Just wanted to let Aero know that I enjoy watching your content as well as the clear and down to earth way you explain the way you play your hands. Hopefully I could learn from it and make some side income off of poker as well some day.
I just watched this video today and It helped my mentality a lot. I had same exact session last night, 2 times I was up and down and finally booked a win thankfully. I was wondering what to do when you open and some people always stab your pot even flop hit my range, and this video helped me what to do. Thanks @Aero! Please keep going to share this type of session, that’s so insightful!
It someone stabs your "range", sounds like you don't actually have anything. Should be a pretty straight forward fold, especially in the 1-2 and 1-3 stakes
@ yes That’s correct. I open and 5 callers, and someone just donk bet. I was wondering folding all hands these type of days is a weaknes or not. What about 2 over card on low boards, how to proceed when they donk on low steak? Still fold or at least a call one time to see the Turn?
@TwelveandHalf fold almost every time. Unless you're getting an ultra price and you think your 2 overs are actually live. Like for instance if someone bets like 1/4 pot and there's a few callers.
Your A/J on the board of 8,10, A vs the All in, and disciplined fold, is one I'm working on. I am folding more, but sometimes don't and get smoked. Ugh.
It took me a while to accept a new content provider and opening one of your videos. Now I regret it not watch your videos earlier. This is my first video and I am already impressed and a fan! Well done Mr. and Ms. editor 👏
I can't believe some people still think my voice is AI after all this time. I think they're the sort that still use flip phones if you know what I mean. 😜
Needed the dose of Aero! I was reaching in the bottom of the barrel by watching *not to be named* poker vloggers XYZ last week. Glad to see ya back; can't wait to see you on stream!
Nice tactic squeezing in the bb making the btn fold a better jack; love the analysis behind this decision and will be using this one for sure myself! 😊 the discipline fold with AJ off after 3 betting pre flop to the shove on the flop even after you took ur time to figure out your either ahead with opp needing to hit one of 10 outs or behind and needing to hit one of 3 outs yourself…. Fukin amazing!!!! And love to see that patience pay off with the QQ! ❤ I also love the Q10 clubs hand where u recognised u made a mistake pre flop not 3 betting and letting the junk hand in to turn trips! And the check raise on the river with 910 clubs - just awesome! Followed by the discipline fold for AA. I think Randy is a calling station?? Glad u got him in the end!! As always, loving the material and the honest analysis behind the game play… keeping em coming bro 👊🏽
Your videos put me in the right mind set before a setion. Makes me think way more logically in each spot. Absolutely love how you think about this game!
I just found your Vlog. I was a 1/2 player for years and felt confident enough to move up to 2/5 a year ago. My bankroll went way up. I still have losing days, but I do win more than I lose. I sometimes have problems folding say K,K to a board of 3, 6, 5, A, 10. because I have trouble believing my opponent has 4/2 for example.....I'm working on it. Last June I was there in Las Vegas and played 5 different 2/5 sessions at the Wynn and came away ahead every session. I play poker in the Dallas area. Texas poker is crazy and not like other places, so playing in Vegas seemed almost "tame" in some ways....You should come play in Dallas or Austin. I recommend Texas Card House Social in Las Colinas near Dallas, or The Lodge in Austin.
Ok... I appreciate you showing tht everything is not always good n golden. This was a good reality check on when sessions go when u raise n do not hit hands.

Liked the video keep up the good work great info... my major leak is calling those all ins! When like you said I have a large edge over the openent when playing my game.
Yeah I'd rather find a better spot. I had no problem snap calling a 1K shove with 2nd pair of 7's in vlog #8 when I put my opponent only on 2 overs with no redraw.
Aero: with your AJ hand , I would have called against that jam all in.assuming I was ahead against any combo draw.Which is a big blunder like what happened with Q9 club hand I played at the 3 5 last week.Taking a risk of a whole stack on a coin slip situation is not ideal in the long run to play poker for a living. Thanks again Aero for learning something new from you again, great content as usual!
I’m not sure the 10c9c hand that you check raised the river with will work most of the time. I understand you are reading the players, but they could do that as well, and does it ever make sense to check raise the river with a monster after the first two streets checked through?
If I had 10-10, flop would definitely be a check. Once opponents checked back, I would be a sad panda, but turn would give me hope for another check raise opportunity. Once that, yet again, checked through, I would be left with 2 options for the river. Over-bet, or hope someone stabs. This is almost exactly how my hand with 8-8 went on the 8-high flop when I played on the Absolute Nuts live stream that I vlogged recently. Checked flop, K turn, I checked, K river, I over-bet.
Would love to see you play 1/3 at the Wynn since it plays a bit different than a 300bb 2/5 game and see how you adjust your strategy to that game size, especially since your audience is likely a majority of 1/2 and 1/3 players looking to move up to the $5 blind games....loving your channel, appreciating your contribution as always
Welcome my friend, hopefully he watches your volgs and reaches out for your help. Like I said if you watch his volg he definitely could use your training. I don't know if he will or not I just gave him your info to try and help him as I don't even know him. Jay from Tennessee 😎
Oh trust me, I had a really, really hard time making the lay down too! I tanked a full 3 minutes. I just figured I'd wait for a better spot than to get it in for $1200 with one pair, mediocre kicker. And that spot came 20 minutes later!
Nope if he stacked that opponent then he would have double stacked him later for 3k profit especially if he likely had kq clubs instead of an open-ended clubs. He nitrolled and it costs him a big win.
@@elmreks u reek of ass licking. words evolve u dinosaur. But u keep folding them “potentially bad odds” of yours and lick more asses. It’ll be your only source of visibility. :)

Paired boards are excellent for c-bet bluffs! Terrible for over pairs because they're so polarized. Someone likely only has 2 outs, and it could be you!
First time watching your videos. Not bad. I’ll be out there on Friday of next week. Where will I find the most recreational players at the 2-5 and 5-10 stakes?
Evening @aeroplayspoker I was the small blind player at the 11:31 mark of the video. That had been playing with seat 3 for a while seeing him getting out of line. My 66 hand vs your A4 I played in an away trying to rep 77, 88, or 67 suited. Thinking you were on a Qx and Button was on A high. Do you fold all Q’s here? Do you feel my bet size was appropriate repping what saying I had? Thanks just curious your thoughts a little further on that spot. Good news was I stacked that 3 seat later with the 97 suited vs his set of 10s on flopped straight 3 way all in post flop. So I can’t complain about my luck that evening. Take care nice to meet you.
Hey there! Nice playing with you. :D Unfortunately, I am calling with all Q's there. A bluff from you would be extremely difficult to get past considering how the action went. It's better to check since you have showdown value. Also since the pot was so small, you'd have to pretty much double bet pot for me to fold a Q.
Thanks appreciate the reply. So with that being said you think if I had all those boats or straights, I meant 56 suited miss typed. I should also be betting at or over pot there in that case vs 70% and would normally get called by as little as KQ in a player in your spot? Wanna make sure getting appropriate value in future when have it.
@kristifleas if you watch Marc Goon from Hungry Horse, you would know that exploitative players like us who are at the top of the game do NOT play balanced 😂 We do not mimic our bluffs with our value hands. Does it open us up to being exploited ourselves? Sure. But is anyone capable of doing it at the low stakes? Naaaaaah!
Oh by the way, I'm not just calling you with QK there. It's a nuts or nothing type of situation. I'm calling you with Q10 or QJ suited. I'm probably also calling you as light as pocket 9's or 10's. I'm only raising you, however, with 7's or 8's.
“I don’t get into flip situations with people I have a skill edge on” Oof. This is the exact wrong attitude to take. Give action to the players who will likely give action back and put it back in play. Don’t give action to regs/profit players.
Is it possible villian was betting a K like K9, K10, KJ when you had aces on the river? Did you have a read or is a larger bet almost always a nutted hand here?
Those hands have showdown value and lose to a Q. They're almost always checking the river hoping that I check back. Turning a decent hand like top pair into a bluff is almost always nonsensical unless the board calls for it, like 5 cards to a flush or straight on board already.
Bro aero tell me ur opinion about this , I am playing in casino 2/5 and we play 3 people in limped pot the flop is Q 8 4 with 2 spades i am holding Q 8 i lead with 10€ in the 17€ pot i get raised from the guy next to me to 30€ and the other guy 4bet to 100€ my stack is 350 and my buy in was 200
So I am thinking I only invested 15€ in this pot and I am +150 already and also usually people limp with pocket pairs under 5 or with low suited cards so i thought one of them had the q with some terrible kicker and the other have a set most luckily 4 4 so I folded my hand and they both show their cards . The guy that 3bet showed one queen and the 4 bet showed aces so I got very mad about my decision, what’s ur opinion
In the future, don't reveal what the other players had so that you get my honest opinion. But that should have been a shove from you with top two every time. You have less than 100 big blinds. You should honestly never buy in so shallow to begin with. You're playing with scared money. You're thinking that you're already up 150 and want to walk away with it instead of making rational decisions, which means the stakes are way higher than you're comfortable with. You beat all combo draws such as 9-10, 10-J, and 9-J of spades. You beat QK, limped over-pairs, and weaker 2-pair combos such as suited versions of Q4 and 8-4 which weaker players will limp with. I would flat there to trap with 1K and above stacks, putting a check-raise on the turn, and shove with stacks of 500 and below.
@ ok bro ty, but with 200 buy in I usually make profit because there are a lot of players that doesn’t know how to play vs short stacks , should u still change to 500 ? That is half than max buy in ?
If you're a profitting player, you'll only increase your hourly with a higher buy in. 1k buy in requires deep stack protection skills, but you should definitely learn to play at least 100 BB's deep, otherwise you're better off playing a smaller stake using the same buy in. You'll play against a weaker player pool.
What i like about your videos is that you’re playing a game that we can all relate too. I don’t watch Rampage. He’s a joke and I seldom watch Brad Owens. I enjoy Jamen. All this high stakes poker with idiots throwing in 10’s of thousands of dollars with shit hands isn’t poker. It’s a gold mine for Mariano except when he starts to get way out of line. . I think you played your 5/10 game well but just ran bad. You’re playing for a purpose to feed and house your family. Keep up the good work. I’d be interested in splitting tutor sessions with another experienced player. I’m retired and a winning player in 1/3.

“I don’t get into flip situations with people I have a skill edge on”
Oof. This is the exact wrong attitude to take. Give action to the players who will likely give action back and put it back in play. Don’t give action to regs/profit players.
I don't give action to anybody unless I think I'm ahead lol. Equal opportunity winner!
Cmon man, I’m going through withdrawals. I need another video lol
@@scottmagri6306 new video comes out today!

@@AeroPlaysPoker Please make more videos. Ive watched all of them.
Slowing down during the holidays. Halloween behind, Thanksgiving, and Christmas ahead! That's a lot of decorating and cooking! 🔪 🦃
“You know how sticky it gets”??? What you know about that 😂
Two kids man. Two kids!
What app do you use to track you winnings?
Poker Bankroll Tracker
Good stuff
Glad you enjoyed it! 😁
you forgot to say what the villain had in the QQ hand or Randy at the end....
I did not forget. When you table the nuts and or winning hand, your opponent does not have to show.
@@AeroPlaysPoker ok bro , i learn a lot from ur videos , but u upload a little videos , so i replay older ones
Okay you can have a comment this time ❤️
I win!!!
Damn its beeen a whileee
IKR?! Aero doesn't post a video for a week and a half and you have to wonder if I'm dead and undiscovered in the basement!
Thanks for the well comstructed compliment Thomas! Are you local in Vegas or elsewhere?
@ yes
Rampage is a high stakes winning version of Aero 😈😈😈
Thomas, shoot me an email. I have a few winning 1-3 players I coach locally. I can add you to the group email list for whenever they get together for a group session.
