granted the other was just a gallardo 🤣
It was Monterey edition number 20
Such nostalgia. Was lucky enough to have a dad that would take me to the local Lambo dealer regularly as a kid. That was fantastic, thanks professor Temerian!
Very cool.. you have all the diablos to do the CURATED DIABLO CALENDAR 😇
Curated Calendars are a Great IDEA!!!!
The Diablo SV, aventador Sv, murciélago Sv are my favorites the Sv models are better than SVJ models in my opinion which is not really important.
The "Diablo SE30" will always be the most beautiful and most gorgeous purple colored Lamborghini of all time! 💜
Loved every second of this! Could you also make an episode about the homologation special Diablo GT1 Stradale?
Best car ever made ❤️
Which one?
@@dauntae24 they're all brilliant
@@stephenw5628 so you’re speaking about the brand as a whole? Even in the VW era?
@@dauntae24 the diablo
@@stephenw5628 ummmm … ok
I now, love and appreciate diablos more, and I want one lol Thankyou for this video, and your content!!
Only just started but if the GT1 Stradale isn’t mentioned, I’m going to be eternally sad.
Also as far as I’m aware, there were 6 SV Roadsters. Met an owner of one in the UK, even has a GT front hood.
I still absolutely love the Diablo!!!
I had a 1:18 scale model of the SE30 Jota
Childhood Dream Car .. epic linup
Made it easier to understand, thank you
Absolutely loved this video!! 💯
Thank you!!
DUDE!!! IM TRIPPIN ON THOSE COUNTACH AND F40 MURCIELAGO COLLECTION 😳😳😳😳
Is it true the open headlights on the Diablo were from the Nissan 300ZX of the time?
Yes if you peel back the carbon fiber strip covering the top it says Nissan on them
Had to stop the video when going over the VT Roadster, can we get a video walkthrough of the Spyker C8 that was out front? Even if it's just a quick walk around with some detail shots would be awesome!!!
A lot of people don't know about the Lamborghini Diablo 99-01 use Nissan 300zx headlights..lol😂😂
Thanks for the video, good to see those sweet Lambos, nice to see you too 😁
Wait... do I spy 3 of the Viola SE30's in one place? WOW.

Hi I really like your videos on Diablo, especially when you comparing all the different models. I just have one question, do you think the 6.0 will be a better daily car compare to the 95 VT?
The versions with the open headlights had been sourced from a Nissan 300ZX!!

Did any popup headlight Roadsters receive the power increase from ~492 to ~529 or was that only for the 1999+ clear headlight cars?
Nice summary, John. Would have been great if US spec SV's got the alcantara interiors. But fortunately we did get the carbon fiber trim unlike the plastic/composite for the RoW cars. I think VVT was also only on 98-99 SV's.
Hey John, there is a Diablo SE30 in Monterey that did not sell at RM Sotheby’s, can you check if it’s a USA spec or Canada spec car
How long was pagani involved in the Diablo? I thought he just did the countach 25th anni
I love the Lamborghini Diablo my favourite next to the Lamborghini countach
Purple Diablo is the best color with white interior
How do you open the doors
I would love to see what became of "Hoovies" Diablo???
“two hundred and seventy five thousand….might want to hold on to that one!”-Lloyd Christmas
Just... Wow!
We need more LP640’s🙏🏼🙏🏼🙏🏼
What about the GT2?
99.. Only few coupes were made and with open headlights and the retro bumper, around 50 were made.
Exellent!
es fabuloso la historia del diablo personalmente mi favorito siempre fue el diablo sv 1997
Diablo is crazy expensive today. I remember when they were sold at 80k euro back in 2003.
I had a purple SE30 & Ferrari 348 1/18 model as a kid, I got a 348, but at times I get sad where Diablo prices are going 😂
Do the murcis or gallardos nextttttt
Boa noite tive o prazer de andar em uma dessa cor em foz do Iguaçu tenho foto top
Microphone John. Lol. And wear tour seatbelt! Haha the dad in me
