However, their patience has certain limitations, especially when they have had enough abuse.

All you're demonstrating is that so called Empaths are the same as everyone else. True Empaths don't hold back, shut people out, refuse to help people, be abusive and call it "mirroring", etc etc etc. They also don't call themselves Empaths for clout and admiration. You are describing a vindictive person, that's all. This Empath scam is pathetic. The worst most f'd up dangerous people I know call themselves Empaths.

@@karenblum6185 it the gift that only feels like a curse because you are around a bunch of vampires feeding off your light. Don't feel bad about cutting people off. Do i instantly and surround yourself with people such as yourself as soon as you are able. The others will never learn from their mistakes. You can't fix them but you can fix YOU.
Funny thing about getting rid of a bunch of people aka problems. As soon as you drop them suddenly YOU FLOAT TO THE TOP. The weights and heavy are lifted off your back off your heart and off your soul. All at once. And PEACE, TRANQUILITY, BALANCE hits your life. Then you have time to focus on you, fix yourself because we are self healers. And things will immediately get better.
See THOSE PEOPLE will continue to make the same mistakes OVER AND OVER AND OVER AND OVER AGAIN. They never learn. 20 years can go by and those Same people are STILL DOING THE SAME THING. Let them go live their lives and you do the same.
I had to learn this a long time ago and I LEFT. I joined the military and got away from them completely and I live on the other side of the country and only visit when I WANT TO.
Sadly Strangers will appreciate you more than flesh and blood.i have a saying. Not all flesh and blood are FAMILY and not all FAMILY is FLESH and blood. Your family are those who support you, surround you, there for you when you need them, through the good times and the not so good times. 5hose who laugh when you do, and cry when you do and can make you laugh when you want to cry, and cry from happiness because they knew how to get you through whatever it is you were going through. Those other people are selfish light vampires and happiness sponges. Where ever they go, they SOAK the happiness right out of the area 🤔 they go. AVOID THOSE PEOPLE AT ALL COST.
Take a step back and see who's actually concerned about you, and not what you can do for them. Separate the users and the a users from those that really matter and then set your boundaries. User's and abusers, dump them completely. You don't have to be accommodating, or please everyone. Stand up for yourself and if anyone has a problem with that then they are someone you should eliminate from your life.
Those that support you you allow on a case by case basis. Once you get this down you will begin to be at YOUR NATURAL peaceful, loving and empathic state.
We have a higher purpose than the rest of them. We are light workers. Ment to fight against the ultimate evil. We were chosen to be born now at a time of great peril and darkness. The final battle for good and evil is upon us. Wicked rulers seek to enslave and zero carbon life humanity. We must stop them.
When the heart's of men grow cold. Its us empaths who have enough love and hope to save the world. Its us that can awaken humanity's souls and hearts from their own darkness. But we must be strong within ourselves. And with the creator. He gives us direction. Let him lead you to you higher purpose. Let his will be your will and you will instead of feeling all the negative and hurt and feeling like a curse absorbing everyone else's emotions overwhelming you. Sickening you, dimming you. You will instead EXUDE AND PROJECT YOUR OWN EMOTIONS AND RADIATE YOUR SOUL OUT AROUND YOU like force field and beacon. Driving away vampires and evil currupt people will flee from you once you attain you full potential. And you will be able to use your abilities to help and to heal those who need it, and to give counsel to those who seek wisdom and answers.
You have to be strong and seclude, and isolate yourself from those things that bring you negativity and unhappiness. And surround yourself with true friends and family and people like yourself healers and givers of light.
To the rest of them fuck em. Lolol let them figure it out without you.

I am sure you have met many without realising it. I believe a true empath is capable of analytic thought, and is therefore able to compartmentalize things/people/events that warrant consideration or not. Then there is the perhaps/maybe situation. This will take time and a little more thought. But you will be unscathed because of your ability to either store, act upon, or dismiss as you see fit. Never, ever forget the key, intuition. Never question it. As long as it doesn't mean any danger, trust it!!!

Unfortunately most empath support groups get swamped by fake-empaths, either narcissists looking for prey as a “funny joke,” or people who think that being a people-pleaser and abuse-enabler makes them empathic when they often have little heart for truly loving and healthy people. It’s pretty lonely trying to find others like ourselves.

I'm now onto phase two which is to get a new number and only check my main phone number once at the end of each day. Don't mess with empaths

    • @user-eu3qy8uf7f
      @user-eu3qy8uf7f 11 місяців тому +36

Well you are preaching to the choir. The same thing happened with me. I was 37 when one July day in 1991 I snapped, almost strangled my sibling to death. I left and cut the whole family off for 25 years. No contact. NONE.
Years later Spirit demanded I go back. I resisted. In 2015 I got really sick. The closeness of death made me comply.
Here's the deep part. Narcissists DO NOT change. Everybody in the family made nice for three years. In 2019 my youngest sister who I had tried to strangle when I snapped in 1991 reverted to type by trying to gaslight my sister Kathy into believing I slandered her. I remained calm. From then till 2021 she kept up a campaign of constantly trying put downs, bellitling-the usual shtick when I would visit. Didnt work. Two days after Christmas there was a little group assembled.
Suddenly everyone's mask dropped or slipped-especially my youngest sister. I could SEE how truly evil she was and still is.
That inner demon in her recognized my insight and tried to ďrop a cover over her but again it failed. It also showed her as the ringleader and I could SEE the threads and webs she weaved in other lives as well.
The others DID NOT know they were showing themselves.
I did reconcile with the other sister but it took a year with her to realize she had been manipulated and gaslighted to once again destroy our relationship-just because of sheer narcissitic evil. Did another year of alienation because of Normas mad evil manipulation.
I flew back to California and realized Spirit sent me back to SEE who they really are and why I had to leave in the first place-
NOT to reconcile. There can be NO reconciliation with EVIL.
When I left the first time I was too young and inexperienced to KNOW and SEE them and understand that type of evil or evil in general and certainly didn't expect it in my own birth family.
But years of meditation, prayer, yoga and spiritual study opened the third eye of discernment.
My sister Norma is truly evil and so are most of my birth family and the family she married into.
I wish you well in your new life without those we are taught and conditioned are supposed to love and nurture us. A lot of time it just ain't so.
And remember a scripture says a mans enemies will be those of his own household. Matthew 10:36.

I just broke contact with a toxic sister again after being denied the right to choose my own preferred spot for a grave in a Naturecemetery and being accused i had an oitbursr, whilst she had, i remained calm and assertive. She then said vile things to my oldest sister that i overheard, which triggered me into a fullblown traumastate. Emergency consult with homeopath released so much heartbreak i feared a heartattack. Now calmer. Be strong, be brave.

I am an empath. It took 67 years just to hear about this and the role narcissists play. I had a narcissist mother and a narcissist husband. All those things have happened to me. I crashed and had to pick myself up. That’s when I found my boundaries and started taking care of me.
I write to warn the young empaths out there to research this like your life depends on it, because it does.
Find out all about how narcissists act and believe it, especially if you choose to date one or be friends with one. Boundaries are necessary and a line in the sand that says, “that’s too much.” It will help.

You seem right on target. The biggest challenge comes when the narcissistic husband gets a incurable diagnosis and the empath stays until the end. Although it's rare, getting an apology or confession of inappropriate behaviors can happen on the narcissists' death bed. In some ways it's a relief in other ways it's almost like a final jab from the narc. Almost as if he was saying "yes I hurt you but you were foolish enough to stay all these years, so it's not all my fault. You abused yourself."
Ugh, it's hard to swallow your anger when he's on his last breath. But what else would an empath do?
It's taken years, but I've slowly regained my footing & feelings.

I left home as soon as I could very angry & confused. Immature & trusting knowone I struggled for years. But I helped others as a 'need' to do so,yet despising myself for the compulsion!
Eventually maturity, rational & thinking befriending other empathic folk sorted me out. I became a professional Care giver.
I try to be a compassionate person to all. Its the best of me & I'm grateful for it. But when I'm confronted by a Narcissist I can be as ruthless & cruel as they are & what scares me is that I enjoy it !

This video is honestly accurate. As an empath, I've dealt with a lot of bullshit because I wanted to help people because I genuinely cared about them and even wanted to be their friend. Unfortunately, from experience there are more cruel people than kind people. I've been hurt so many times by so many others and it got me to the point where I don't even want friends (because I don't trust people and I don't feel happy around others as much anymore) and I'm trying to force myself to not give a fuck about others. I want to care, I really do, but after constant abuse that has made me develop various persisting mental/emotional disorders, I'm done. I didn't want this bullshit. Only I wanted to be kind to people and have that kindness returned. People are assholes. Fuck them.

Don't give up on people, but learn to stop enmeshing yourself into EVERY stranger's problems, you know? Apathy is abusive in a normal person's hands, but it's a life saving tool in the hands of an empath. Example I have been married to my husband for forty two years for those forty two years his younger siblings have tried to annoy and bully me and others his younger sister. Refuses. To treat me or her nieces. Like family ! Well one day she was rude again with our daughter walk by our daughter like she did not exist and this shit has gone on for forty two years ! Well my daughter told her Aunt she was done that there would be no more abuse and she would not bother. Her anymore ! Which after Forty two years and her doing the ignorant behaviour of acting like we are not that important to her , I blew up and told her what I thought of her and her brother who were two of the biggest narcissists and find it necessary to constantly abuse ! But same thing I would write letters and not send go over things in my mind But when your mind finally says enough it explodes ! And it actually felt so good to say what I had to say but than being a empath I all ways feel guilty for losing my temper but I have allowed my self to get angry and I actually feel better ! I love my husband but I told him for my own mental health I can not see his family anymore. And he is fine with this because he is a empath also and he has had his own issues with his family

This the most common thing that could have happened. If you speak out about narcissist and expose him for being a narcissist, they will manipulate you into feeling like you are the one to blame. A mind perfectly designed and accustomed to feed on other people’s energy will remain this way in the name of survival, unless they do something about it themselves, which is super difficult, since they’re trapped like an addict in that pattern. Just leave, as an empath you are narcissist’s food. Don’t be. It is on them to seek help and finally face the reality of their true self, it is on them, not on you.

Yes! This never gets spoken about. I had a very complicated childhood, and had to learn to be an empath to feel remotely safe. The love that I did experience touched me to the core, shaped who i am today, and made me see the value in being an empath as well. That being said, I later found something out about myself that no one likes to acknowledge, but to heal we have to confront these things so I'll be honest. An empath in the extreme is a people pleaser and feels safe and satisfied when the people around them are safe and satisfied. That being said, when they are pushed to the edge, deep inside the reciprocal can grow as well. I discovered that in the same sense that I love giving to and loving those I love, unfortunately i also deeply enjoy hurting those that I hate, which true hatred for me has only truly arose a few times in my life, but it feels the exact same, and just as intensely pleasurable as loving those i love. For the record, I don't pursue these feelings, and know they're wrong, but in the moment they can be very convincing. I didn't realize how perfectly mirrored and inseparably dichotomous the psychology of it was, but if you think about it abstractly, it only makes sense. I was made this way by sadists, and even though what became consciously expressed was positive empathy, i think i got bit by the bug too... Broken people make broken people. I'm old enough to understand this and break the curse, and you can too. Please don't be hard on yourself if you feel this too. This wasn't your fault, and the hand you are dealt doesn't have to determine how you play the game. Follow Love, and overcome ❤

Too accurate. I became a social worker because of my empathetic nature. I became a sarcastic bitter mess because of being in a personal romantic relationship with a narcissist. It severely impacted my abilities as a social worker for a time and I nearly gave up social work because of the empathic burnout my romantic relationship caused left no room for me to bring empathy to the relationships with my clients. So I finally had enough, got angry about my personal life, exploded about the abuse, let go of he relationship and took back my life and ability to help others. I'm calmer and happier, more at peace than I have been in a long time since I put myself first for once. I've gotten better at forming a balance between helping others with my empathy and taking the time to recharge myself.

What really sucks is when you've spent much time with this individual and have come to know them on a level few have. Knowing that makes it hard to break away because it made you feel as if you made some headway. But after some time you wake up and realize the relationship is one sided.. I am not in the habit of thinking "what have you done for me?" Then on top of that, you notice that they are no longer putting any effort into YOU at all anymore, just taking you for granted 😢... Then yes, I got pissed off and acted in a way that I didn't realize I was capable of. I didn't like that me. So again, I became an open book but no time was spent by my abuser to care to even listen to what i was trying to share.
If you see these signs, RUN. Run before it's even harder to break away and you find yourself down on their level acting like a child. How distasteful!

After a lifetime of narcissistic abuse, I finally snapped, lost patience, and left. That’s what this empath did. No bitterness or sarcasm for me, I will not go down that road to self abandonment. I turned inward and got clear that I need me, if I give, it will be with careful discernment from now on.

So very true and I am going through the recovery process now. I knew I had to withdraw because I started to hate people and being around them. So time for me to meditate and take time out for myself. Self love 💕 is a beautiful thing.

    This hits HOME. 🎯
A lot of us suffer from depression as well, it's kind of a package deal with those of us who have extra sensitivities.
Gotta get your boundaries for those Energy Vampires out there!!
If something feels too much or uncomfortable in ANY way, SAY NO & value yourself, EV's are EVERYWHERE!!
Blessings, Peace & Love to you all! ✌🏻💗

It is funny to hear someone else call them that. I always call them energy vampires. 😢
Because that is exactly what they do. They suck the energy right out of you and drain it all if you are not careful.
I try to avoid those people and situations at all costs.

This is correct. I'm proud of myself for being an empathy, even though it's hard. I was beaten for years, I spoke my truth but I left the abusers in a better place and never tried to destroy them. I think Grace is the ultimate teacher.

If you want to prove to yourself that you are going to be a narcissist
    1. When you become over reactive try to be conscious that there are no things in this world to become over reactive. It just means we are into the clutches of negative vibrations. Just knowing it helps to overcome it.
    2. Dont do anything when asked to do which morally doesnt fit .
This way good side prevails over lower category.
    3. Try to bring strength and speak out yourself when required and not through others.

This is so true, I thought I was becoming a bad person and heartless. I was so empathic towards everyone. But i didn’t realize that I have suffered with narcissistic abuse in my life and when you said “they turn off their light “ & “they start prioritizing their own feelings”
It explained EXACTLY how I was feeling. Every things you said in this video is true. I’m not a bad person I’m just caring for myself for once

When I went through that, I was told by the person being narcissistic that "I've cut off my empathy." You don't wanna be horrible back but you also have to allow yourself to not feel so hurt, protect yourself etc, again it's probably a balance.

This is so true! For the empaths I've crossed paths with so far thank you for being there. I've been struggling even before I knew what an empath was. Once, I learned how to shield and protect is when I started to be more selective on who I try to help. And yes, I've finally reached the "I DON'T CARE" phase. I still help and try to comfort when I know it worth bombing the brick wall. Sometimes even, I find one that I can even open up to and relax in return. Little advice: Pay attention to the energy around you. You'll know when it is worth the time and effort to speak up. If they don't listen WALK AWAY.

I certainly have learned my limitations with people whom abuse me, especially when I have gone to the ends of the earth to help others..I am in the phase of turning the care I've given to others onto myself. Yes if ever I've exploded it shocks others. The very same others we have over the years had exploit us thinking we are soft...wrong and a big mistake our abusers make is to challenge us, at the end of the day we are super sensitive human beings whom are deeply misunderstood by others...that's when life gets real and we see the real and ugly side of others and their true nature's. Then the very same people cut up nasty when they have tried to get the better of us. These people must remember we are not the ones with hidden agendas, they are ...❤

I am going thru this now... I cant take it anymore. I know I am turning off my emotions and it conflicts within myself. But I am trying to protect myself from the people I love who are just draining me inside. I am definitely giving back what I am getting. I am also staying quiet and this is getting their attention more than me treating them as they are treating me. They don't deserve my words anymore, as my words are the most precious thing I have and can control. Silence is golden.

I'm an empath who grew up with narcissistic parents. Who abused me in multiple ways, and me having multiple mood and emotional disorder didn't/doesn't help. In fact, I feel like my past traumatic experiences still play a part in how I react in certain situations.😢
