There was no way I thought those harmonies were going to work! But my god, what a result! 👍
Best breakdown and replication Ive seen done. Great fun.
Gotta love Queen harmonies. Nice breakdown man
Thanks dude!
That was fun! Thanks for sharing!!!👏👏👏👏
Awesome job here!!!
Great video. thank you for sharing!
Nice work!!!
Thanks for the video. Very helpful, and you have some great pipes and a great ear!
Thanks! Glad it helped you!
There was no harmony above the melody line in the Queen recording. It sounds ok when added though (an exercise in music theory). It’s all good.
😊
Just listened again and I feel like I hear a voice above the lead low in the mix. Hard to tell though and could be my ears playing tricks on me. Also they often sang in four parts so it made sense to me but could just be me making it up lol
There was a live performance they did and there was certainly a prevalent high Soprano part
Very Cool !! Thanks to share !!
You are of course totally right....that IS cool... 😁👍
You are very impressive. No doubt from watching your videos that you are your biggest fan.
Amazing ear, man!
97,5-99,4 % nailed 👍🏼
Awesome brother. I was working this out myself to cover this song. I think the lower note choices in the low/mid parts are awesome. May seem like nitpicking but might interest you since you spent some time on this. In the original, I hear the phrase "Fat Bottom Girls" being F-F-F-F# (as opposed to E-E-F-F#). I see you did that chromatic walk up with the harmony voices too but I don't hear that in the original. I mean, all your voices are doing it so it works fine. In the original, I think all the voices are raised (so, literally singing the straight C# chord: G#-C#-F) Anyway, great stuff and I am so sending this to my bandmates to learn their parts.
Btw, we are foregoing the high 5th harmony. I don't hear it too much really but also nobody wants to sing that, lol.
Thanks so much man! And yes, good ear. It was a while ago that I recorded all of this but I'm pretty sure I just did that because I liked it lol. I think the actual song does what you said.
Really nice! Would you be able to break down what the first note is for each voice part?
I actually did here in this video ua-cam.com/users/shortscciF8x_ZDs8?feature=share
