Just wanted to say thank you for all the thorough testing. Your honestly in the videos really comes through. Not sure how you feel about it, but I personally would like to see Tw seal and shine against entry level ceramic coatings as I think seal and shine will at least hold its own in That fight. Regardless, keep up the great vids.
sometimes it isn't always about protection. some people want gloss especially when it isn't in the crappy north east winters. im happy that you are comparing more than just protection. keep up the good work.
That kind of doesn't make sense. It's actually all about the protection. That's why most of these products even exist to begin with. If they offered no protection I doubt hardly anyone would buy it. And without a gloss meter the differences in gloss range from no noticeable difference to marginally noticeable difference to the naked eye. All the gloss meter does is quantify it for us. But We all have our prefernces and opinions I suppose
@@davidmorales7371 not really. they all protect to some level. some more than others. some people may want something that shows off the depth and gloss of the paint. and others may choose protection above that.
Ashish Patel You are right and what is not tested here, but is tested on some other channels is how the surface performs in real world on a car. Some products attract dirt way more than others and are therefore not recommended. Who uses harsh chemicals doing a maintenance wash, is another point? Wintertime is when that counts, if you have any. Good work on this channel but remember to be careful out there! ;)
I agree, Ashish. I choose products with durable protection for my daily driver. However, my Z06 is a warm weather weekend toy. It is protected with good carnauba wax instead of sealants. And I top the Collinite 845 wax application with P&S Bead Maker and sometimes Griot's Best Of Show spray wax for appearance reasons only! Always looking for extra gloss and color depth. Not interested in extra protection.
Rained today in Indy incredible beads from seal n shine, I’m going to top it with eagle one wipe n shine now. Thanks for all the videos! What do you work 16hr days ? I appreciate your time I know it takes a lot making videos and running a business
That part of not buying and hoarding products is definitely aimed at someone like myself, as I have REDICULOUS amounts of detail products (over 1000sqft reserve). Thanks for the advice, I hope I can use it. I do however want to know where I can buy Eagle One Wipe and Shine in Canada. I have searched quite a bit and can't seem to find anywhere that sells at regular price. Ebay and amazon.ca are ripoffs as it would cost 2-3 times the price of the product to have it shipped.
Thanks for another helpful video! I finally bought a bottle of BSD 2 weeks ago and do like the versatility. BUT when it's gone, I'll try the Eagle 1. Like you said, it would make a killer combo with TW SnS!
I saw Eagle One Wipe and Shine at Ollie's yesterday. It was in different packaging however. I wonder if it's the same formula? Might be worth picking up regardless.
I did too and I bought it, think it was 3.99. Its the same product when I compared the label of the black bottle to the new blue bottle and even if they are slightly different, it was unbelievable. Im going back to see if they have any left. The slickness is awesome and the gloss was off the charts. GO GET IT before they run out!
This particular Ollie's had at least a dozen bottles of the Eagle One, and also the Simonize Ceramic Spray. Glad to hear it's most likely the same stuff. I'm gonna go back and most likely pick up a bottle of the EO and the Simonize. It has been over a week, but I'm sure nobody has made a run on the store for those products. The TW Ice Seal and Shine might be a little better, but the Simonize is more product for 2 bucks less.
Who do Eagle One and Turtle Wax think they are releasing quality products after years of not so great stuff.. Anyway these companies owe you guys that test their products a lot. Without channels like yours I wouldn't believe it and definitely wouldn't buy them. Sonax Net Shield is really grabby too when trying to remove. Also can be a pain to get it all off and not leave smears
Safe to use Sonax of ppf film? Looking for a contament cleaner, might be rubbing over stains on some painted art pieces, but my panel wipe has some ammonia & thus overall dulls the waterbase urethane sealer.
Great comparison. Thoughts on doing a waterless Sonax wash, then Eagle one Wipe and Shine and top it with the TW Spray and Shine you mentioned at the end of this video? Thanks and keep up the GREAT work!
I like the part where you tell us not to hoard and only buy what we need and when we need it. I do rinseless with Ech2o then QD with it after. I'd like to see it go against EagleOne.
Brian just told it a little bit in that video, you can use sonax or other detailing product as a drying aid and that will remove your water spots. But first, don’t wash your car in direct sunlight, that will dry your car too fast and causing water spots. If you don’t want to use a detailing product, just keep your car wet and just remove the water with a humid microfiber and remove the excess of water frequently . Hope that help.
I live in the UK. Eagle One is unavailable from my usual suppliers and if I buy from Ebay Eagle one is 4x the price of Sonax. So adding price and availability... Sonax BSD is my winner.
Confused, i used Sonax Ceramic. what is the best method of weekly washing and maintenance after ceramic? i had a contours competition 4 days after the ceramic coating. when i realized how much dust and road grime had landed on the car in just 4 days. even driving to the event adds dust. how do i quick detail the car after ive staged it at the even
I used Sonax since a years , when i use it as a quick detailler is it very hard to buff on my two black car. That why i will change for another product when my bottle will be empty. But as a rinceless wash is very good.
Hey Brian, any reason why you didn't wash the residue off the panel following the 3rd round? I noticed that the Eagle One did well regardless but I was expecting to see how the BSD section would behave following your Purple Power cleaning stage.
It’s cool to see that some low cost products beats high end products !! It’s also cool to see some comparisons but I prefer your technical review or technics /tricks and talking about technic...physically how you can see the differences between soft, mid and hard clear coat ??
Brian I know it's difficult to test durability in the real world but I'd love to see what the results are if left on the panel and washed weekly with nothing but ph balanced shampoo. See how both fair exposed to the elements and a typical hand wash as chemical resistance isn't really a true representation of how long a product will last. Eagle ones chemical resistance does look impressive though, just not sure how useful that would be for real world testing. Shame it isn't available over here in the UK for as cheap as it is in the states.
Apart from the durability, Gloss and beading test, I think there is one other test, the bird droppings and traffic film ease of cleaning. And that's why I wax my car. It's a bit more difficult to test, but that's what I'm interested in.
nice work Brian, might be time to do a special Apex mix, blend the best scoring products to make a Brian cocktail detailer, that wins all test sections!!!!
An ultimate showdown will be interesting as you systematically eliminate products in the preliminaries. I have been using Ech2o on my black, Modesta-coated GT350 . It is hard to imagine the paint looking any better but I look forward to more comparisons.
Hi Brian.Do you think that you can use the Magic eraser to remove contaminants from your car if used a lubricant just like clay. Just a thought. I didn’t watch the video yet. Put the winner up against seal and shine. And can you please put seal and shine against The Dallas paint correction and ceramic Coating. That would really be great 👍 I
Apex Detail okay just thought I would ask. Just to let you know. On eBay there’s a great deal on Members Mark microfiber towels package of 36 for 21 dollars. I picked a a package up they are really great. Very similar to Kirkland microfiber towels. But here one nice advantage. They are tag free. Yes no stupid pain in The rear end tag to rip off. And I think that’s great. Don’t know if you’re interested or you need anything just thought I would let you know and everybody on this channel thanks and have a wonderful day
Compared to many other car based channels you have an eye for detail and will put in effort to gain the most. Would you do an episode on dried bird poo removal, say for the average guy who s car has probably baked ball day with it and finds it going home
Great test. E1 crushed it. When it comes to products like these I don't look for long term protection ability. I look for shine and water behavior. I reapply LSP's once to twice a month so it will never get to the point of the product breaking down too much. I'm sure it's probably a waste of money but its habit I cant seem to break.
Eagle one isn't available anywhere else on the planet except for the good Old U.S. of A. I'm in Australia and to add this to cart from any where in the U.S it will cost AU$27 for the product and a further AUD$45.80 to ship. Why is shipping from the U.S at such an extortionate rate ?? I though Rudy Giuliani got rid of the Mafia over there. Looks like a new mafia is in full swing and now the racket is international shipping ! Makes getting anything from the U.S null and void. You all can have these products for yourselves.
Eagle One Survives another day. The next contestant for a comparison with Eagle One Wipe and Shine is.......?
Rematch with Turtle Wax!!
Since you're looking at detail sprays, maybe try the new Collinite 520 Post Haste quick detailer...
Carpro reload?
Technicians Choice
Sonax NetShield
Products like TW Seal N Shine and Eagle One Spray Detailer continue to impress and I think both should be compared to coatings. Let the battle begin.
Brain... you are indeed the auto product tester; thanks again for taking to time to do these. Under-dogs are killing it!
Brain?
@@65sohc have done that more than once... LOL...
Without doubt the most in depth and detailed videos on UA-cam Brian , and we all appreciate the time and effort you put into them .

That will happen at some point.👍
Brian, incredible tests, thank you! Looking forward to P&S Brake Buster testing here💡
Another great video, Brian! Really appreciate your hard work presenting these products and your objective testing
What a great testing procedure you have. You have discovered another retail level beast with Eagle One Wipe & Shine!

Great video Brian. What was you dilution ratio for Sonax please ?
Overstock now you tell me LOL :)
Another great video!
Wonder how wipe and shine does at self cleaning ? BSD has worked great for me.
So hard to find any Eagle One products in Canada :(
Brian, thank you once again for providing these videos. Really enjoy them.
Rained today in Indy incredible beads from seal n shine, I’m going to top it with eagle one wipe n shine now. Thanks for all the videos! What do you work 16hr days ? I appreciate your time I know it takes a lot making videos and running a business
I believe he works 25 hours a day. 😁
I was surprised you can combine the two products.
That part of not buying and hoarding products is definitely aimed at someone like myself, as I have REDICULOUS amounts of detail products (over 1000sqft reserve).
Thanks for the advice, I hope I can use it.

Can you teat stuff on black plastic also in the future if it leaves residue.
Great review Brian, I'm a big fan of both these products.
Thanks for another helpful video!
I finally bought a bottle of BSD 2 weeks ago and do like the versatility. BUT when it's gone, I'll try the Eagle 1. Like you said, it would make a killer combo with TW SnS!

My favourite detailing channel, the guy who introduced me to bsd ! Miss the hat though lol

Sonax Net Shield is really grabby too when trying to remove. Also can be a pain to get it all off and not leave smears
Tw stuff has always been decent, but didn't give freebies to channel s so got ignored, but when it does it holds up

BSD was spent....unfortunately.
The sonax xtreme or standrt? Because have varian sonax Extreme Briliant shine detailer...
Wao Eagle one is my new Quick Detailer 💪🏾💪🏾
What is your favorite products from start to finish on a car that needs a pretty hard paint correction.
What's up with all these OTC product kicking ass for cheap?! I love it!! Keep it up Brian!

Which is the best sealant wax to buy price is no problem
Brian, Are you going to do your training session again this year, if so where is it going to be, and when?
I am a guest mentor at an IGL session this year in Sept. But nothing in my shop until it is completely finished.
Brian have you used Turtle was Seal N shine or Eagle One wipe & shine on any customers vehicles. If so how are they working out????
Yes...on the cheaper packages. They are still going strong.
Brain great review I'm sorry but can you give me another link for that awesome wash mitt an I just got that eagle one is good
Hi Brian. How can eagle one be considered a quick detailer . I thought it worked like a sealant like seal and shine.?????
It seems more like a hybrid, something between the two.
Brian I know it's difficult to test durability in the real world but I'd love to see what the results are if left on the panel and washed weekly with nothing but ph balanced shampoo. Compare with turtle wax hybrid spray coating..

Eagle One is another beast!
Seems like i will be getting the Eagle’s at walmart tomorrow for my Dodge charger as a drying aid!
You should compare eagle1 detailer to carplan no1 gloss spray.
PROTEGE CONTRA LOS RAYOS UV sonax ?????
