Alan Taylor, so mater of fact. I worked with him 30 years ago. He got me into carp fishing in fact he gave me a pair of Optonics to get me going that I still have and use today. Back then we thought he was mad driving to France to sit for days to catch a fish. Little did we know. Sad to hear he’s died in the summer. RIP Alan
I use bags on multis or Jon mac ric whichever and all I do I shrink tube my knot like a kicker as such and it pinches the loop stops it slipping obviously if it's a bug chuck I wouldn't risk it but also helps with small fish or birds stops it unsettling to rig
They do feed just less often and less food I would try fishing with a single hook bait no freebies and find the fish as they will not move around so much I wish u luck in the coming winter 👍🍀
what if the angler isn’t competitive and just likes carp or what if theres only 2 40’s so he ment its more likely of a 20or30 slippin the net. do u really feel the need for the knob remark. its free advice for people not as god like as u must be. buy a freezer and chill ur bean

Excellent info. Simple winter rig
great to see an easy simple rig thats works just fine without shrink tube or crazy set ups
my favorite rig is an oil rig.
Looks like Autumn to me .

nice video
There is no " best " winter rig, rigs are used to suit different situations, weather, what your fishing on, gravel silt ext.
i know this was 7 years ago but fish feed very slowly in winter best is a short rig with no movement to hook asap instead of having 10" of play
To previous comments these are the anglers preferred rigs. they are what they think are suitable for their situation.
hi im a new carp fisherman i just wanna know does carp bite in winter ...on lake... cuz over her fisherman says that carp dont bite in winter

Don't add a bag to Alan's rig lol!!!! Unless that hair is tied solid to the bag with pva :)
Adam Bentley I thought that a multi rig the loop for the swivel will just close up when you cast??
i use a lead similar to franks, only i chuck mine over my boat to stop it!!!!
I would never use such a long rig in winter, not working for me.
That last guy needs to stop smoking with his yellow fingers
Why fish for Carp when there's Barbel to be caught !!
grate
حلو لكن يحتاج لتركيز في موضوع الثقل وربط الشص

Why would you fish for 20/30s if there are 40s in there lol. Go big or go home
The worst kind of rig would be rigour mortise!
