It has already been said in other comments, but I want to say again that you made this song easier to learn with your breakdown, thanks for the lesson.
You make it look fairly straight forward and easy. I'll have to give it a go sometime. I've never really played much thrash metal even though I've listened to it for 25 years or so but I did learn 'Suffer The Children' by Napalm Death years ago purely for the speed picking and quick changes. This should be ok once I get the changes down and that slower riff.

Hands down, the best warm up for Tremelo picking is the main riff from Misrilou. You dont have to focus much with the left hand, and you have insentive to keep the speed because its a good song

He had a few Charvels he used to bring over to do lessons with - one was a Charvel San Dimos I believe and this one. most of this is correct however the middle part is not - it's E E E F E - - - - E F - - A A#
i know it's a small mistake but that's one of the most headbanging riffs ever you must play it right

If you cant get that chug down in a Slayer riff you're not playing Slayer and ill tell you man I am only a couple years younger then Kerry King and played my whole life and those Slayer riffs are a work out on the hands...

A great player,a great instructor but sorry to say the slower lyrics part of the song he has not got correct...Nothing like the way he instructs...It has to be: 0 0 0 1 0 0 0 0 0 0 1 0 0 and A5 A#5 and so on...
