I’ve been an MA for a year now and also make videos too! You’re lucky you guys got to practice on each other! When I was in school we had to practice of dummies which made it so hard when we went out into the field!
I'm a cardiac RN, hopefully I'm able to give you a little helpful hint when it comes to EKG placement. Just remember, starting from your right to left it's: smoke over fire, clouds over grass and dirt in the middle. so black over red, white over green. even after two years, I still say it in my head lol 😆
Lol. I was a patient tech for three years and currently a nurse for four years and I STILL use that. But I use chocolate in the middle because everyone body loves chocolate.

@@alia640 sure so when I first started we did sections like ekgs, phlebotomy,and administration. We took quizzes on each section and took test. We did clinicals like take blood in each other , learned how to dip urine. Take weight, blood pressure and eye exam. At the end of the program we took our big test. I studied a lot for that test and I passed it.
You've literally become my favorite UA-camr. I don't even get excited when other people post videos anymore because I just wait for yours! Love you and Blake!!

Not a teen mom (kudos to y’all), but a solo mom and DV survivor, I’m going back to school for medical assistant, now my son’s in preschool and has full days. Unlike you, I have no one to help me with my son, but Ik I can do this. ☺️
I’m a certified nursing assistant I work at a hospital I got all tht training at the hospital when I got hired paid training. in regular cna school they dnt teach us that I’m still in training have 7 weeks of on the floor training they teaching is ekgs n drawing blood etc same thing your learning I’m nervous to

@@japrkia19 I experimented with psychedelic medicine and am making a full recovery from the movement disorder that put me in the hospital. Now I want absolutely nothing to do with western healthcare that kept me sick for years 😃 Next move will likely be to get personal training certs... fitness I definitely still believe in 😉

@japrkia19 honestly I dropped out. It's too hard for me to focus online I need to go in person because I'm at home and I have 4 kids and they are still babies so they are always bothering me and needing me every minute 🥺
I completely understand that; I'm a in-person learner as well. Dont give up though those babies going to be so proud of you.
