If for instance your gown full length is 60 Inches, half length for front is 17 inches while the back is 15 inches, the skirt length will be determined by the front length. This means you'll deduct 17 inches from 60 which gives 43 inches. So the skirt length for the front and back will be 43 inches. (Use your own measurements please) Make sure you add half inch to the skirt waistline for joining as well as the upper bodice too. All the best! Ps: I'll like to know the outcome of the dress if you don't mind 🤷♀️.
I really ddont understand the back pattern When will the zipper start from And that up side after the neckline what is going to be there if its not the zipper
I guess you're a learner, if so it's fine. The back pattern is very easy and well explained as the front. The side after the neckline is going to have a button and the zipper starts from the chest line downwards. I hope you understand. I am confused about how you determine where the queen Ann straps go. My customers neck width is 4”, so how do I work it out? You mentioned you put your 2.75” inches but did not show exactly where you put it, then you went on to say 7.5”? That’s where I started getting confused.
Thanks for engaging 😊. Please I have two questions to ask you if you don't mind. 1. Did you watch the tutorial well or you skipped the part where I explained how to go about the neckline? 2. Are you a beginner? If you are, then you need to calmly rewatch the video and you'll understand in details. 👉There's no standard measurement for neck width and depth when it comes to Queen Anne neckline. This is why you need to measure your client or customer and ask how wide and deep or open they want their neckline to be. If your customer's neck width is 4 inches on fold, you can use 3 inches or 2.5, or better still ask her how she wants her neckline to be because Queen Anne neckline looks more beautiful when the width is closer to your shoulder. I hope you understand what I mean 🤷♀️. For the part that got you confused, I mentioned that how wide I want my chest to be is 7.5inches and when I divided that into 2, I got 3.75inches (and not 2.75 inches like you said). This is because the pattern paper is on fold ok. I showed where and how I input the 3.75 inches by measuring from the center front to the first dart leg on the over bust line. Then I placed what I got on my tape rule on the second dart leg and measured the 3.75 inches. I think I've explained this enough dear. So please, watch the video all over again. Follow my explanation and you'll get it right I promise. Please subscribe if you're yet to do so. Thank you 😘. Waiting for your feedback.

@@OladeleAdewunmi Make sure you take accurate measurements of your body. Usually, the half length or shoulder to waist for the front is longer than the back.
@@OladeleAdewunmi when measuring, measure your shoulder to waist measurement at the back, it will be shorter than your front, so removing the side bust dart will ensure all your measurements are balanced and trim .

How will we determine the skirt Length for the front and back since the front and back HL is different?
If for instance your gown full length is 60 Inches, half length for front is 17 inches while the back is 15 inches, the skirt length will be determined by the front length. This means you'll deduct 17 inches from 60 which gives 43 inches.

Must I add an overbust for the neckline?
If you mean over bust tightening, then YES. This is done to prevent gaping at the neckline as well as to shapen the bust.
