I just recently started playing a Brewmaster after playing Blood DK for years and holy shit there are so many more buttons! I really appreciate this video to simplify things
So I personally struggle with the massive amount of buttons that brew has to the point of forgetting that I even HAVE some of the CDs I do.. So I'm curious as to what your take would be on taking 'Press the advantage' over weapons of order to remove potentially two buttons and possibly a build more focused around dealing with bloat while also keeping survivability intact for reasonably high keys. Keeping in mind I personally don't really care about pushing beyond 20s on brew. Your advice or a bit of insight from your perspective would be helpful since I am a little smooth brained. (for 20+ I'll likely be on BDK anyway but I absolutely love playing brew just for the fun factor but don't want to stress my healer-friend out too much. Which I honestly do by just forgetting I have certain cooldowns.) SPC
My advice from getting over the same humps with Brew and clearing 3k Io last season with one.. don’t take dampen harm, take the passive. The extra dodge is noticeable in higher m+, and purifying/celestial are enough for almost all situations. I’d only pick up dampen harm if there were a specific ability myself and my healer were struggling with. I’d also suggest getting used to playing Bob and Weave, and surviving in red stagger. Don’t hit purifying brew right when it gets into the red, because it has no cap. Find out where you’re comfortable surviving and then push it from there. In 22+ Freehold on Fort, it wasn’t uncommon to be at 250% stagger before using purifying brew. You get massive heals from Gai Pins with higher stagger. On bosses, don’t be afraid to use Celestial with 5-6 stacks of purified chi, a lot of times that’s enough to take a tank buster. It doesn’t always have to be on 10 stacks, a lot of times it will expire before the whole shield is used
Hey, love your videos as they always set me on the right path for the beginning of each season! What is your view on Black Ox Statue over White Tiger Statue? With a macro the 8 second AoE taunt feels too good to drop for the bonus damage.
I’m gonna go on a limb and say you’ve got it backwards for Bob and Weave. Taking Black Ox Brew is the safe pick, because it resets all your charges. It was useful some weeks in high m+ but overall, if you’re playing well and constantly in red stagger, Bob and Weave has a higher skill cap.
no, because black ox brew is typically used in preparation or knowing mechanics, whereas Bob and weave is used as a one thing to not have to think about
Amazing! I want to play bm monk this season but ppl says he is not a good tank with the changes, should i avoid it and reroll to something else or he can be fine for 15~20 keys? Ty😊

@@milantasic6669 and more? I mean 25+?
Play what is fun dude! Screw meta
monk is ok but has some trouble with hight key and hight number of ennemies
why is monk the only tank class calling my name when I usually go for DH or DK.
My biggest problem with Bm rn is there is way too many buttons. I feel like I’m literally out of space for keyholes.
damn brew about to get slapped in 10.2 most of the stuff is magical damage too
All of this xpac
whats that mouse tracker addon called?
cursortrail addon

Most stressful tank to play with little payoff.
