I've been using these (although mine are walnut brown) almost daily since 1995. No complaints, except a warranty woofer replacement in 1996. They have been DJ speakers many times despite not being designed for that, and they were perfect for every job. The sound is as accurate as much more expensive speakers if you ask me, at low, mid, and high volumes. Frequency response is so flat that it takes a computer to notice the difference between these and pricier items. Plus, they're very efficient, making weak amps sound strong. I'd love to buy another pair.
What are your opinion on these ? I have a pair that I have had since the early 90's and loved them . I no longer listen to them becouse I fear damaging the woofers (foam rot) . I really need to get off my butt and fix them 🤠
These speakers are amazing and still playing in my basement. I wish infinity never stop making floor speakers. Over time speakers gets damaged but can be repaired and it’s just good as new. If the speakers are still in good condition and why not fix them? Re foaming the woofers is not to bad. You can find it in UA-cam how to do it and get the parts you need on eBay. I have these since i was born technicaly and it was used for a lot of parties. Recently i got them refoamed and they sound a tiny bit worse then original but now they will last probably as long as im alive. I used them on a party after refoaming, hooked them up on 150 watts continuous power for 7 hours, the amp got fried and the speakers were undamaged in the end. Literal fucking monsters. Its a shame to not be using them. Some would say they dont have the highest quality sound and arent balanced. The bass is muffled, mids not that detailed and highs sharp, but i can tell you all of that can be fixed with a good amp, some basic equalizer (i recommend peace apo equalizer) and soon i will put foam on the inside. Then, these will be perfect. These are worth investing into, bc they are unique, special, you cant find something like these on the market anymore, not today (have tried).

@@pjayl0can0 I have had a pair of these since 2011! and my one complaint is that on higher output, at higher bass resonance around 200hz and up, the cabinet sides can vibrate pretty loudly, I wish they used a baffle cross arm or a thicker side piece to buffer the vibration, I added a cross arm to one of mine and never got around to the other, I use these on an amplifier out of an audio interface for my guitar, they sound awesome with my bogner and mesa simulation amps off my computer, i need to swap my foam surrounds on the woofer too.
@@quadzilla60sorry to hear that but never had that kind of issues on the speaker. The only problem I had when adjusting the volume one of the speaker making that scratchy sound. Opened up the dial crossover and cleaned it with air dust cleaner and problem solved. The speaker still going strong and no complaints. Thanks for watching!

How is the sound in low volume? is pleasant?
Specially when you listen to slow music or jazz at night with low volume is makes you fell relaxing. Thanks for watching!
