ngl this looks so much more chill than the uk junior doctor life
Lots of UK doctors move here cause they say the system here is much better!
So calming . Thank you !! 🤩
Thank you☺️☺️
one of a kind on youtube! awesome video. One thing i'd love to hear about is the process in AUS after med school -> junior doctor -> specialty training -> consultant. The process seems vastly different to AUS or the UK.
Hi, thank you! Yes I will do a video like that in the near future ☺️
Akki kindly give your opinion on this. Can IMGs get into surgery speciality after general registration in australia? Is there a barrier for IMGs to specialities??

Good inspirational video.can you tell about how to find a hospital job in Australia ?
Looks as though you work as a hematologist or some field in oncology. 3 Years ago, I underwent a BMT for 3 Blood malignances caused by radiation exposure in the Australian army. I had Acute Lymphoblastic Leukemia, Myelofibrosis, and shouldering Myeloma. I was under the care of Professor John Moore in St Vincents hospital Sydney, Remarkably I am free of all these malignancies.
Do you work in a Sydney Hospital? or Melbourne?
How u prepared for AMC?HAVE U. TAKEN ANY COACHING?
Beautiful ✨️
Please make a video on how IMG's can manage to get in the system im Australia. Thanks
Yes, definitely!
hi great vlog love it good luck in your career a question why do you insert the cannula it is the job of the nurses right
Sometimes nurses can’t so we do it instead :)
Hiya, off topic (kinda) but you are allowed to wear quarter or half length underscrubs in Australian hospitals? As far as I know, the NHS law of bare below elbow doesn't, (in the UK) so i was wondering if you can do that in Australia. Thanks, good luck for your future endeavors!
Hi, we can wear underscrubs if we're doing normal work, but not during procedures and we would take off our watches/bracelets as well :)
Lovely video❤
hi could you tell the how to get this job in Australia i am also planning to come in Australia for junior doc
Wow akki its so interesting . Please do more vlogs and I follow you on tik tok too for inspiration because my dream is also to be a doctor.

Hello dr.. are doctors always in charge of getting bloods or placing cannulas on patients?
Hi, not always, nurses can do it too, but it really depends on the hospital you work in :)
Is this Westmead precinct?
Hi , I am a but confused as to what one needs to study after the post grad Doctor of Medicine degree if one wants to more specialise in the filed . Is Doctor of Medicine in Australia equivalent to MBBs in india ?
Hi, MBBS and MD are both recognised in Australia, but you will need to do AMC exams if you are an IMG
You're such an inspiration!
Thank you
hello dr..would u like to tell me what kind of work u are doing there..

Hi, you can try applying for an undergraduate degree in science and applying to medicine post grad, have a look at what universities offer cause I’m sure there are options 😊
The 'jingle' or music in the background, makes it really a lot more difficult to try and understand your dialogue: Maybe this fact might be of some help to you.
Hello
Relly loved the vlog
Thank you🥰
Well organised health system....what we will never have in Bangladesh...
It is quite well organised here, unfortunately most third world countries don’t have the same facilities 😢

Hi, yes it should be possible to do medicine, but it will depend on if you want to do medicine as an undergrad or post grad degree, entry requirements differ
Just same how we work in UK
Loved the video but Plzzzz lower the background music ❤
Doctors have to do the cannula? Nurses don’t do that?
Yes majority of the time where I worked in Sydney, less in Melbourne but we still do
I was born in that hospital 😊

Australian hospital looks so sterile.. my hospital in malaysia is like a toilet lol also your working hours start at 8 and ends at 5?? What kind of heaven is this 😢 my 6am -10pm shift could never.... even if we have a 6am til 5pm shift we veryy rarely can go back on time.. so mny issues come up at 4.30 or even 4.55 🙄
Which hospital is this?
This is in NSW, Australia

Hi dear...nice video...I am a paediatrician working in india... interested to shift to Australia...how's job fr specialist there...wats ur opinion about tat..
Hi, I think working in Australia is great but I would suggest you look into the pathway to enter paediatrics as an international trainee😊
I just saw few comments and realised that She is not going to reply on amc question 😂
Hi, I need to make sure I do my research on this topic before I reply to the comments, I’m hoping to make a video soon addressing all the questions about AMC :)
What's the salary of junior doctor in Australia?
I will address this in a video where I’ll talk about our salaries in detail 😊
@@amaaaanya thank you ❤️
Your mbbs from which country sister
From Australia 😊
Hi
Nice vlog are you Indian
Thank you 😊 I’m Sri Lankan!
I hope this message finds you well. I hold a Bachelor's degree in Homoeopathic Medicine & Surgery, along with additional diplomas in Naturopathy and Yogic Science, Cosmetology, Trichology, Skin Aesthetics, and Laser. I bring with me four years of experience as a Residential Medical Officer in India, coupled with experience as a General Practitioner in a clinic setting.
I am currently exploring opportunities to further enhance my medical qualifications and skills in Perth. I was looking for aphra but it is only for MBBS.I would greatly appreciate your guidance on suitable courses or programs that would allow me to re-enter the medical profession as a doctor. My goal is to contribute effectively to the healthcare sector in Perth, building on my diverse background and expertise.
Your insights and recommendations on relevant courses, certifications, or any other steps I should consider would be invaluable as I embark on this next phase of my medical career.
Thank you for your time and assistance. I look forward to hearing from you soon.
Hi, unfortunately I'm not too sure about this, maybe you can directly speak to AHPRA to get some further assistance, apologies that I can't be of much help. Hope you can figure it out, good luck :)

Thank you☺️
I am so glad that you don't even have 1K subscriber.
