Oh the web we weave that is called wet shaving. The search for the holy grail of the perfect shave. The money that we spend to achieve BBS. I've been shaving this way for 19 years and nowhere near the grail. It's a pleasure watching you having a great time. Don't ever change. Rock on bro.
My shave den consists of two very small drawers in my bathroom. Got enough soap to last 2 years; enough blades to last me 4 1/2 years, a razor to last me a lifetime, a solid marble lathering bowl to last a lifetime, 1 shaving brush to last me likely 5-10 years, and a couple of alum blocks. I will be adding 1 more razor to my den for my birthday in March, bringing my razor collection to 2. Almost forgot - got enough pre-shave to last likely 2-3 years and enough after shave balm to last me about 3 months.
What I like about you Kevvy is you are not a product snob, i mean you are not afraid to use and review basics from superdrug or primark even omg, good work man.
Hi Kevy- Great shave and soap/brush review; thank you! The PAA products are always quite nice. Good to hear that life is slowly returning to normal for you. I hope you have a great weekend ahead. Take good care and be safe and be well. Best regards, as always, Kevy!
Very nice shave I’m sold on the Blackbird. Agreed it’s very beautifully crafted & it even sounded aggressive. Now, I’m even more interested in you’re bathroom elevator very superb and it goes sideways, I want one of those 😳😂 Why are videos are special? you’re personality one Isco a kind people are just drawn to you, you’re funny, you do silly stuff during you’re videos that makes us smile, you’re trustworthy and honest with you’re reviews. You’re one of a kind, lastly we like you! Keep it up Kevy
So Kevy, the R41 finally arrived here in Canada. I've been using it for about a week now with the advice you were kind enough to share with me about going slow and letting the weight of the razor do the work. No issues and I love it! It's become my daily driver.
Morning Kevy. Love the PAA products. I don't squeeze that much water out of my brush when using the CK6 soaps. They load up pretty good on the brush. Also beautiful razor. Such a nice shave. Enjoy your day....
This was a first rate, relaxing shave. The lather building gave your face the necessary massage to circulate blood to the surface and promote a relaxing experience. I really enjoyed the extra time you took. It is the proper manner to enjoy wet shaving. Not to mention it also put the new brush through some paces. I have come to admire the Blackbird every time I see it. It has caused me conflict with the Carbon CX-316L. I concur that the ATG pass was singing a chorus of audio feedback! But I digress. Cedrat is hard to beat. I believe you've had it longer than 3 years to be honest. That show go on my wish list as I write this. That vintage Perma-Sharp complete this winning pairing of gear. I would like to see how it fares in the Rocca, and the Carbon. I imagine it will shake your foundations. Stay safe, and keep your Mrs, and RIley healthy.
Two chests of drawers full of stuff? Can I be a beneficiary in your will please Kevy? Just a soap, brush and a razor. I'm not greedy. I've got the Blackbird too - absolutely love it!
Terrific shave video Kevy, could not stop laughing when you spoke about the drawers....I remember when I filled up my first few shelves and my wife was like, just get a drawer chest. I think I might need another one now. ;)
I'm going through a soap phase. Bought 5 in the last week! I have a feeling I'll be going back to razors now that the antique stores are opening back up.
Love your shaves, even if I don’t learn any thing you make me laugh. I just did a quick search on the internet, just as I thought, summer in Scotland is still a myth, I live in Saskatchewan, we get 10 mounths of winter & two mounths of poor curling.
You've got so many followers because you're fun to watch and I learn at the same time. I've been looking for a 24 mm synthetic brush and think the Starcraft would be a good choice, thanks for the review. Your jokes remind me of Craig Ferguson, my favorite comedian over here.
Man that razor looks like you could drive it somewhere. I’m in a phase of buying everything, having just got back into it. I’ve slowed down on razors though- it feels like I can easily end up with something too aggressive. These days I’m really enjoying my Captain’s Choice Nor’easter soap and proraso green. Great shave today!
Hello Kevy, my name's Aleks and I've got a soap, razor, frag, fountain pen and ink addiction. (This is when you tell me I'm welcome) 😬😅 Great shave my friend! That razor is always a treat to use for sure!

Hi Kevy, that looked a really nice shave. I was looking a both of the brushes today. The Starcraft one when I was ordering some soaps from PAA. I was going to get the Trafalgar T2 next week but after seeing the StarCraft in action you just may have changed my mind. And the razor looks great too, not a cheap razor though but you get what you pay for I guess. great video my friend you and Mrs P have a great weekend :-)
Great shave Kevy. Heard a lot about that razor in our German FB group. Looks really cool! Is it like the Vector in terms of aggressiveness, smoothness and efficiency? Brush looks nice too. At brushes i am in a phase now where i don't buy. I have a couple of boar, Synthetics and badger. every of that works great. Really. I love them. Don't have the feeling i need more now. Razors and Soaps i buy more, here and there... Why your channel is special? It's not the studio in California, it's that actor in the set! Personality and humour is amazing! Great video, as always, my friend. And the PAA stuff is top notch in my book. I don't think there's another vegan soap out there that can compare with their CK-6 formula. Have a great weekend!
Good stuff, Kevy! The Blackbird is one of my top shavers. Once you get used to it, the efficiency is almost addictive. As you were loading soap into the brush I was thinking you would be adding h2o for days! The dunk of the whole knot probably saved you hours. 😉 I immediately thought "Charlie and the Chocolate Factory" when you said horizontal elevator. 😁 Cheers! -Rob

hEY Kevy, summer in Scotland, haha, rain that's not so cold. A bit............maybe. We like you 'cause you're a nutter.
I want like to write something witty and interesting but on this occasion: I got nuthin(I've always wanted to say that)'...I am in a location that is a "Hot Spot" and back under a stay home order...Plus, still furloughed from work...So have nothing to add to party..Oh well...Adios.
