Humans are talking about it, talking about their own oppression. While people are distracted with that, who’s voice isn’t being heard? The pigs, chickens, and dogs being boiled live crying in pain. Animals raped, children taken away, put in tiny cages, skinned, boiled, taken apart alive. We cannot failed from the message or who will be the voice? Who will spread the word when everyone is talking about something else? Talking about voices being heard when the most oppressed are not?

You mean you need to be an American. Sorry for your people, whatever, but the police are a hundred times worse in other countries.
In Mexico, they will shoot anyone if they get paid enough.
In the Philippines, they murder teenagers if they suspect they have drugs.
Can Americans stop thinking the world revolves around their small scale injustices especially when compared to genocides and mass murders still happening in other countries.
      THAT is privilege.

I think the problem is that many vegans like to equate animal suffering to human slavery, family seperation or even the holocost. But now when black people are being killed by police & migrent children are being separeated from their families ect. these vegans dont speak on these issues. You can't equate these situations and be outraged about animals and not humans.

As a black woman and long time subscriber, I am truly disappointed. How you gonna claim to not be intersectional with your channel but you have videos about religion, transgender discrimination, youtube beauty guru drama and family vlog channels?
I think you need to spend some time contemplating why you felt the need to make those videos, but hesitated to speak out about black lives. Aiyana Stanley was 7 years old. Tamir Rice was 12. Ahmaud Aubery was dead for 2 months before we even found out about it. What if there was no video? Why don't you feel the need to talk about it? Is it because it doesn't effect you? If we don't have conversations about injustices, how will change happen? Apparently it's not that urgent to you. Not as urgent as halo vitamins anyway.
And yea, when white people have profited from the enslavement and labor of black people (on plantations in the past and through mass incarceration today) and from having opportunities that aren't afforded to POC through discrimination; yea, you should be contributing a portion of your resources to help level the playing field. I can't with you.

I felt the same about a few podcasts who either were silent (as in still posting episodes but not talking about it) or who skirted over it by saying "this is a light and fun escape so not gonna get into that" meanwhile one I follow in particular has many episodes dedicated to cases of murder, sexual violence, etc. Basically people are scared to say the "wrong thing" and don't have the courage to speak up in the right way so whatever they would say would be so full of caveats and qualifications that they'd get dragged or they fear that they might alienate people who hate blm. Like tell me that if a major terrorist attack or something else were to happen that these social media stars, podcasters etc wouldn't have hearfelt messages but this is just too "controversial" (though from what UV says I think she actually wouldn't)

      1) from what I have seen on social media, people In the United States are more interested in talking about the issues within our borders and hoping others talk about those issues than with issues other people in different countries are dealing with. It makes sense, the closer you are to an issue the more likely you are going to care and talk about it. Thus, I see a lot of US people on the timelines of my multiple twitter accounts and facebook talking about BLM but hadn't really talked much about any other political / social issue (in the US or otherwise), and that makes sense given what I just said. It is really easy to get into your corner of the internet and your corner of social justic causes and promote those. To say that people talking about BLM are also talking about these other issues is just not the case, often enough. Even I, as socially aware and conscious as I am, I don't always share content or support about every isse that is going on outside of the US. And I personally don't like how a lot of US people seem to be more concerned in making sure people talk about the issues that affect them rather than the issues that don't. Again, I understand why this is happening, but I think people in the US have some nationality privilege to feel entitlted everyone else talk about the issues that affect them but other people don't feel that and they also don't get this same courtesy to demand others talk about their issues. While I think it is important to use your platform to talk about issues around you, to demand people speak out about this issue and not others seems unbalanced to me.
      2) I want to also point out that saying something is a political issue doesn't negate the fact that it is also a human rights issue. Whether we like it or not, supporting the Black Lives Matter movement is falling on party lines and is used as a way to separate people political, this is just a reality. Everything can be political if it can be used to categorize people politically and be legislated in some way.

@@BigBeatlesFan121 yes and it also completely unfair to politicize the belief that OUR LIVES ARE VALID AND WORTHY. Most people say it is a political issue to negate that it is a human rights issue that is personal to so so so many of us. I think people that fall into the hole of negating that Black lives matter in order preserve the purity of their party affiliation are the problem. By doing that THAT PERSON is inferring republicans are racist (because what else would you call not thinking black people are valid to their right to life and justice) which makes no sense. Saying BLM is not hard and yet the matter of saying it or not saying it has become an issue to "debate." It's disgusting. Also I have to disagree, I think Americans truly need to focus MORE on what's going on at home with ALL groups of people. We need to look inward a lot more to see we have MANY problems here. We need to lift the voices and try to mend some of the horrors done AT HOME to our BIPOC people and others. Like take a mission trip to help poor communities in Mississippi and Arkansas (and not a random village in Africa for an instagram pic) or travel to help with water in Flint Michigan lol. Who else will care about these issued if not us? Systemic racism against black people is also an issue that is intertwined with the very foundation this country stands on. It's cut and dry, it is not nuanced. That is why silence is loud in this issue. You can chose not to speak on it but you also can't tell people not to draw conclusions if you don't. And I hope when we start putting in the WORK to listen and provide action that provides allyship to our Indigenous folks we do not also debate that as well. This place gives me a headache sometimes.

@@SpyderT22 Definitely a good idea to be critically thinking of any organization and you are right of course that millions are donated to BLM as an organization - but as a *movement*, there is a huge push towards donating money to individual Black and Black Trans people (and different types of mutual aid like protester bail funds), watching to see when certain orgs get enough donations and then urging focus on different orgs that are still in needs of funding!
A lot of people are learning about this movement as a new idea and are learning day by day, but I have seen (in my personal social media view) a shift of focus from BLM's main american org to spreading power and money to smaller orgs and mutual aid.

No one ever said the issues happening in China, the Middle East, and the rest of the world aren’t important, or that we don’t care about them, or are unable to care about multiple issues at once. But we’re also not on UA-cam making videos titled “Do we need to talk about Muslims in China?” and letting our audience know that we don’t feel the need to make “a whole video” about the issue because that’s not what our channel is about. Why say anything at all, if that’s the case?
I’m an ethical vegan, but the treatment of black men and women in this country right now has no business being equated to the suffering of animals, and to use the excuse “but we’re all animals” is extremely tone deaf. The vegan community goes on and on, comparing animal agriculture in the U.S. to the atrocities of slavery and talking about ethics and morality, but when they see civil rights issues and human oppression happening in their cities and towns, it’s complete silence. And then we get videos like this.
No one is forcing vegans to speak out about *anything*, and if videos like yours are the angle the conversation goes about the deep-rooted racism in America, I’d honestly rather people educate themselves before saying anything at all.

  • @Mad_Props

It is a tremendous privilege to be able to choose to be non-interesectional in advocacy. BIPOC vegans cannot make that choice. No one in the movement is telling White people not to speak about it, what they are saying is: be informed before you speak- help by informing members of your own community, be mindful about how you communicate about BIPOC issues in all spaces that you inhabit, and to do the work of racial justice to decolonize your mind. The only risk to White people who are moving towards being anti-racist allies is that they will get it wrong. Getting things wrong, learning why they are wrong, accepting responsibility and making the change is very good for growth in all advocacy. The point that you were confused about re:Black space is not about having an anti-white space it’s about having a space where Black people can be safe and help their communities without having to be concerned about white guilt. There are organizations that have majority white and non Black POC that work with BIPOC lead groups SURJ is one. The point is to show up and support the cause in the way those who are directly affected need and want the help. It means make advocacy about the cause and not the ally. Intersectionality works it just takes a lot of effort, time, and work. If you don’t want to do that and you only want to have a single issue advocacy just know that it is a choice and that choice is made possible by the benefits provided by the privilege of being white in a white supremacist society.

I understand the argument that some forms of injustice have a lot of reach, but that itself is increadably vague when you just generalize from there. "That's a rather privileged position." Yes, so is not feeling the need to be outspokenly non-racist and not supporting black lives matter. Supporting black lives matter isn't saying other issues aren't important, it's saying can we focus on and fix THIS issue right now. You can be concerned about multiple things at a time, not just 1 issue which people use as an argument at times to not go vegan. Black people have been oppressed for hundreds of years. Would I like to see similar movements for Native Americans, US territories, Latinos, etc? Yes, but that cannot happen until we can address our history, stop comparing struggles (they are all valid but DIFFERENT IN CONTEXT), and target eliminating oppression in stages starting with BLM. How can we fight for animal liberation when black people are systemically oppressed? Part of why I went vegan to begin with was because of intersectionality. As a Latinx, I faced a lot of personal ridicule of being white-washed for going vegan and a sell-out to my race. There is a sociocultural bias within and against veganism. Race matters because denying race or saying you "don't see color" is denying a person's experiences BECAUSE of their skin color. If you want to spread your vegan message, maybe a good way to do that is supporting BLM in solidarity that can show people veganism is more holistic, not just a diet, and will entice people to join. I'd want to be on the side of people who stand for what I stand for, not bystanders. Also, defund the police is NOT just getting rid of all police and having anarchy. Defund the police is about repurposing that money in PREVENTING criminality via specialized work just like healthcare invests in preventative care. The cofounder of BLM has info on what defunding the police really means. For anyone interested, also check out Veganism in an Oppressive world by Julia Bruek.

Instead of asking "why do I need to speak out against racism?" it's better to ask "why am I uncomfortable publicly supporting Black Lives Matter?" or "why do I feel it's important for me to stay silent?" Bringing up the fact that vegans have not historically spoken up about global issues of racism or oppression, nor have been pressured to do so, feels like a distraction and a bit of an excuse. Instead of the take away being that it's okay for vegans to stay silent, maybe we should think about the ways that vegans can be better allies to human rights. "Human rights organizations don't support animal rights" is not a good excuse either.
I think Mama Doctor Jones did a really good job of supporting Black Lives Matter while staying on topic for her videos by doing a video specifically on how race impacts maternal infant mortality. It wasn't performative at all because it was the exact type of thing she regularly makes videos on. An analogous video for vegan channels could be trying food from black owned companies, or talking about the massive issues with racism with the vegan community.

Of course it's arguable, Roland Fryer (a black economist) has done the more rigorous work on this, and found no racial bias in officer involved shootings, the most extreme use of force. However, officers are more likely to rough up black suspects. So BLM's central contention, that it's open season on police killing black people, is not uncontroversial in the scientific literature. There is much to praise in BLM, for instance the focus on police corruption, and its nonviolent nature. But there is room for reasonable disagreement.

All I ask for is support not a handout or for allies to divert their attention from their cause. I have seen white vegans not support BLM but will use it as a prop for their message. If you're not going to help me then PLEASE don't hurt me. A Black Space is a place for Black people to be comfortable without having to cater to or make adjustments. Many of us have to hold our breath while navigating predominantly White spaces. The problem with the activists in Black communities is not just coming off as out of touch. Many of these areas are food deserts, many Africans were predominantly plant based and now their only family recipes are meat based and derived during slavery. I had to work hard to show my family how to veganize our own recipes and respecting our history. Many Black families are more worried about making ends meet and staying alive which makes some vegan activist seem frivolous. TLDR: Many want to help but barge in with assumptions and expectations based on their own experience vs listening and learning.

It’s the same reason you need black people and gay people and women in writers rooms, you can’t speak accurately on things that you haven’t experienced. And yeah “anyone could come up with a solution” including a black person so why not amplify their voices in the one movement that is about them where historically black people don’t have the chance to be at the top of things and make decisions that create change?

George Floyd was murdered about 3 miles from my home. I don’t want anything like that to ever happen again. Minneapolis police chief Arradondo is a cop who has sued the MPD for racial bias. He’s got a list of things he wants to do to fix stuff like this in the police force. He’s black, yes, but the reason he knows what’s going to work is also because he’s a cop, and a decent human being. He’s identified the Federated Union and it’s power as a hurdle to creating any system that disciplines cops by forcing corrections through arbitration. Arbitration is a union negotiated road block to demoting racist cops. We’re not going to fix this without addressing that.
This stuff isn’t sexy. It’s got none of the white self-flagellation and righteous bullying that y’all are indulging in. It’s details. Boring, technical details. It’s not going to be fixed by people who have one race versus another. It’s going to be fixed by people who take the time they MIGHT spend virtue signaling by trash talking vegans like Swayze and redirect it to understand how cops end up killers.
With comments like these, I’ve got no faith any of you are going to fix anything.

I’m a woman of color who subscribes to you, and I have to say this video was pretty disappointing. Other commenters have given similar feedback, so I’d just like to rebut here the argument you make about 20:00 or so:
I certainly see where you’re coming from with regard to the argument that a person’s race doesn’t in and of itself make them an authority on race-related issues, and the argument on its face makes sense. However, anti-police brutality and anti-PIC groups *should* be led by black and brown people, who suffer the most oppression under these systems of power. Experiential knowledge counts for something (a lot, in fact), and I would argue that your elevation of so-called expertise and logic over experiential knowledge is eurocentric, and more than a little dismissive.
The postcolonial philosopher Gayatri Spivak made a rebuttal to an argument similar to the one you make here: “I will have in an undergraduate class, let’s say, a young, white, male student, politically-correct, who will say: “I am only a bourgeois white male, I can’t speak.” ... I say to them: “Why not develop a certain degree of rage against the history that has written such an abject script for you that you are silenced?” ... From this position, then, I say you will of course not speak in the same way about the Third World material, but if you make it your task not only to learn what is going on there through language, through specific programmes of study, but also at the same time through a historical critique of your position as the investigating person, then you will see that you have earned the right to criticize, and you will be heard.”
In other words, I agree with your basic assertion that white people can have valuable contributions to this conversation, but they have to have done their homework. Unfortunately, I think you’ve been skipping class here.
Your assertion that it is racist to identify a psychological different between the minds of black people and of white people is especially curious to me, as there is a long history of black writers writing about the psychological effects and reifications of their oppression (see Dubois on “double consciousness” and “Concerning Violence” by Frantz Fanon, himself a psychiatrist).
I enjoy your videos because of how thorough they are, how you break down and discuss supporting evidence for your claims. I can’t help but notice that you don’t seem to have much supporting evidence or theory in this video. I would encourage you to interrogate why that is.

@Rosemary Terra It's hard not to perpetuate your own dismay when the culture tells you it's all you're capable of (to quote the person you're replying to, "see Dubois on “double consciousness” and “Concerning Violence” by Frantz Fanon"). I remember reading a study where girls played chess against boys. When they didn't know the gender of their opponent, they performed normally. When they were told their opponent was a boy, the girls performed poorer than before. When they were *reminded that there is a stereotype that girls aren't good at chess, they performed the worst*. Individually, we like to think we're the arbiters of our own destiny. But the words of other people seep into our minds in ways we don't even see until we look at the results collectively. And until society stops perpetuating stereotypes about Black people being "less than" in any number of ways, it just won't be a level playing field (on the whole, of course every individual is different) because the evidence shows us that we are more likely to perform poorly when other people believe we will.

I will say: gross. Absolutely gross. Unsubscribed, blah blah blah, but also, this really changed how I see you. Attempting to logic your way out of giving a damn about the well being of your neighbors, actual humans in your community, is not compassionate. It's wretched, and it makes me sad.
If you care enough about the well being of animals to build every aspect of your life around doing minimal harm, to build a career based on advocating for the cessation of their abuse, but not enough about the daily, inhumane suffering of the people in your own community to even speak up, that says it all. A breathtaking act of callousness.

There is a lot of privilege in being able to choose our causes. Many people don't have that option, the cause is chosen for them and they have to fight for their lives. I can choose which to focus on because there is nothing threatening me at the moment, nor has there been growing up. So we should use that privilege, not necessarily to support one specific cause just because people want us too, but to make the most impact, to support the causes that can do the most good. It is good to support the BLM movement, but please realize that it is, in a way, also a 'privilege" and a choice. Let us try to relativize for a moment. Why is the world soo caught up in American politics? My only question is, we are seeing global marches in solidarity with the American people. And that's great. But why America? There's soo much injustice at the hands of governments globally, and the reaction from the global community is not this united. So why America?

This video is weak sauce. I wonder if you would ask why any other movement focused on a cause that affects a group of people disproportionately needs to be led by memebers of that group. I highly doubt that you would ask why a movement for women's rights in the work place for example would need to be lead by women and how women would have better insights on sexism and better ideas on how it should be combated. Diverse views and disagreement amongst black people on systematic racism are not a license to center the perspectives of white people when white people's perspectives being constantly elevated and floating to the top in every forum is the reason we are here. You didn't think about this enough.

Also, the question in the title is redundant. Everyone should talk about black lives matter. But not everyone should be leading the discourse and activism in a movement that was founded by black people for black people. Especially if they just decided it was worth talking about this month after seeing the George Floyd video and not all the other times similar videos have gone vital. That 'colour doesn't matter' in a movement that is centred around fighting white supremacist state violence in a white supremacist country is embarrassing tbh.

(including many written for children) If you listened to Black people talk about their histories and experiences, you'd know why this is such an important movement that everyone has the responsibility to be engaged with in every aspect of our lives. (esp white people, as we directly benefit from/perpetuate/protect white supremacy that is so deeply ingrained in every institution) And why we need to specifically center and listen to Black people.

BLM isn’t really my wheelhouse, so I’m just gonna do pride things.” But we’re not doing that. We’re recognizing huge issues that requires MASSIVE systemic change, and we’re throwing in with BLM in order to get that change to happen. This is not about speaking your thoughts. This is about getting as many people to INFLUENCE the course of history as possible in as many ways as possible. We need people who can reach others to use that influence so we can get shit done. Animal suffering is radically, radically different from the suffering of black Americans, so being vegan should not ipso facto require a discussion about BLM. Being a good person should. 21:36 is reminding me a lot of this problematic phrase "I don't see colour" used by white people which essentially erases BIPOC voicing their experiences. To say 'colour doesn't matter' in a discussion of opportunities in America diminishes the struggles black people face because of systemic racism to hold positions of power. By dismissing race in this it disregards the privilege and power of the dominant racial group of society (white people). People want there to be black people at the forefront of policies and solutions of police brutality and inequality because as you said experience matters. It is not about the fact that all people can critically think of solutions, obviously, all people can adequately do that. It is because there are fewer opportunities for black people in these discussions though they are just as educated and capable as the white people in power.
It's basically like when abortion bans are passed by a room full of men and most people can understand why that's an issue.

For you to talk about how black vegans feel excluded from the movement...while making a video about how obnoxious you find the expectation you care about black people is incredibly ironic. The real problem a lot of people have with vegans, particularly marginalized people, is that these folks will talk your ear off about the lives and happiness of pigs and fish and cows and then be quick to be disgruntled, bored or change the subject if you talk about suffering of marginalized people. I'm not going to pretend to be deeply emotionally hurt about dead clams to gratify a person that couldn't dedicate five minutes to my dead cousin.

Previously she’s said that she doesn’t believe in intersectionalism and how white feminists had to stand on the feet of BIPOC women to get everyone voting rights. Like fuck off to the end of the universe with that line of logic. Secondly, she as a white American has a tremendous amount of privilege in being able to choose what she fights for, PoC people especially Black people don’t get to choose that. The reason she has such a tilted likes to dislikes ratio is because people do care about BLM and are calling bullshit on her entire stance. Who are you to dictate that they aren’t race related when the statistics clearly show uneven death. And this is not 1% of the death rate and it is attached to other issues such as the disproportionate incarceration rates and the prison pipeline. It's certainly good to talk about BLM, but if BLM isn't required to talk about veganism or other human rights abuses (which they SHOULDN'T be!) why are vegans required to talk about BLM? And if that's not how you feel, that's the point she was trying to make. Kind of like of vegans are conscious consumers, I have to be a conscious consumer when it comes to people being racist and/or supporting policies that are detrimental to my community.
Veganism is to an extent a privilege in itself. Food deserts exist in many communities of color which would make being vegan highly difficult or choice that will lead to malnutrition. I think my veganism comes from and intertwines with my feminism, being part of the LGBTQ+ community, and being anti-racist. Any and all human and animal rights issues intertwine, to me at least. I just believe in treating all living creatures with respect. And there is a time and place to uplift and support all of the causes I believe in. It’s pride month but we’re still supporting and giving highlight to BIPOC voices instead. I can talk about being vegan and then share an update on the BLM protests in my area. Being a well rounded activist and educated on a lot of issues isn’t that uncommon and seems like what we should be advocating for. This is so disappointing Swayze. I am not Vegan, but I have always loved your takes on vegan privilege and it's inspired me to reduce the amount of meat I consume. I also eat less and less animal products because of you. I've watched your videos for many years. I have watched this whole video and you make points that I begin to think "okay, that makes sense." However, you say a several things in this video that are concerning to me.
You even said in this video "wouldn't it be better to post nothing than post *this*" and I pose you the same question. I realize people were asking you to make this video, but I don't think people were expecting this.
Firstly, you really brush off the abolition of police very quickly. I suspect you have not looked into what this really means because there are many scholarly articles that explain how and why this is a good idea. This is also not a new idea, it's only now that people are seriously talking about it on a large scale. Abolishing the police/defunding police means re-distributing police funding into community funding. And ultimately, crime rates will go down, and the need for police is less. And ultimately, we can have something like police that don't have to carry guns and have the systematic problems that the police carry.
Secondly, you admit in your video that systematically, veganism is not inclusive to black people. I think you missed a really good point here. So let's say I am part of a system as a white person, like government or the police etc. that benefits from systematic racism. It IS your responsibility to make that system more inclusive and understanding. You, benefitting from being vegan, as a vegan youtuber, you have a responsibility to talk about black lives matter. Very disappointing you didn't see this. I can't go too much into depth on this in a youtube comment, but really consider this perspective.
Thirdly, I have always taken issue with your perspective on not understanding intersectionality. I learned about intersectionality from a feminist perspective and it's a very commonly accepted and written about that non-intersectional feminism isn't feminism. So i'll use this example - a white feminist might just not understand BLM and never speak of it on her socials or whatever. However, here's the deeper problem - what about the micro-agressions this person allows to slip out. Or the misunderstanding they spread. You are doing exactly this with this video Swayze. You are taking on your "single perspective" but allowing a voice to be spread that questions BLM.
No one is saying you CANT make content focussed on specific topics. Of COURSE NOT. HOWEVER, in this VERY IMPORTANT MOMENT in history, you're choosing to make this video?? Really?? In fact you DO make intersectional points all the time in your videos. You often talk about privilege and taking into consideration other problems. THIS IS INTERSECTIONAL. Just like you are saying, this video could have talked about how Veganism isn't inclusive to Black people. You could have used your platform to talk about this. Instead, you decided to make this. I am really really saddened by this Swayze and I hope you make a follow up.
Also, your point about white people/black people ideas is very very misinformed. How could a white person create systems that could understand the perspectives of black people. It's not optics. It's a human understanding of the crisis at hand. Sure, white people are going to be involved due to the system, but shitting on how all-black groups exist is so so so upsetting.
This is so complex and I can't explain everything in a youtube comment but wow. I am really disappointed.

Privilege can affect food options as it is not easy to get produce in these areas.
EDIT: For those curious how this would help and what you might do. People originally from poor black communities have advocated and gotten farmers' markets and food banks have gotten mobile farmers markets to come to these areas and increases produce intake, improving health of the community with an advantage of not funding meat and junk food producers that denigrate human and animal lives.

“Guys, I'm not retracting my last video. I stand by my ultimate point: I support blm, but I don't believe vegans or any other activists *must* show their support. Just like I don't think any other cause must speak our about any other cause.” That was her official response on Twitter to all the backlash. Noted and unsubscribed. I will not support individuals who do not support me. It’s one thing to put out an ill-thought out video but another to completely reject criticism. Your opinions did more harm than good in this case. It’s extremely disappointing that you don’t see that.

This is so disappointing. I came to the comments to see if it was necessary for me to say why but so many other people have covered it but I couldn't not say it too. I hope you can reflect and understand how wrong you are about this video but if not, I can't support you anymore.
    Black lives matter.
Also, how can you not glaringly see that what you are criticizing that girl on tiktok for is exactly what you are doing in this video?! Its alarming that you dont see that.

This is such a stupid point of view, you are literally that guy screaming ALL LIVES MATTER at the Black Lives Matter movement. Veganism is about NONE HUMAN ANIMALS just like how Black Lives Matter is about Black people. Nobody is saying black lives or any other lives dont matter. If you want to also support BLM by all means go ahead nobody is stopping you, but stop mixing it with veganism. Vegansim has as much to do with BLM as child labor and womens rights. Ending one does nothing for the other.
Although the vegan diet was defined early on in The Vegan Society's beginnings in 1944, it was as late as 1949 before Leslie J Cross pointed out that the society lacked a definition of veganism. He suggested “[t]he principle of the emancipation of animals from exploitation by man”. This is later clarified as “to seek an end to the use of animals by man for food, commodities, work, hunting, vivisection, and by all other uses involving exploitation of animal life by man”.

Demonetize the video. Profiting off saying vegans don’t need to support BLM while putting BLM in the title is wrong. You of all people should know that monetizing this is morally wrong.
