I've never had a lesson where my instructor used a launch monitor. I went to a GolfTec once and I used a simulator. And that felt odd. I have no idea how the launch monitor experience goes. It will probably tell me I hook the ball too much.
It was an eye opener for me personally. Showed me that my old swing lacked in potential as far as distance and workability go. It started me down the long road of finding my current swing.
