- When Eddie Brock's Venom symbiote soon returned to be bonded again, allowing Venom to escape prison, the symbiote left its offspring in the cell; due to its alien mindset, the symbiote felt no emotional attachment to its offspring, regarding it as insignificant, and thus never communicated its existence to Brock via their telepathic link. The new symbiote then bonded with Brock's cellmate Cletus Kasady through a cut on his hand, transforming him into Carnage. The bond between the Carnage symbiote and Kasady was stronger than the bond between Brock and the Venom symbiote. Cletus Kasady was also a serial killer and thought of as insane. As a result, Carnage is far more violent, powerful, and deadly than Venom. Kasady and the symbiote would then be a main antagonist in "Maximum Carnage" and Kasady would continually be the most recurring character to use the Carnage symbiote in many publications.

Really? I think it’s the lack of any music, and barely any sound effects that does it, that voice just makes me cringe and laugh, it’s so bad, and not fitting for Carnage at all. Sounds like a Powerpuff Girls villain dialed up to 11
Used to scare me to death as a kid, I didn't even beat carn-ock for years because that final level was too hard and scary for me at 5 years old. Beat it a few years after though

I wish they kept Carnage's design true to the comics in all the games and the recent movie. He should have black teeth/face and veins all over his body. By giving him Venom's white teeth and simply paint him all red you make him appear more like a Venom skin rather than a different symbiote.
I mean, it's excusable for the ones based on the Ultimate universe.

Carnage and Cletus should arguably have a stronger bond than venom and Brock do, considering carnage uses I, not we, and even from a design standpoint, he’s way more massive than venom. I guess they thought a villain smaller than the main character couldn’t be perceived as a threat? They also got rid of carnage’s sick sense of humor, instead, he’s now just generic evil man

Dee's has such amazing vocal evolution as Carnage... even though I like his 2000 performance as a guilty pleasure he sounded too light and effeminate, but then his voice got deeper and mature sounding so naturally he improved having this manic growl and his delivery more sinister in Ultimate to beyond.
IKR. His voice used to be way too high and he sounded like a kids cartoon villain, which he kinda is, but Carnage is different, he’s supposed to push the line of what is allowed to be shown in a comic, game, etc.
@@aglock9193 his delivery isn't bad, but the odd voice (Which is very Narmy and Corny) takes you out of Carnage as a no nonsense badass and the games knight ceribus.

Venom and Carnage need their own triple A titles, sucks that only the main Marvel and DC characters get fully made games developed for them. Imagine playing as the Joker, or any other villain. With the same quality of gameplay as the Batman Arkham series or Insomniac Spiderman.

@@axzeosreviews4262 well the rhino one was very limited in what you could do, and with the lizard there was some time limit thing. A more realistic comparison would be like ultimate Spider-Man or Disney infinity where you can play as venom in an open world environment

@@gentletal5101 just looked him up, I'm sure I'll enjoy him once I watch Naruto. It's such a long series compared to what I'm used to though, I'll get to it eventually. It I actually like carnage for his design and abilities too, not just his character. I prefer more monsterous designs personally.
