I have a 65L 3/4full so my daybag fits in it no problem. 13kg total for everything.... I can easily go through busstations, yeet my bag in the luggagecompartment then walk 30+min to my hostel.... I see people struggling with bags like that all the time and just cant wrap my head around it....

The only bag what you need for traveling in thailand is the bag what you take in to the plane. I see many backpackers look like a mule.
