I don’t like the direction that Poker cash games are headed. I like the classic let’s play the game we are playing and just stick to that. None of the seven deuce, or whatever variation you were playing in that game. Might as well just go roll Dice in a back alley.
Aero hi As a silent subscriber (probably the worst kind) I’ve been really enjoying your videos. I’m a winning 1/3 player who wants to move up in stakes and I find your logic process around bet sizing to narrow opponents ranges very informative. You are giving me some tangible strategies that I’ve been incorporating into my own play with some success. I’m going to be in Vegas in March and I’m planning to play at the Wynn - it would be cool to catch up. If I have one request it would be that you continue to focus on your sessions at the Wynn. They are really informative. Don’t underestimate how well they stack up against other Vlogs on UA-cam. I would put yours up at the top with Brads. Keep the faith and don’t dumb it down!
Robin, message me on Instagram when you're at the Wynn. As long as it's at night, I try to make efforts to meet up with my fans. :) Also, I will certainly post the majority of my vlogs as low stakes informative vlogs. That's kind of the niche I've targetted and my particular specialty. Once in awhile I may post something different, but the majority of my vlogs should still be educational low-stakes vlogs.
love the way you analysed the opening hand was no good; don't think he would have folded his set on the turn even if you did bump it up but my question here is had you called hid turn bet and another heart came on the river, do you think your bet there he would fold to? These TONA rules seem ridiculous ... but a lot of fun!! You also reiterated the fact to pay attention always at the table when you thought you and Joanne were the only ones left with the NIT buttons, but guess that wasn't rally your fault seeing Megan had hers almost hidden in her stack! Absolutely loved the 5 high bluff! table image loosening up here too! The K6 suited hand against Megan; maybe she would have folded if you jammed the river? 77 hand was beautiful! I have to agree; Megan is a good player! David's tell, is it he removes his hand from his cards and along with playing with his chips he is grinding his teeth? I can't really see it that well but it looks like it. That was a sick hand btw! That double board bomb pot was crazy - never seen the communal card on the turn before! Set mining with the 8s worked brilliantly and getting all of Joanne's stack in the process - did she table her hand at all? Nice check back to Megan with AJ suited. And it seems you can't miss hitting sets with the 8s!! Great vlog Areo.. pls keep the material coming!
Very nice job areo, congrats. Hardrock casino in Bristol Virginia opened here last month on 14th but they are not opening the poker room till sometime in January. I may be reaching out for some help, advice and coaching come February if all goes well with there poker room. Jay from Tennessee 😎
When I wasn't as good, I've had a negative 10k month playing 2-5 before. I can't recall ever going 2 months in a row with losses though. I believe I've had 9 or 10 session losses in a row before. Granted, I didn't have the skillset I currently have. When you lose that many sessions in a row, a lot of it comes from simply bad play compounded with bad luck.
bro aero i moved from min buy in (200) being profitable to 500 buy in in 2/5 when the max is 1000 and i won 4 sessions straight big wins but then 8 sessions are all lost and i lost my bankroll completely , i noticed its because a lot of players there play like you so if i have big stack they make big bluffs and they mix their 3 bet range with premium and suited connectors , but when i have the min buy its completely different , what do u think i should do ?
Then your only option is to continue playing the style that is most comfortable for you. If 200 is what you're used to and it works for you, then keep doing that until you rebuild your bankroll.
Wouldn’t you want to just rip it in with QJ preflop if you knew he’s raising light so you can get it in good? If you’re jamming any flop anyway, isn’t it better to reduce variance and take down the pot right away?
This is actually the correct answer! And you're the only one to notice it in the comments. ;) He does it 3 separate times. We have since become friends, so I have revealed his tell to him. Otherwise, this is the sort of thing you totally monopolize and capitalize on for years against someone you play with regularly!
My read was dead on. I never said that I was ahead of him preflop. That would be a ridiculous assessment to make with Q-high. I only know that he's nervous and weak. He could have a hand lile A5 suited there that is definitely weak, but still ahead of me.
It wasn't a snap call. She took roughly 10 seconds to call. She did end up having a huge draw of sorts, but she also had a pair to go along with it. I would have to commit more than I was willing to in order to try to steal this one.
@@internetpoints9250 maybe not everyone wants to the same format every time. It’s nice to see different games I don’t want to watch the same 2-5 game every vid
Yes, just in time for my favorite poker vlog to come out!
The dynamics of these side games involved make the play way to gambly. Your content at the Wynn is much better to watch.
@@gargantuangoose24 I would actually agree with you lol. From an educational standpoint anyways. This crazy action gets a rise out of some viewers.
💯i strongly prefer the Wynn games. This vlog was a yawn.
I disagree higher variance means higher reward

I don’t care if you agree or disagree with me ladyfish, your opinion doesn’t matter to me. This was a message directed towards aero.
These videos are great. Love seeing the adaptations you implement. I’d be completely fine if these were included on regular basis. Nice job!

@16:40 "And by all that is holy..." Hilarious.
Pocket 8’s are my favorite hand and this video proves why ;)

QJ hearts hand was a shove or fold spot pre
I should definitely have shoved!

Great video!
Waiting on this for a hit minute brother lmao
*hot
I got a question brother do you play poker when you are sick?
I try not to. It definitely affects my play negativity, and it's also not fair to the other players for me to be spreading disease ;p
Yea
Great content !!
Thank you 😊
Nice win!

In all honesty, I think you should play 1-3 with a deeper buy in as opposed to 2-5 with a short buy in.
@@AeroPlaysPoker there is only one casino in my town and its only 2/5

what happened to Magikarp Poker channel?
Solid play
Thank you :)

It looks like one of his tells is the quick flutters of blinking. It also looks like he swallows trying to stay calm.
It's the swallowing! He does it 3 separate times.
@ I knew it was one of those two, maybe even both but not sure due to not seeing him play before or rewatching the video.
I’m a sad panda sp!! Love it
The tell at 20 minutes, is it that he remained very still and didnt really move at all with his hand clemcehd tight?

YES! I actually come to this conclusion and make this same statement at the end of the video :) Very good assessment!
Ah yes, just got to the end
Damn...very nice win
It's a deceptively big game for a 5-5 😅
I prefer your way more realistic play at the Wynn. But always appreciate the content.
@@decepticonr2d2 new Wynn vlogs coming out soon! :D
We have a Quadzilla sighting!!!
So true! 😂 But in 5-card double board bomb pots, it's not ultra rare.
David is blinking uncontrollably
He swallowed 3 times. I caught 2 of them, but if you check the video, you can see him do it 3 times, but I was looking away during one of them.
What was his tell Aero??

@AeroPlaysPoker right but that's what your intro said

Fantastic!
Didn’t hit a single pair with Ak in 3 hands. Ak blows
Even with two run outs on two of the boards 😂
For real! Pocket 8s are the nuts for sure 🤣
@Duffle27 IKR!! Made two sets with them! 😂
88 is also my favorite hand

What’s the tell bro? The fact that he looks constipated? 😂
He tried so hard to look un nervous

@@AeroPlaysPoker That's normally a strength tell so I guess he was implementing some reverse tells
Watch my vlog #8 where I snap called a nearly 1k shove in the 2-5 with 2nd pair. The swallow is almost always a nervousness sign.
So funny you know Arron
I call him poker boyfriend met him years ago in Vegas playing poker😂
