I always wondered if there was a true difference between the types of high index glasses and the answer is: it all depends. High index glasses do overall improve the look of your glasses, so they are worth the investment. However, if you are on a budget, you don't necessarily want to spend more than you have to on an unnecessary high index lens - even if you do have a strong prescription. Cannot understand at all why you do not mention what we all want to know: the power of the glasses……..
I would have loved to see the 1.74 vs 1.67 in a side by side (and not moving around) in exactly the same plastic frame. Your comparison wasn't the best as the plastic frames side by side were different types and color.

What power your glass have?
Do you notice a difference in viewing? or you can put on either of them and see the exact same?

What is your prescription? You did not say what was your power at all. Is it -8.00 or +10.00 etc . What is your power?

I really don't think that's what I received compared to, my other glasses, same script, very comparable frame.
