I don't know whether this recording was taken directly from live TV or post-produced, but the lack of energy that someone was complaining about is mainly due to a bad audio mix. Everything that can be wrong is actually wrong: vocals too loud, too much reverb, drums with totally no punch, bass guitar super loud but with a totally flat sound, guitar (and we're talking of Brian May's sound...) without any grit. I think the performance in itself is amazing, though.
P.S. my dad was a Prisoner Of War for more than 5 years and then, he STILL gave up more than half of his life fighting for "The American Rights and Freedoms." My dad broke down all kinds of barriers and the odds of survival. He said, "for him, dying was not an option." He retired as the highest ranking Colonel in the U.S. Air Force to finally be with my mom and his entire family. Even after retiring, he still continued to fight for "The American Rights and Freedoms" until my dad's last breath! I know my loving dad did NOT die in vein.

I'm missing something. I don't feel any energy or passion as they go thru the songs. it doesn't feel like Queen. it doesn't look like Queen. it doesn't sound like Queen. Adam is a doll with as great voice, but he falls short being the lead singer for Queen.

You the sad thing about this is that Adam has a great voice, is a great singer, but he is just not even close to the level Marc Martel is and to me just does not do justice to any of the songs. But to each their own.

In my opinion, Marc - another enormous talent - should be with the band if they want it to sound like Queen, and maybe keep recording new material.

Nobody can replace Freddie,not even this Adam,yes he sings well,but Freddie’s voice is more.....harmonious,it sounds more like an opera
On the contrary, I find Adam’s voice much more harmonious and melodic and his notes flow more easily and freely. Freddie’s notes seemed more abrupt.
