I have been skiing Mt Hutt for the last 10 years with my daughters and rate it. Plenty of variability of slopes and has been great to watch them develop into competent skiers. Also easier to be catching chairlifts rather than T-Bars or Rope Tows.
@@scottybsactiveinterests Thanks for the reply. I'm in my 50's and weigh 120kg so the chair is a nice rest between runs and allows the quad burn to subside!!! We'll look for some early bird specials and lock in Mt Hutt for August. Thanks again.
@@iain1969 Depending on how many days you think you will ski, check out the multi-day pass which you can use across the whole season and can be a good option compared to buying a season pass. Being of similar age and weight, the chairlift is always a nice chance to get a breather before the next run! I enjoy skiing with my daughters and know every time that if am paying, they are always going! Enjoy the mountain.
I am old enough to remember that triple chair opening back in the early 80s...
Thanks for the video. What did you think of Mt H? My daughter and I are thinking of giving it a try next winter.

Whats with the elbows? Swinging your hips as if you want to dance. Lets your knees do the job. What about unweighting?
If you went down morning glory it would have been longer haha
You're right. Got focused on the vertical metres instead of the actual distance. Both options are nice runs.
@@scottbennett1614 absolutely agree! Fascination adds more variety to the run.
