  • Ah… another day in paradise where I want to smash my head into the wall because of a book I’m, despite popular belief, very excited about writing.

Killing almost all of your character's parents in the first three minutes is so reallll

I actually love your handwriting 😭 also your writing process is so real because I cannot wrap my head around where I was even going with my last chapter

I think a lot of people could relate to the free-to-play vs the battle pass magic system. Hope the writing goes well!

ok, so i stumbled upon your videos to search for motivation to write but just gotta mention, your videos are so relatable!! i always have my ending figured out too, and most of my ideas are organised (ok, some of it) but i somehow struggle with the middle. i get stressed and i write a lot of non-coherent sentences. i sometimes wish i had dreams of being something else instead of a writer because of how tough it is to be one. and i doubt so damn much whether i'm up for it or not, whether i will be having a published book or not.
most of writertube is filled with videos that show the rosy side of writing a book [which HAS motivated me but also dampened my spirits because am I the only one having a problem with my writing?!] but watching your video, showing how much you yourself struggle with writing kinda helped. thank you, honestly. i hope all of us writers who are struggling, reach the end of the tunnel and rejoice the struggles we all went through!!

I think a lot of writer's struggle with the middle part (I am no stranger to that feeling). In fact, I stopped working on my WIP for a year because I couldn't deal with the middle. I had to scrap most of my writing a re-start a lot of my project because the sheer amount of plotholes stopped me from even opening the doc again. I think something that might help you get through the middle is focussing on ways to get the plot to progress/ pushing it to the plot twist and ending you have planned. Another thing I might suggest is to grow the peripheral characters, relationships and subplots during that middle part. Hope this helps!

As a fantasy writer myself, I feel SO SEEN! The way you talk about your magic system is exactly how I talk about mine. Like, "do I know what I'm doing? Absolutely not. Shut the heck up." 😂

After your first writing video, I decided to write literally whatever came to mind because I’ve been stuck on character cheats for like the past four months. I’ve gotten the most progress done in an hour I’ve ever gotten so thank you

Handwriting schmandwriting that's what technology is for. Or maybe it's cope because I also write like shit. Who knows. But I do know that this has more substance than some of my unfinshed projects. So keep up the good work.

You've pulled me in because i want to know what the villains motivations are? Why does she just go stabby stabby fire burn on everyone? And why am i already attracted to her?
