I love to go to Toronto to see its great buildings, attractions and restaurants. And it's all because I have Canadian relatives living in the Toronto area. It's my favorite city.
Brian Skafica The best "attraction" Toronto has to offer these days IS... the very low Canadian Dollar, US$1 for C$1.35. On the other hand if you happen to drive prepare for high gas prices anywhere in the Toronto area, maybe $1 more per gallon than in NYS or California. Regardless, Welcome to Toronto and enjoy your stay.
+mrwilla57 You're very welcome although like yourself I don't live in Toronto anymore (still family up there) BUT unlike yourself I don't miss it at all. Be safe out there.
Great video! I have family in Toronto and have been there several times, most recently July 2014 in which I took my husband and kids! We had a great time! I love how you've gone all over! I just said to my husband that we need to get a dash cam to record our travels! We travel quite a bit by car for our younger son's travel soccer. Thank you again!
Love my city! The DVP is where I go when I want to cruise. Specifically the Bayview on ramp to the DVP has a couple nice tight corners then a nice view of the DT core! Love it!
I visited Toronto for the first time back in May, and just like that, I want to get out of Kansas and move here so bad. You guys have it so lucky (granted, there ups and downs about every place you go). I'll get there someday!
You're right, sometimes I lose sat signal for my SiriusXM in-car radio, but all together it's a pretty modern city to live in. Best wishes from Marco Island, FL where I'm on vacation right now. Stay safe. Chris
Lots of time on Lakeshore RD in Mississauga, Oakville, Burlington, different portions of the road of course, but never from TO all the way to Hamilton, it will take an eternity to get to your final destination. Beautiful but also very expensive residential areas on Lakeshore RD west of TO. Chris
I remember when I landed back in Toronto from Melbourne, I've felt so much better. No other city in the world can come close to my city! ! ! !! !TDOT! !! ! !
Love the video, love that city. I visit a lot since I'm from Michigan and love driving! So if you ever see a black A4 with Michigan license plate, say hello ! :D

Thank you, Cecilia. I'd love to give you the songs played on the video, unfortunately I don't know them either, at home (as in car as well) I have a legit SiriusXM sat radio subscription and I simply let my computer record live shows and then I just select a portion of the recording I like the most and mix it up with the video itself. I do not listen to SiriusXM when my computer records the shows. Be safe and happy out there. Chris
Don Valley Parkway, southbound to Gardiner. Was that the old and new Bridgepoint buildings? Hey, there is Queen Street further down. I love driving along this route.
You're correct that already a year since my last Toronto video BUT: 1) Nothing has changed in Toronto since last year therefore the new video would look identical with the last one, maybe a different soundtrack of course, plus I think it's pretty boring to do videos mostly from one place only 2) Right now I'm focusing on places I have no videos on my channel yet Hopefully you're gonna like my next 10-20 videos, all from new places only. Enjoy the summer. Chris
As much as most of the local residents hate to admit it (but that's a story for another time) but TO is undoubtedly a very American city, at least by its very impressive D/T skyline, and God knows how this city is gonna look like in a year when more high-rise buildings and skyscrapers will be fully open for occupancy. Stay safe. Chris
Great video Chris. It looks weird how some buildings are real close to the Gardiner, like Air Canada Centre. You ever considered taking the lake shore road to Oakville, Burlington, Hamilton? Thanks.
Man, this video shows me so much emotion, I'm 14 and me and my friend Dylan have already started saving up for our big trip, I start working in a few months and that will help me a lot, were planning on going when we are 18 and im going to aim for 10,000$ on Visa. We have already looked at some hotels and have really recommended staying in the "Grand Hotel and Suites". If you didn't know, I am from Kentucky and this trip is exactly 9hrs and 52 minuets for me to reach the hotel and I cannot wait for this big adventure! Hopefully I am going to find me a Nice Canadian Sweetie to bring back with me, Or maybe I might just stay(:
Please read my previous reply to you as well. DC, at least 6 times since 2003, in the 2011 All-American Road Trip Playlist you'll see couple of DC videos. Stay safe. Chris
Long drive from Port Huron/Sarnia or Detroit/Windsor border crossings to TO, also pretty boring that 401 up until you get the outskirts of TO that's why I always use Peace Bridge (Fort Erie/Buffalo) border crossing to get into USA. Summer '07 last time when I drove thru MI from Sarnia/Port Huron on way to UT and '01 to Chicago. Full of B&W OPPs btwn MI and TO but almost nonexistent around TO unless you get another crash creating chaos for everybody. Drive safely. Chris
+KIng Taut That route would be the Don Valley Parkway. At the very beginning of the video they are going under the Bloor Viaduct (you can see the suicide barriers along the top). They make their way down the DVP to the entrance to the Gardiner Expressway and proceed west along the Gardiner.
You're correct, if you include Mexico into equation: 1) Mexico City 2) NYC 3) LA 4) Toronto 5) Chicago. But as per World Reputation: 1) Sydney 2) Toronto 3) Stockholm 4) Vienna 5) Venice... 100) Baghdad.

+johnwoa I'm in Texas but almost daily read Toronto Sun and 680 News over the internet just to keep close with the city I lived (still family in Toronto) for 20+ years. Mexico as part of NA is pretty much an academic thing, what you mostly hear inside liberal and other anti-white groups, mainstream media included, in real life Mexicans don't give a damn on NA, most of them don't even know what NA really is, for them all that matters is SPANISH (or Latino/Hispanic) America and that includes everybody who speaks Spanish and that's the entire area from south of USA up to Chile, Brazil the only exception (they speak Portuguese) and therefore they are included in the Latin American CONTINENT. For them Canada and USA are not part of their Latin America traditions and therefore you will never see them talking nicely about anything going on in Canada and USA. Mexico City, as the most populous city in NA, is pretty much a creation of left-wing liberal academia to show English NA (populated by white European ppl) they are starting to become a minority around the world. White Guilt Liberalism if you wish.

Except for AK & HI, no single inch of your beautiful country I have not covered yet: /watch?v=69-sS7p1FAw 2004 to beautiful historic Philly, City of Brotherly Love, everything on video but unfortunately on VHS tapes only, no YT or HD technology at that time. Still remember that large boulevard with lots of world flags also that famous historic building where Rocky Balboa included in his movies. Plus the historic district where the founding fathers signed the Decl of Ind, or Constitution...
That too also depends on what you want out of life. If you want low taxes and are willing to give up a ton of city services, no guarantee of health coverage, and a state that really doesnt care about environmental and safety regulations.. then Texas isnt all that bad until you actually need what you are giving up or suffer pain, injury, or death because of the lax regulatory agencies here.
Purposely muted lots of my old copyrighted videos in order to get revenue off them. All my videos since 2012-2013 are now copyright-free, Google LLC monthly direct deposit into my bank account has almost doubled since then. All the best.
@@sullysboy That's a pretty old video, IF you're really interested in the city or at least some main highways around Toronto, here's a 2019 Toronto video: ua-cam.com/video/A41Fiz5Z4e4/v-deo.html Have a great work week ahead.
Yeah the 1 hour from Sarnia to London is terrible haha but from that point on it's pretty ok, but in that part I've never seen any OPP's (thank god), but the MI side is pretty packed with State Troopers :/ Drive safe!
+getoffen Family in Houston, TX. Plus very hard for a socially and fiscally conservative to live in a very liberal socialist environment. Regardless where I live right now, I'm still Canadian with the right to vote in future federal elections. Close to 25 years in T.O. All the best in life.

getoffen Never been to Vancouver, only Montreal as a major Canadian city. But if you speak no French, just forget about it. Regardless, where do you live right now, so I can compare your current location with anything similar in Canada. And you wanna come here to study only or move permanently in case you have all paperwork taken care of.
Well, it depends what you're looking for in your future life. Visiting is nice and relaxing but to start living permanently in a new place is a totally different ball game. Downtown Toronto looks pretty impressive BUT there are other things you gotta consider as well, for instance high taxes (13% ONT sales tax, 5% in AB) and high gas prices (lowest in AB as well) to pay for our own "ObamaCare" LOL, w/o very high taxes our socialized healthcare system would go busted right away. Try Houston, TX.
Why Canada and not, let's say, France, so you can easily go back to Morocco and visit your family any time you want w/o burning 1/2 of your monthly salary on air fare? Also since at least 7 years ago, immigration law has change dramatically, not easy to come to Canada legally anymore. Good language skills, very good education, a pre-approved job offer, pass a very strict written test, settlement funds, that's how you get a LEGAL immigrant entry into Canada. Best of Luck. Chris
Rob Ford looks like he's about to blow any second. He needs to lose weight. I used to live in Toronto but now I'm in NYC, but I do miss the city sometimes.
Neta Manor That's impossible to give a straight answer cause there are lots of parks in Toronto. It depends on your family status situation, single, married, kids or not, then do you drive or will be relying solely on TTC only, would you like to be close to downtown area (what you see in the video) or don't care at all, etc. I live in Scarborough area of the city (25 km to downtown) some 3 km from Lake Ontario shore, it's pretty safe BUT as anywhere in a major urban area, you can expect anything by night and especially IF you happen to be a female walking alone at 3am, right? The closer to Lake Ontario warm waters, less snow and milder temps in the winter. Go to Google Maps and input these GPS coordinates 43.736623,-79.248168, that's mostly my area, go for Street View and then see how many green zones (that's parks) within up to 5 km walking distance. All the best out there.
Neta Manor Green on the map is all PARKS. Maybe ten parks around that particular GPS location. But if you're not comfortable with Google Maps, here you have City of Toronto Parks listings: www1.toronto.ca/wps/portal/contentonly?vgnextoid=337280ac0d554410VgnVCM10000071d60f89RCRD&vgnextchannel=1309a5dc09311410VgnVCM10000071d60f89RCRD&appInstanceName=default Enjoy the long weekend.

True, he's very overweight and he already knows that, also over here there is no medical test required by law before you start running for the mayorship, like the one in the States with Presidential Elections. Cause you used to live in Toronto and now in NYC, Rob Ford is the opposite of Obama and Andrew Cuomo, policies of course, also he's the very first (socially and fiscally) conservative mayor in the modern history of Toronto, for left-wing media that was a shock when he won 3 years ago.
Can't believe I live here. Love my city.
Thank you very much.

Still remember that large boulevard with lots of world flags also that famous historic building where Rocky Balboa included in his movies. Plus the historic district where the founding fathers signed the Decl of Ind, or Constitution...
Maybe our "mighty" TO Maple Leafs would put more passion in bringing the Lord Stanley back to where it belongs...
Stay safe.

What's that song at 11:10?
Dashboard camera mount.
nic city toronto
Sony HDR-XR100
That too also depends on what you want out of life. If you want low taxes and are willing to give up a ton of city services, no guarantee of health coverage, and a state that really doesnt care about environmental and safety regulations.. then Texas isnt all that bad until you actually need what you are giving up or suffer pain, injury, or death because of the lax regulatory agencies here.
theres no sound in the whole video of music just at the begenning thats it
Purposely muted lots of my old copyrighted videos in order to get revenue off them.
All my videos since 2012-2013 are now copyright-free, Google LLC monthly direct deposit into my bank account has almost doubled since then.
All the best.
@@ChrisRoadWarrior what are the songs by until the end of the video
@@sullysboy That's a pretty old video, IF you're really interested in the city or at least some main highways around Toronto, here's a 2019 Toronto video: ua-cam.com/video/A41Fiz5Z4e4/v-deo.html
Have a great work week ahead.
@@ChrisRoadWarrior have you been to Northern Ontario like New Liskeard Timmins Sudbury North Bay and Sault Ste Marie and Thunder Bay before
@@sullysboy Only Sault Ste Marie Michigan USA.
Yeah the 1 hour from Sarnia to London is terrible haha but from that point on it's pretty ok, but in that part I've never seen any OPP's (thank god), but the MI side is pretty packed with State Troopers :/
Drive safe!
Im actuallyy moving to Toronto hopefully next year. Any reason you dont live there anymore?

Family in Houston, TX.
Plus very hard for a socially and fiscally conservative to live in a very liberal socialist environment.
Regardless where I live right now, I'm still Canadian with the right to vote in future federal elections.
Close to 25 years in T.O.
All the best in life.

+Chris RoadWarrior maybe not Toronto. what do you think of Vancouver?
getoffen
Never been to Vancouver, only Montreal as a major Canadian city.
But if you speak no French, just forget about it.
Regardless, where do you live right now, so I can compare your current location with anything similar in Canada.
And you wanna come here to study only or move permanently in case you have all paperwork taken care of.
thats the don valley parkway right?
That's correct.
Don Valley Parking lot.
The City more bigger
Well, it depends what you're looking for in your future life. Visiting is nice and relaxing but to start living permanently in a new place is a totally different ball game. Downtown Toronto looks pretty impressive BUT there are other things you gotta consider as well, for instance high taxes (13% ONT sales tax, 5% in AB) and high gas prices (lowest in AB as well) to pay for our own "ObamaCare" LOL, w/o very high taxes our socialized healthcare system would go busted right away.
Try Houston, TX.
VIDEO BLOCKED IN GERMANY, what a new surprise?! LOL
I'm thinking of moving to Toronto but I know that I'll hate it. so polluted.
Is it? Cause I've been here for 20+ years and see no pollution whatsoever.
Where do you live, cause your UA-cam channel is all blank.
***** Montreal. Which neighbourhoods do you recomand? I want to live near a park. (and a safe area) I want to leave because of the French.
***** I checked the coordinates. I can't tell on the map if there are parks...aside from Rouge park and the lake. but I guess you'd need a car.
Neta Manor Green on the map is all PARKS. Maybe ten parks around that particular GPS location.
But if you're not comfortable with Google Maps, here you have City of Toronto Parks listings:

***** Thx a lot!
Geraldo Magno You're very welcome. Drive safely.
