No kidding I was refreshing for this video and just saw it 8 mins after upload. Thanks!!
Hope you enjoy! Condensed this one just a tiny so I hope it’s still good.
Regarding HHN... come early and see a movie. Why? The Universal AMC will refund $30 of your parking pass receipt or if it is less than $30 the movies are free. Just pay parking in cash so you don't get double charge on your card and have to wait for a refund.
Dillion I followed your advice last year and got to see all the houses, scare zones, terror tram, the stranger things bar above jurassic world, supernintendo world, a break at the plaza, squeeze in deatheaters and hogsmeade rides, saw the waterworld show and squeezed in the blumhouse showcase at dreamworks theatre. Whew!
How the
I’d say if you are doing early entry get Insidious out of the way first before going to the lower lot. I only say that because early entry the line for that house is already at 30 to 45 min and once the event is fully open the lines shot up to an hour or more. For example yesterday the wait times for that house was atleast 115 min wait at some point even more. It’s definitely the most popular house this year.
Great guide!! looking forward to seeing who you are scaring as this year! have a great season!!!
Thank you! Hope you enjoy the event this year!
So excited.... We got R.I.P.tickets for the Friday the 13th....... it was amazing getting to meet you at Midsummer Scream.... Thanks for taking the time for taking a picture with me...
Awesome! Thank you. Can't wait to hear which haunt you are working (after Halloween) 😅
Thank you for making this, love your content. Feeling sooo excited about this year’s event!!🎃
Thanks for the guide! I'm going in mid-September and I'm super excited. Gonna try the route you suggested!
Yay I've been waiting for this video!!! 😱☺️👻🎃🎃🎃
Thank you so much for the HHN advice! I will definitely follow!!!!
Thanks bro we are watching your video again !! because me and my brother are planning to go to Halloween horror nights in a few weeks. We're going to get the day/night 2 :00 p.m. Express tickets since we haven't been to universal studios in a while my question to you is once you get your wristband or whatever it is they give you after a while are you allowed to leave the park to go eat at CityWalk or no
Hi Dylan. Thanks so much for making this video. I recently asked on your 2023 post for this same guide. But was asking about this years. But anyways, I know Orlando does stay and scream but Hollywood doesn’t. So I’m wondering what will I do? I have 3 tickets. A general admission to HHN. A early access pass to HHN and I also have a daytime 8am regular park ticket all for that same day. So I’m wondering, when 4-430 hits and they start clearing people out for HHN. Will I be allowed to stay in the park or do I have to exit and get in line and will be let in at 530 for early access.
Here we go! Video of the year, thank you Dylan for the tips!
With the early entry houses this year not being all four in the bottoms lot… do you still recommend following the order of this video? Or is it better to do ghostbusters and insidious first then lower lot? Or reverse? Do I stop after TCM and Weekend and go to insidious and Ghostbusters or just finish out the lower 4?
I would also like to know the answer for this!
Thanks Dylan! Can't wait for Horror Nights this year!!😊🙌🏿👏🏾🕺🏽🎬🔪🎃💜💚🐲
Thank you for the update and information helps out a lot !!
You’re very welcome
Themeparkobession maybe you can answer my question Me and my bro are planning to go in a few weeks and we're looking at buying the day/night 2pm express tickets for HHN since we haven't been in many years of to universal studios in a while we want to explore the park beforehand my question is do you get a wrist brand ? And are you allow to leave the park before HHN starts 😊 to go out to eat in city walk or how it goes?? Thank you have a good day keep up the work
I love Halloween and your videos of horror nights, i can't wait to find out if you're working this years events
All will be revealed in November 😁😁
Hey Dylan! Heading to HHN this weekend with early entry and express passes. Approximately how long would you be waiting with the express pass?
Not sure on that but it’s way less than standby.
Awesome!!! Thanks again Dylan for all the great info we’re all super excited and can’t wait to go on September 5 opening night!!! We did buy the unlimited express pass this year so we’re super excited!!! One of these times we’re definitely gonna buy the RIP ones! BTW you do such a amazing job at these videos, well all your videos, but especially these!!! 👏👏👍👍😊
Love the horror nights guide!! It helped me so much last year and I know it will help again for this year!👻Thank you Dylan!!
Glad I can help once again this year!
Good video! CityWalk looks so different! Thanks for the info
Thanks for the great info. Any word on if some of the mazes will be open early again?
Yup! Some will open in the lower lot starting at 5:30pm
This vid is now part of our family’s HHN tradition. Solid as always, Dylan.
Glad you are enjoying them every year!
My new annual tradition is going to HHN first then watching this video after to see if I did it right... I did! Thanks TPO!
Yay! Glad everything worked out and you had a good time. 😁
My contribution for your awesome HHN guide. Also to contribute to your tasty treat fund! Thanks Dylan!
Awe thank you so much!!! Always appreciate you ❤️
Great stuff! Thanks!
You should also do guides for other theme parks for the Halloween season, also really enjoy your vids 👍🏻
I have thought about it. I might do one for Knott’s. I’m so familiar with Uni so that’s why I always do one for HHN
if you buy a regular ticket for HHN, when I go to the booth to check in could I upgrade to a express ?
My bday is tomorrow- spending the day at the park- seeing Beetlejuice 2 at 3- back at the park for early entry horror nights and I’m set! So stoked - i was originally going to do express, but then i saw the season pass which was cheaper than the single day express and i can just divide up the areas over the next couple days/months and not feel rushed. Tomorrow with early entry will be lower lot mazes, drinks, Tram
Friday will be upper lot mazes, drinks and probably Tram again lol and Saturday shows and whatever returnee mazes- so excited!
Hope you had a happy happy birthday and hope you had a great night at the event!
Another thing about RIP (not sure if you mentioned it) is you get a special small group back lot tour with some special add-on experience. One year they let us roam around the old west lot and told ghost stories. Another year they had this cool walk-around the Jaws lake with scares, scareactors, and projection effects.
Great show Dylan 🎉
Thank you for this video! I didn’t even know early access add-on was available so I got it. Last time we went, we had a horrible time bc it was so crowded so I’m looking forward to utilizing these tips in a couple of weeks
Glad I could help out as always 😁
We went this weekend and used your tips. They were so helpful. We didn’t do Insidious and Ghostbusters though bc the line was just crazy long all night and by the time we got down there, we were just tired…but we had a good time.
I always lay out a plan before I go and yours is always the same!! Been going since 2011. Got my express for Sep 8th!!
Good ticket to have! Yeah I don’t really change up the order too much only because the houses downstairs open early. You could do it in reverse if you didn’t have early entry and start upstairs but it just depends.
Great video 😊
Happy you enjoyed it!
Thank you for all the recommendations, love your videos. But I'm wondering, does anybody know if kids are banned? I know it says on the website not recommended, my daughter's 10 and doesn't care she's not scared of anything. She used to watch Chucky when she was 3 years old, and all the paranormal activity movies. So I'm curious do they turn away kids? Or is it at the parents discretion?
You can bring her if you want. You just have to be ok with her being subjected to all of it.
@@ThemeParkObsessionDD oh she wants nothing more than to go with my wife and I. She loves scary things and jump scares. Nothing scrares this little girl, she absolutely loves Halloween. Thank you for your response, I was just afraid that if I bought her a ticket, and we got there, they would turn her away. But if it's just suggestion and not a requirement for kids 12 and under, then we're definitely going. Again I appreciate everything you do, we'll be there in probably 2 weeks. I'm going to try to avoid the crowds and go middle of the week. Love all your videos, and everything you do.
Absolutely crushed im not going this year. I ALMOST was and plans fell thru (dont rely and wait on others i guess). I will be watching every vid on hhn hollywood n orlando possible. Thanks for letting me live thru u guys on youtube. (Im in the uk fyi not la)
😂😂So you’re the one causing traffic I see! those clips with you as the driver is so funny🤣
I laughed so hard throughout this video. We need a themepark obsession shirt that says "Rebecca wants to get lit" 😂
Can you make a video on
Art's SideShow
Location MontClair Ca
I used your guide 2 years ago with great success! I moved and am trying out HHN Orlando this year. Interested in any recommendations for other creators with good tips or if you have any. Happy Horror Nights everyone!
Super excited just upgraded my universal Express into Universal Express unlimited ticket as of today now the experience is going to be 10 times fun for me and my two teenagers! Can’t wait to go for October 6th!💕🥰🔥
If I have a day ticket and an event ticket + early entry, can I leave the park for a break…Maybe around 1 or 2 pm and come back and re-enter the Park at around 4 pm with my day ticket? Will they allow re-entry before early entry starts, so I can then grab my early entry band inside the Park and make my way to the lower lot?
Hope to visit this year ❤❤🎉😊
Question..i recently became disabled due to some medical issues but i wanna go so bad! Do they rent the ECV’s for HHN? Or have you seen people able to use them in the mazes?
LOL! Your Rebecca is spot on! 😂❤
Glad you enjoyed that lol
Dillon, I got the Horror Nights pass, because sometimes, just like Scary Farm, I just want to do a couple of mazes and skedaddle 😅 I think this is my favorite option so you don’t feel rushed, overwhelmed by large crowds, and you can even choose a day to go on rides. Plus, it’s very affordable. I think I paid $209 for mine. As a disclaimer, I cannot go on Fridays and Saturdays after the second week of October, but still, a great value!
Hi theme park obsession. Still looking for an answer on this. Hopefully you can help. I know Orlando does stay and scream but Hollywood doesn’t.
You should be able to stay in the park but grab your wristband up in the front near the fountain.
Me and my family usually finish the lower lot by 9pm ❤😊
We got the Chucky Show Back!!!! Yessssssss
Yup! I didn’t mention it in today’s video but an original Q&A show will be hosted by Chucky in the DreamWorks Theater.
Alr we gotta talk about Dylan’s plan because that is just not gonna work most of the time. What you really wanna do is if you can, get to the park early as hell. Last year I got there at 4-5 pm so I could be towards the front for the opening show. From there you would want to go to a quiet place and monstros2 first because what Dylan forgot to mention is that the early entrance is only for the lower lot so walking straight down there is like wishing to not get everything done. After you do those two mazes you’re going to want to go to Hogwarts for ghost busters and insidious. From there you might want to rush to the terror tram because if I do remember correctly I think it always closes around 12 pm. From there you can take a break if you want for a bit then start heading down to the lower lot. From here it really is little to no wait times because the majority of people have already done the lower lot. This does work the majority of the time but depending on the night you may have to tweak a few things. I have never done this with general admission because I always get express but I do see the general wait times and it does seems possible
A majority of the time heading downstairs early is going to be your best bet. You have one major IP downstairs vs 2 upstairs so that’s why I still think it’s good to head downstairs first.
Nearly all the upper lot stuff won’t open until 7 and that includes the scare zones so if you’re there early it’s a good move.
What should I do it I am going on a saturday with general admission and no express. How do i make the most out of my day?
I explain in the video how to do the order.
Last year, my first time going, i went to the lower lot first and the queues were mad so we waited an hr for exorcist which was the longest i waited all night and regretted it bc it was easily the worst house! I was worried i wouldn’t get to do st or tlou but thankfully they both went down to 30 and i waited 25 mins. I did in fact do the rides bc it was only the 2nd time id ever been to uni hollywood, didnt know if id ever get to come back, there was 0 wait anyway. I did only 4 houses which sucks so bad. Monstrous wait went down, clearly everyone had the same idea and once i was there it went up to 60 mins and the park was closing in 30 so i just left 😢 also had no time to eat Halloween food
Do you know what kind of accommodations they make for people with disabilities because I’m thinking of going and it’s very difficult for me to stand in long lines because somebody may accidentally touch me or bump into me and that will cause excruciating pain. When this is all over, are you going to show us, your costume and make up and everything so we can at least see how you look while you were working there.?
I will show who I am in November.
And yeah my best bet is to visit guest relations at the start of your night and get some assistance with a disability pass. You’ll be able to get a return time for a house that way you won’t have to wait in a long line.
Can I upgrade to express pass admission on arrival at the park? dispite already having purchased general admission?
Yeah they usually do upgrades throughout the night when you’re already in the park.
14:53 I literally pissed my pants with the valley girl accent 😂😅 def should add more humour to the channel cause that was funny!! If your from Cali you get it..
Spooky season begins when we get the survival guide
Heck yeah! If you’re going I hope you have a great time!
Dylan, I know you're too young to remember this but there was a day when we had full access to all the events and the ticket price was a whopping $50 we worked hard to get that money now it's $400 to $500 how do you all do it
You caused the traffic jams, lol. Also, how to survive the roast from chucky.
I’m wondering if it will be a full on roast or something a little different.
How long does the horror nights last?
Until November 3rd
Well done 👏 ✔️ 👍 👌 😊
Thank you thank you!
We have gold annual pass and bought general admission HHN can we get in early using our gold pass and general pass to HHN so we can start doing the houses @5:30pm?
Do you know if you gotta pay for parking?
Yeah you have to pay for parking.
I can't remember from last year, are only a couple houses open woth early admission or is it all of lower lot open with early?
Lower lot houses will be the ones that open early if it’s like previous years.
Does the RIP tour ticket come with access to Super Nintendo World? It says not included.
It is included. 😁
Where can i buy parking tickets?
I believe you have to buy the parking at the park.
I wish I had someone to go with because I would love to do the RIP tour.
It’s such a good ticket to have.
which houses open early?
No details on that just yet but if I was to guess it will be the lower lot houses.
Have you purchased your ticket for HHN already? :)
First timer visit observations. Screens every where bad for my vertigo very limited what I could do. Also why does pets have such tiny seats and restraints for such a tame ride one of the few I hope I could ride. Food was better than I thought we would get. The tram was awesome. Sorry we missed you.
🎉🎉11.5🎉🎉
Hope you like todays video
Can someone help me? I don't know what costumes are allowed to horror nights my friend group wants to go as teen titans
The Universal website should have all the details.
🎉🎉2🎉🎉
Yay!
Terror Tram Blumhouse Movies
You should’ve mentioned if people could dress up in costume and go in period
Costumes are typically not allowed unless on a designated day. I wouldn’t wear a costume just to play it safe.
Like this comment if you remember when early entry was free some years ago lol
WAIT SO SUPER NINTENDO WORLD IS AVIABLE FOR R.I.P!!!
11:23 something that escapes your "gays"
Let's FN GOOOOOOOOO
Yessss!!!!
is it a must to say hi to mario lopez when entering HHN? 😐
Yes, or they won’t let you in lol
Love the video and want some tips on starting a vlog channel for me and Michael are thinking of moving to Florida just us together someday and want to meet you some day at Disney land and Bashgarders in November
Thanks as always for tuning in!
No way was you there today??
Don’t dilly dally Dylan says!! 😅
HHN 2024 🎃
The event is not going to be scary
The only scary thing in the event is going to be is the TICKET PRICES & FOOD PRICES 😣😢😭.
All the mazes are original
I was meaning IP vs Original.
@@ThemeParkObsessionDD that's why Hollywood horror nights came back because of the popularity of I.P that's how John murdy rejuvenated the event
Idk how I feel about Rebecca, I’m Rebecca
Rebecca makes the most fun choices.
First
Yay! Hope you enjoy the video.
21:32 then they need to say that, it's ridiculous that children should be SCREAMED at for getting within 3 feet of the Norman bates actor when there's no clear signage or rules agaisnt it.
Lines are for the common people. The only proper way to do Hollywood Horror Nights is RIP on the last tour of the night! Anything less is uncivilized!!!
I mean RIP is like one of the best tickets to get. It’s amazing.
