Me too, sat next to the record player with the big headphones on. I was 8 in 1978 when I started listening to them, I'm 48 now. I actually spent my life into dance music, but I put my musical grounding and its diversity I put down to listening to Queen. The best grounding in music any kid could have.

I was wearing my short shorts one day. I've always been insecure that I had a pretty big bottom and legs even though I'm hella skinny on top. So, I was feeling insecure but trying to over come my fear. I got in the car and the radio station blared this song!! It made it feel so good and confident in my little shorts. No one knew, or cared that it took so much courage for me to wear my little shorts but I knew and this song made me feel like a goddess that day!

I was singing along to this the other day, and my dad said I was singing "nicely". I've been a Queen fan for about 14/15 years, and I love them so much. Freddie was so "Fab", Brian is still "Brilliant", Roger is still "Radiant", and Deacy is still "Dynamic". Thank you dad for introducing me to Queen. I didn't know any of their songs, but I'd heard of them. My love for Queen will never die.
