I think there is no such one but you can use the JCB one or the VAO one.
Hi Pavel, if I change from EFB original battery to VARTA A8 AGM battery where do I need to select the new "type" of battery? Can you confirm that this tutorial is correct for Polo AW1 2018 too?
Yes, the tutorial is correct for the vehicle that you mentioned and the type of the battery in your case it will change so you should import that into the vehicle. This can happen by editing the battery type of adaptation value of the gateway.
Hey i just installed a sub yesterday in my audi a5 2012 but when i got done to turn on car after about 2/3hrs the car wouldnt start everything works inside just it won’t fire up but when i try to push/start it it comes on but no start but makes clicking noise like battery is dead 🧐🧐 do i need to jump it or since i disconnected the battery for a while it needs to be recoded??
You can try to jump start, there should be no issues

You can take a photos or write them manually down. The adaptation channels cannot be saved in a log file like the codings, at least I don’t know a way for that to be done.

You can use the one for Varta (VAO)
Hi I want to change my Audi A1 2016 1.4 start stop battery I have the battery code on top of current battery If buy a Varta battery with no code on top how do I register the new battery
This is what is described in this video. Select the parameters of the battery in the gw module adaptations.
Does i need to do adaption for a6 c6 2007 avant?
It is a little bit different. You can search for “battery adaptation non-uds” and a video from Voss Tech will show you the procedure. I have done it on my a6 c6 some years ago
What name i should choose for Bosch ?
The VA0 (Varta one) is used for Bosch. They are basically the same battery, just rebranded. Both Varta and Bosch are made in the same factory.

From where did you took the new numbers ,or you changed them random
The serial number is changed random. The number for the capacity is the corresponding capacity of the new battery.
@@pavelppp888 my problem is that i don t know if the shop ceded the new battery ,and i have this problem with rpm going at 1000 ,not 900 ,and i checked and from alternator is going out 14.3 and in the back at the bateryy is 12.4 .
Someatimes i got this management baterry code on vcds ,so i can not find the problem ,maybe is the cable because i was reading about the positive cable from a4 b8 2009 .

Please, check the vendor ID and code in the vcds settings. You can google |vcds vendor codes" and try inputing a different one. This error can be caused due to messed up vcds settings and if the vendor id is incorrect, the procedures like coding and adaptations cannot be executed.
If I put same battery then coding is no required ?
You should change only the serial number. That way the car will know that there is a new battery installed.

Nope, you need the old method by coding the battery control module. Search for a6 2007 battery coding - that is the correct procedure for your vehicle.

You can use one of the codes that I show in this video to reprogram your car. It is just the module that is being reprogrammed. That is the difference.

Its selectable menu, so is predefined which one it is. But if you need to write it, its always the letter O.

It have it only to the original batteries. If you bought a normal aftermarket, just change the currently stored serial number in the car to something else (for example change the last symbol) and store it that way. By doing this, the car will know that there is new battery installed.

Is the serial number the same as the BEM code?
Not as the entire BEM Code. Part of the BEM code is the serial number.

What language is your PC? Try with another symbol, even with a letter.
For some reason I have CAN protocol and "adaptation" button it's not selectable... What I am I doing wrong?
Are the other options available, such as “measuring values”. It is possible that the VCDS itself it’s old or unsupported and cannot interpret the adaptations and the bottom remain unavailable
