Yeah, I know, but it's not always possible to do that unfortunately. Thought it would be good to have a look around the landscape gardens though. Thanks again :)
Beautiful parkland, definitely a hidden gem, maybe needing a little tlc though. The Blairs still live there I believe, in the South Pavilion. Another house & gardens that you may find interesting is Ferne House Dorset, owned by the Daily Mail owner. Garden open days usually happen in the Summer. And Cottesbrooke Hall in Northamptonshire is also worth a visit!
Hi, are you a member of Historic Houses? They are mostly privately owned in my opinion, and membership allows free entry to many of their interiors; some are by tours, and some free-flow. We very much enjoy watching your video commentaries. Thanks and Regards JB
Hello. No, I'm not currently a member, but I'm looking into doing it one year and getting some value out of it. Maybe next year, or the year after it. I've been looking at the houses that they give access to. I'm glad you enjoy my videos, I'll probably have a new one up in the next week or so. Thanks a lot, Adam :)
Thank you very much, Adam. I am intrigued by your accent, from which part of the UK are you from? For the pronunciation of a couple of words, I would say Scotland but I am not sure. Regards.
It's a place called Dudley in the West Midlands (in England). My accent is called the 'Black Country' accent after the area i live in which used to be very industrial so the air and buildings were always black with smoke etc. Thanks again for watching from so far away, Adam :)
I checked on the following link earlier this year. Usually Wednesday afternoons from April as you can see on the link. Check back early next year to see if they change days or times. Thanks again for watching. It's a lovely quiet place to have a look around. Adam :) www.visitheritage.co.uk/things-to-do/wotton-house-p683881
@@KS-oc4hu Wow, you're doing well there! I've done quite a few and a couple of years ago decided to start videoing my visits instead of just taking photos. There's something so fascinating about these estates that keeps me wanting to explore them. Have fun, Adam :)
It was something about the amounts of carp that had been caught or something like that. It definitely mentions carp. I think that bit of the side of the lake has been used for fishing at some point. Adam :)
Wow, what views. But then, Capability Brown! Thanks for sharing such a lovely walk.
You're very welcome! Thanks for watching, again :)
So nice, thank You. Love watching You driving. Even when driving on the wrong side. 😘
That's very kind! Glad you enjoyed it, Adam :)
Palatial grounds, but to be honest , would have loved a peek inside the manor. Cool upload all the same Adam!
