The variant of the Carnival with 11 seats is actually called the Grand Carnival. Unfortunately, it is not yet available in the United States.

@@juicyj1188 My guess is that the 4th row seat, being so close to the back of the van, probably doesn't pass our safety/crash standards? Also, doesn't all seats have to have 3 point belts in the US? -- so the middle seat 2-point belts won't work either? Such a cool idea to have a 4th row minivan, though!

Who is this car for? It looks like there is zero leg room in the 4th row. There is no trunk. And, getting everyone in and out would be a project. If you need all those seats, might as well get a full size van.
It's not for the NA market.
It's because this is the South Korean version with one too many rows...but go to your nearest Kia dealer for a original 8-seater.

4th row should be split 60/40 to allow for some storage + easy entry exit for 1-2 in the back.

Sort of a good idea. The same logic of having a school bus that way with affordable seats down. And I kept it in the back leaves to go pee. And you have to fold on the seats to get them.

Only problem is the "assist seats" in the middle of the 2nd and 3rd row is that they only have a 2 point lap belt not a full 3 point seat belt. And the back row only folds as one piece meaning you don't have the option to leave 1 of the back seats up like you can in a vauxhall zafira

What is the price for a Kia Carnival 11 seater automatic 2021 model iny the UK. Also a new one NOT a pre-owned one.
This looks amazingly innovative but doesnt look to have much legroom if you are carrying 11 people. Maybe it's for 6 adults and 5 children maybe.
I have 4 adults and 3 kids. A minivan is not even enough when 5 more persons of mine coming in the next few years!

I am in the market for a new Minivan, but Kia has no info on what they are going to so in the US. So I am probably going to buy a Odyssey or Pacifica within the next 2 months. I am trying to hold out until I see more details on the Carnival.
I'm with ya, Chris. I've reached out to dealerships who don't even know this trim level exists. The market for this wouldn't be huge, but it would easily overtake other big van or suburban vehicle options. Here's hoping it does come here soon

That's crap. A car for 11 gnomes or what? Even in 3-row configuration there is not enough space. They need to make 6 rows, 2 more on the ceiling with seats upside down, people would hang there like bats 👍👍👍

Great video!. 4 minutes of rambling on and on and on about levers and bars and folding and shoving to jam 11 people into a cramped cabin and turn the whole thing into a death trap. Rear passengers have no good way to exit in case of an accident. Imagine an impact which jams the one side door, and the car is on fire. Enjoy burning to death. If this is the future, it's not a dream, it's a nightmare!

This is pretty cool but it would be nice if the cup holders in the middle seats could fold up so you could use them when someone is sitting there. I don’t know if you can but they didn’t mention it so I’m assuming they don’t.

@@clemaloy6269 In my country, Kia only sells this 11-seater variation for better tax. (In Thailand, car price is doubled or even tripled due to tax) So, I have no choice but to get this variation instead of the 9-seater.

@@muhammad1chsan That's because in Indonesia, cars with 10-15 seats only taxed 10% compared to Innova which was taxed 20%, despite the Sedona has a bigger engine than the Innova. Only the Sedona and the H-1 got this type of tax in Indonesia.

My understanding is that they will only offer 7 seater in the US. So from this video, it seems like the assist seat (which is really a neat feature of the van) will not be an option.

Hello, Bought 11seater from Korea, but faced an issue with speed limit of 110 km/h. This is a local legislation in Korea, but I have exported out this car, now no one can't take this limit off and its really annoying on the highway. May be @kiaofficial can help to sort this out?

Actually, I did tried to ask local official Kia dealer to help, but they responded they can't help me as this car was imported from Korea. So now I am trying to get help from you @kiaworldwideofficial, can you help me please to take out the speed limit? I am sure that there should be some onboard computer adjustments that can help local dealer to sort this out.
