Korn is an American nu metal band from Bakersfield, California, formed in 1993. The band's current lineup includes founding members Jonathan Davis (vocals, bagpipes), James "Munky" Shaffer (guitar), Brian "Head" Welch (guitar, backing vocals), and Reginald "Fieldy" Arvizu (bass), with the addition of Ray Luzier, who replaced the band's original drummer, David Silveria. Korn was originally formed by three of the members of the band L.A.P.D.

Ryan Martinie was great filling in for Fieldy. I know some people didn't like that but they're both great bass players. I love KoRn and I love Mudvayne too, I wish Mudvayne would come back.

at 1:16 , I get a great sense of enjoyment from the instruments. sounds amazing. Korn is so good live. Sadly, i was really a fan of them when i went to a concert that had them. I wanted to go to the #KoRn20 concert, but I forgot about it until it was too late. can't wait until they tour again

yeah dave was cool, had his own vibe and good groove, but Ray kills Dave in my opinion. So much more creative and talented.
Ray KILLS the drumming for me, he plays the songs more basic, saying hes more creative is a flat out lie, the criticism he gets is that he is too basic and does not play the songs with all the ghost notes like david did. dont be an idiot.
@@Necronaut A bit late, but yeah, Ray literally has all the plates around him just for looks, he doesn't use them nearly as much as David. Ray only uses like 3 of them max.

I like Ray like a person, like when he play alone that sick part of Ever Be but after those years he just have sometime wrong groove and overplays korn song (Dirty and this version of porno creep for ex.). Ray like soft sounds of cymbals when David like smash them. I only dislike David woodstoock drums when with Ray I only like 2 of his drums (the argentina 2008 and that one from 2011). I think that David is a band drummer and he only fits to korn, when Ray is a technical drummer and he can play with anyone but his creative parts on drums with korn is not that good (only like 4 songs with him + Untitled album when with David I dislike only some songs from SYOTOS). A lot of people thinks that someone play fast, on metronome it's better but the real one drummer is someone that fill the song. Ray of must time must fill the Silveria groove and I think that sometime he really hate it. I understood why Silveria left, he left because korn start to be normal band, start using typical technology, start sampled drums, and using metronome, producers starting say to him like he should play and that's what kill his fun to play drums in korn. When they start Untouchables he works for 3 month to do the perfect soundin' drums but he must play it with metronome for the 1st time after that when he broken his wrist. Silveria left korn without sayin' anyone and no one of korn members ask him why, they used agents to call him and JD even didn't know how the talk was (Scuzz interview). Now he say really shity words about korn on his FB and that's why korn don't want him and the fans (not me to judge but I think that most of the time he say true I little understood him). It's pretty sad and hope that they forgive him and he too, I hope that he'll be back. So both drummers are good but I prefer David. :)
