Old, Weird, Janky... yes. But you can see the spark of a really good game designer even in these rudimentary projects. Now I'm even more excited to play Blood & Mead.

omg the first seconds of the video got me like "OMG I wish this would happen to me one day!!!"
I always said that if I had 1 wish from a genie, I'd ask to get my old flash games and animations... too much memories which I truly wanna see 😭😭😭😭 The games you made are sooooo funnnn!!! I can see myself playing them nowadays hahaha! What a nostalgic video!! You're awesome!

So nostalgic :-) I also did a lot of Flash games for web in the early 2000's. Today I'm actually doing AAA game UI, based on Flash/Animate graphics and Actionscript, using a middleware/compiler called Scaleform. Still living that Flash life ;-)

This was super interesting, haha. My very first "I can use this basic programming to make a game maybe?" project was a lot like your early RPG attempt. You could walk around, grab keys, open doors, and I made a gun you could shoot in four directions. The rest of the gameplay was basically Pac-Man. It was all in the console using ASCII characters though, because my high school class only taught us very basic C and that's all I could do, haha.

Some Developers Where selling there Finish Playable Flash Games On there Website for 3 Dollars and to be honest I don't spend money too much on a lot of stuff but I had to buy it... it was worth it , whom out there cant let 3 dollars go you know....Doing the math is a bit interesting as well...

I'm more impressed that the USB drive from two decades ago still worked and that you still have Flash Player out there to play it. Haha.
These games look cool, complete with SFX and everything. It's good to see some of the things that you developed from early on. Clutch Burn looks really cool!

This is a reminder that game dev is not the linear journey we often imagine it to be.
Every time you make something, no matter how small or seemingly insignificant, adds to the things you know how to do. All those little skills added up over time forge you into a game developer. All these experiments and attempts at making games, even if they don't make money or even get played by other people still count to XP and are slowly leveling you up.

Damn Bro that's quite a resume ! No surprise, that kind of passion doesn't fall out of the sky one morning, it's a lifelong journey. Thanks for Sharing.

Really like this video. I had no idea that you already made so many games before. I wish I would have done that instead of trying to make something large. The game at 9:40. I could see that being popular today.

That fighting game where you took your photos is actually sick. I'd play a game where every character is a photo like that

Lucky. I lost all my fla files when my harddrive died, back in 2006 i think. Started my career as a flash website / webapp developer, back in 2008. Btw, does anyone here remember shockwave and its language lingo? It brought 3d to the browser like 10 years before flash. Whatever happened to it.. probably adobe.

Shockwave was awesome, I think it used Adobe director. I was always in awe but never got far with it. It was impressive tech for the time!
