Old school is always a better option (in my humble opinion) They’re more functional, better ride, better performance off and on-road, and the “Bubba” truck look you refer to on the newer truck is 100% more “grown ass man’s truck” looking than that spindly tiny sidewall on the black rim. EXCELLENT VIDEO! Thank you so much !
The more sidewall the better ride quality from what i hear and also cheaper tire replacement from what ive been quoted. Please correct me if im wrong but bring proof!
I've always been a small wheel big tire guy. Biggest I've ever ran was 20 inch wheels but had to have 35's wrapped on em. Right now I've got 17's with 33's. That's just my opinion though. Keep the good content coming man!
Thank you! U did what I was gonna ask you to do! I wanted to see those mud grapplers on the Chevy! Appreciate it! Looks good! Keep it up! & more tire less wheel! In my opinion!
That would cause major rubbing in the fenders when turning if he kept those 12 wides with -44 offset and put 35's on them. Would look sick of course but you need at least a 7 inch lift or more to clear those specs.
32.8x12r16... xcomps r sweet! mud grapplers look like dog treats 😆 if you check my truck out you can get an idea what yours kinda look with x’s 👍👍👍 never mind I was skipping back n forth on video n was thinking u said xcom on Larry
Great vid, really loved the weigh-in! Most often I hear the exact opposite, "more rubber-bigger tire, more weight." Here is my question, the 94K Q! how is the ride? Which tire and how big a difference is the ride quality?" smooth and cushy or buckboard bob? Think you will have to do a full swap to really end this debate, will need to have the same suspension for both tires to know its not the sus-set-up.
I like the rims on the F150 and the taller sidewall tires. Better ride quality better off road capability and not having to worry about scuffing your wheels. I'm not big into modding trucks by putting any big wheel and tire setup on them but despite what might be the "In thing" I know I want my truck to function over form. Got 31x10.5r15s on my Ranger and if set at the right psi ya really get to take advantage of that sidewall and have a good ride quality. Can't imagine how shitty the ride would be with say 19 inch rims and low profile tires. Not for me. So ya I like the old school setup. Give me less wheel and more tire.
Just bought a brand new 22 Explorer and it has 21 inch wheels on it I’d like a half an inch sidewall I would like to put the smallest wheel I can on it and the biggest tire I cannot to help the ride would you happen to know of a chart or how I can find out what rim or wheel will fit on it it does have the oversize big red brake calipers but there’s 2 inches a space between the brake and the rim that’s on it now so I’m sure I can do something better do you have any suggestions?
Went with the poor boy stretch on those Chevy tires. If you actually put the correct width tire on those wheels, it would look better, drive better, the tires would last a lot longer AND you wouldn’t have curb rash problems.
Love your vids man. You should definitely put a sound system in larry.black wheels look frickin mint on Larry too. I just bought those headlights too. Mud grapes on baby squat wheels would look mint.you should switch them and rock it for a few weeks
Alabama Cateye XCOMPS 👍That’s what I have 37x13.5r20 not super best in snow, center syped mine, awesome in the mud and really smooth and quiet down the highway 🛣
Hey man do you know a good brand wheel that's like the once on Larry but with a bigger hub cap. I wanted to buy a 2017 Silverado and put something like that on 33s. Depending on the color of the truck I will be going black to chrome wheels. And what exactly what you call the kind if wheel. Because I want that kind of look with 17inch rims
What is this tire for the ford called? Like there’s a name for it and I have stock rims on my 02 but I want beefier tires on it without changing the rims.
Im trying ro find 16 rims for my 2009 Ford F150 so I can take the 16 in riew KO2 from my 2002 chevy and put on the Ford rims. I am research 16 rims on the Ford trying to see who has done what I want to do. I want the fat sidewall
I’ve got those ion alloys on my 05 2500 Chevy. Sprayed them black. I went through several 20s and never liked the look. I wanna be able to drive anywhere. 20-22s ain’t made for that.
Ill save everyone time, if its going to see any dirt go for a smaller rim, if its a pavment princess than whatever you figure looks better, but do not go offroading if you go for big wheels you will have major issues and damage your wheel or tire
I like the fatter tire smaller wheel set up I think those wheels would look super good on baby squat if they were 17-18s and black
Old school is always a better option (in my humble opinion)

I’d rather have 16s on some 36’s any day. I’m trying to off road not highway patrol
The old school wheels you got, look really nice they're perfect for that ford body style
I grew up in the 80's and EVERYONE had small wheels with giant tires. I just think it looks better.
That sounds nice I got the wrong generation to grow up in
Small wheels with giant tires actually perform off road. I think the big wheels is for people who never leave the pavement...
The more sidewall the better ride quality from what i hear and also cheaper tire replacement from what ive been quoted. Please correct me if im wrong but bring proof!
Back when you had 3 choices of 16.5 wheels, white wagon wheels, chrome wagon wheels or aluminum slots.
I personally like the bullet holes on the new body for the simple fact that nobody really runs them anymore.
Hello, i'm from Germany and i love the old school look.
I like the look of baby squat with Larry’s wheel setup
I've always been a small wheel big tire guy. Biggest I've ever ran was 20 inch wheels but had to have 35's wrapped on em. Right now I've got 17's with 33's. That's just my opinion though. Keep the good content coming man!
Royce Wuzhere 17s and 40s my choice
i like the bullet holes on baby squat. i dont like the black wheels on larry
I actually loved baby squat with the 16x10s. Great video either way. Both trucks look great.
Just leave Larry alone...I like the way he rolls!
35’s on 20’s are the best of both worlds😎
larry looks sick with those black wheels
Small wheels, big tires win hands down!!!
Old school with a big sidewall is better for off-roading. I would run an 18" instead of a 16" rim
I wanna see someone put ar62s on new trucks
Definitely get some xcomps!! Baby squat would look good!! I just bought me a set of gladiators with some wheels.
Thank you! U did what I was gonna ask you to do! I wanted to see those mud grapplers on the Chevy! Appreciate it! Looks good! Keep it up! & more tire less wheel! In my opinion!
Big side wall all day everyday! 🤘
If those alloy wheels were on the Chevy 🤤🤤
You should throw at least a 5 inch lift on baby squat to change it up. Oh yeah and some 35’s
5 inch lift only in the front is was he means😉
That would cause major rubbing in the fenders when turning if he kept those 12 wides with -44 offset and put 35's on them. Would look sick of course but you need at least a 7 inch lift or more to clear those specs.
Diesel Douche that’s why I said at least a 5. He can choose whatever he wants based on how much rubbing he cares about
Another banger video during our Alabama lockdown 🤘🤘 keep it up brother
Small wheel big sidewall
Loving these videos good job!!
Yes please do it
Small wheel, trying to run that same wheel with either a mud grap or bfg at in a 33x12.5 on my 2000 lariat
Smaller wheel big tire. I have a 21 ram 3500. They’re gonna be awesome. Went with 17’s polished. 35 inch tires
Small rim and of sidewall for me
I honestly hated big wheels on trucks, but I’ve grown to actually dig them! ( depends on the set up )
Was hoping for a performance comparison vs just size and weight and look comparison.
Those black wheels look so clean on Larry
Might get the set up for my 02 ford
I think Larry’s wheels would look good on baby Squat
U need to put the bullet holes on the Chevy it’s gunna look sick🤙🏽
Extremely popular in USA. Never see wheels like that anywhere else
It actually looks really good if they were traded
In my opinion leave those low pros for sports cars. A truck in my opinion looks dope with MO MEAT🤙🏽
Can you tell us how much these wheel and tire weigh?
Did anyone notice the ray Charles windows on the white truck 😎
Filmed before I got pulled over unfortunately 😩
I think it's a generational thing. Both look good and I would have done the comparison on the front tbh. Maybe an 18 with a fat tire
More tire less wheel is the only way to go!
When are you getting that McGaughys for the front
32.8x12r16... xcomps r sweet! mud grapplers look like dog treats 😆 if you check my truck out you can get an idea what yours kinda look with x’s 👍👍👍 never mind I was skipping back n forth on video n was thinking u said xcom on Larry
Yes! Xcomps on Baby Squat!!!!!
Those 36 with the low pros ain’t getting out of no small mud pit. The 16’s are more practical.
The Grapplers would look nice on the Chevy if the wheels were black. Both look good tho.
Great vid, really loved the weigh-in! Most often I hear the exact opposite, "more rubber-bigger tire, more weight." Here is my question, the 94K Q! how is the ride? I’d go with a 18 inch. It improves ride quality.
I like Larry’s on baby squat as well as baby squats on Larry’s
I like small (steel) rims and big tires, not only are they very functional. But they look manly and cool.
I like the rims on the F150 and the taller sidewall tires. Better ride quality better off road capability and not having to worry about scuffing your wheels. I'm not big into modding trucks by putting any big wheel and tire setup on them but despite what might be the "In thing" I know I want my truck to function over form. Switch them 😍
Larry is freaking Awesome 🤤 keep up the great content
Old school..
I'm old school.. I prefer a thicker meatier tire than the rubberbands
Do you think that 305/70/16 would have a good fit on 16x7s?
Just bought a brand new 22 Explorer and it has 21 inch wheels on it I’d like a half an inch sidewall I would like to put the smallest wheel I can on it and the biggest tire I cannot to help the ride would you happen to know of a chart or how I can find out what rim or wheel will fit on it it does have the oversize big red brake calipers but there’s 2 inches a space between the brake and the rim that’s on it now so I’m sure I can do something better do you have any suggestions?
I've seen bigger wheels on tundra tdr pro compared to the regular tundra sr. Does wheel size matter for offroad?
Went with the poor boy stretch on those Chevy tires.
If you actually put the correct width tire on those wheels, it would look better, drive better, the tires would last a lot longer AND you wouldn’t have curb rash problems.
Which setup is more comfortable to daily? I bet the bigger tire and smaller wheel rides better
You honestly can't tell a difference. The 22s ride better than the stock ones too me.
Larry needs some 20x12's. it would look sick with some stance
Love your vids man. You should definitely put a sound system in larry.black wheels look frickin mint on Larry too. I just bought those headlights too. Mud grapes on baby squat wheels would look mint.you should switch them and rock it for a few weeks
Did you need aftermarket lugs for your ballistic wheels? I have a sierra 2014
Does the big wheel/small tire combo handle better?
You should totally get adapters for both trucks an swap the wheels for a day or so
Yes get the gladiators for baby squat
I love the bubba truck look fuck all them flashy wheels
The more sidewall the better. You can keep your rubber bands.
Get black wheels for Larry 🤩
I love my gladiators. I think they’re better in mud than my old mud grapps😳
Alabama Cateye XCOMPS 👍That’s what I have 37x13.5r20 not super best in snow, center syped mine, awesome in the mud and really smooth and quiet down the highway 🛣

What do you think about fuels? Thinking about getting some 20x10’s on 33’s
I like fuel wheels, they make several models i would definitely run!
What's the radius of the tires on baby squat
Since you mentioned the Gladiator X comp, have you seen the federal xplora mt....it’s different...if I got a Tesla cyber truck I would run xplora mts
Gonna get roasted here. But dang round those fenders out.
F150 is the real truck in this video, chevy looks like a rice box.
I’m thinking abt putting sum of those ions into my leveled f150 but I already have 1.75 in spacers I would’ve if the -38 would be too much to what
I run a 305/70r17 (17x12) on a 2012 Ford raptor
Im trying ro find 16 rims for my 2009 Ford F150 so I can take the 16 in riew KO2 from my 2002 chevy and put on the Ford rims. I am research 16 rims on the Ford trying to see who has done what I want to do. I want the fat sidewall
What is your take on the Ram TRX Concept? If I could drive I'd personally drive one.
Atturo trail blade boss’s r similar to mud grapplers ....ish 355/40r20
I love the videos man keep up the great work and videos u should post more ?
Are those polished or chrome wheels on the 10th gen?
What is the lift on your Silverado? And how many inches?
Throw those black wheels on the Ford back it up 40 ft. And set it on fire.
Get the gladiators for the 22s . I’ve been wanting to get them too but my toyos are like new still 😭
I’ve got those ion alloys on my 05 2500 Chevy. Sprayed them black. I went through several 20s and never liked the look. I wanna be able to drive anywhere. 20-22s ain’t made for that.
Old school bubba style
What kind of tires do you have on the white truck and do they make a lot of noise on the road
Bro I fuckin miss the duramax
Which one weighs more??
Can you put a 31 ×10.5 r15 on a 16 in rim?
Meaty sidewall for life
Hey man what lift kit is on your Silverado
What lug pattern are the ballistic wheels
Ill save everyone time, if its going to see any dirt go for a smaller rim, if its a pavment princess than whatever you figure looks better, but do not go offroading if you go for big wheels you will have major issues and damage your wheel or tire
Anything over 18 is mall crawler
Get the tint re-done on baby squat??
Are the ion alloy loud when your driving ?
305/70s are supposed to be 33x12 even and 285/75s is supposed to be 33x11.5.
