    DANNY FAIRBRASS
    Age: 44 PB: 48lb 10oz (UK) 72lb (France)
    Danny Fairbrass, the gaffer, was the founder of Korda Developments and, alongside his great team, has made Korda what it is today. He began his career traipsing around Walthamstow Reservoirs selling leads from his bucket, so you can appreciate that he's come a long way!
    With a creative, trusted and innovative team behind him, Danny likes to spend time out the office to maximise his fishing efforts. This angling can take the form of magazine articles, television series or, when he gets time, his own personal pursuit of big carp at home and abroad.
    Over the past few years, Dan has managed some truly magnificent fish from both home and abroad to over 70lb in weight. His mind is constantly in overdrive, innovating and developing new ideas to help improve his catch rate.
    Danny is an authority on precision distance fishing and his spodding has to be seen to be believed! His rig thinking never stands still and the valuable insight that the Underwater series gave him means that he's always developing new solutions to all our rig problems. Dan's material is never dull so keep an eye out for his thought-provoking contributions on this site.

    He doesn't tell us to use it because it is the only way to catch a Carp he show us how he is fishing
    I agree also that he knows very well how to sell his products but also the rig reacts perfectly in the carps mouth
    I disagree totally for putting to much materials on the rig because a successful fishing it depends in the place that you are fishing. If you find fish then every rig you are dropping into the lake will catch a carp. We should admire Danny about his pasion for carp fishing and the way that he looks for solutions to catch more carp in any situation he fish. All the carp fishermen much think this way not just drop a rig with a boilie and try to catch one.
    Tights lines to all!!!

    all these different rigs and bait etc maybe they help a bit but you can use a normal hair rig with a couple bits of corn and catch the same damn fish.

      I do agree with you but different rigs over different lake beds will produce more fish. Ie choddy or spinner on weedy or very very soft silt, bottom bait on your choice of rig mine being the d rig on every thing else.

    • @MichaelDavis-kf9lk
      @MichaelDavis-kf9lk 3 роки тому +1

      GSE can use a standard rig on very soft silt with a bottom bait as long as you’re using a smaller lead and pva foam

    I caught a 20lb'er (my first carp) off a slip rig with stale corn and basic packbait. Why do I need all this extra rigging?

    • @endlessdiep
      @endlessdiep 5 років тому +3

      because your method wont work in every situation. of course you will catch carp, but the passion behind all the rigs is to adapt to every situation that nature confronts you with. especially in tournaments that is very important :)

      It's all bull shit to get the young angler who's parents have money. Fishing has changed it's the same as everything it's all about money. I saw in 1 ov these videos the other day they had a fukin drone flying over the lake. You know what let's just get a boat and nets and start trawling. It's becoming a joke

    • @theohastings2118
      @theohastings2118 3 роки тому

      You know that is to get good shots of the lake, not to help locate fish

    • @theohastings2118
      @theohastings2118 3 роки тому

      Lee Surman have you ever tried the goo, and if so if it was only one then you should try others, because the carp won’t always like on type of goo. It’s the same with different hooks it’s for say match fishing. If they aren’t eating pellets, then you try sweet corn, or maybe meat. You can’t really rely on one type of bait or goo, to get the results. And for carp fishing, it’s with the colour of your hookbait. Sometimes they will like orange or pink or yellow, and so you change until you find what is best for the lake, or the day. It’s the same with goo. Your probably another Korda hater that makes assumptions.

    When will these companies hire guys who speak english for promoting their products? They hire the best fishermen who very proudly speak their native pond english, and most people get tired trying to listen to them.
    The guys who speak the American english or at least standard english and not some freaking dialect, make the most views.
