Yup After 3 years in a tow at Hollywood Im so done with HHN. Jump scares are annoyiny repeated audio in every maze. Every maze is loud and bright. No mood dark, quiet time to even get scare. Im going to Knotts this year.

I also left after doing this from a panic attack because I didn’t take my anxiety meds and my brain gaslighted me to thinking I was gonna get hurt, or die in the moment because it looked SO real.🙃😔😦

Honestly, I wasn’t entirely impressed this year. Jump scares weren’t it, the lack of SFX makeup and replacing it with mask that weren’t tucked in at some scenes was definitely not the move. I feel like this year was the year of trying things out…
its because this is media night, a special night where all influencers and folk of the sort can record the houses. You are not allowed to record any other night.
@@aluwartnot a lack of budget I don't think, but definitely giving in to what the general public enjoys rather than genuine HHN and horror fans in general. I'll give props to Slaughter Sinema 2, because it took a classic formula (walkthrough of different movies) but added its own charm, each movie with its own distinct and imaginative theming (lol Zyborgs). I really love the actor in the Mardi Gras section that was just vibing on the couch. Triplets of Terror was also great. The true crime podcast framing device was genius and super well-done. The layout was surprisingly unpredictable and kept you on your toes! And the triplets were genuinely scary lol. Disappointed with the majority of these houses, however. They felt lazy and cookie cutter. Similar layouts, indistinct theming, predictable and unimaginative scares, shoddy and same-y costuming, cheesy and repetitive audio lines. It's a flop for me. I went to a local haunted house recently with comparable production design, but even better scares, acting, and theming (Cheaper animatronics were used to great effect, the actors were good at hiding and there wasn't just a bunch of obvious fabric and vacant holes they'd pop out of, there were opportunities to get lost while trying to excape stalker actors--so fun!)
I remember when people went to haunted houses to adventure and have an experience as guests…. Not have literally everyone walking through be a camera man.
The good news is that guests will still be able to enjoy it without any cameras when walking through the houses at Universal Orlando. This was filmed during media night where a select group of outlets get to film inside the houses.
The whistling in the background for the El Silbon part in the latin american monsters was so eerie. But that's what makes him so unsettling. He whistles and carries a bag of bones
Your videos are amazing! Thank you for doing them. Any chance of a scare zone compilation video like this one of the houses from both Florida and California? Thanks again for the great work!
If I'm going to be completely honest, this year was great, I have absolutely no idea why people are trash talking it like crazy when they haven't even been?
Most of those people expected things like Nightmare on Elm Street, Five Nights at Freddy’s, Creature from the Black Lagoon, Megan Scream, It, Gremlins, etc or all Originals and no IPs at all. It’s find to have opinions but don’t ruin the event for others who want to experience the Ip houses. Other reasons is probably because those people never seen any of the IPs featured or just outright hate them.

I'm gonna be fr i went there yesterday on a Sunday night UNEXPECTEDLY because my dad told me we were gonna go run a few Arends and i was like "ok cool lets go" like its an average Sunday but why tf was my mom and sister laughing i assumed they were watching those goofy ahh Facebook reels videos and well put on some shoes and left the house and during the drive i asked my dad "why are we driving all the way to Orlando to go grocery shopping but then EVERYTHING WENT DOWN WHEN I SAW THE UNIVERSAL ENTRANCE i never expected that at all i mean not one bit my dad is always up with these unknown surprise shenanigans 💀💀but like i said spooky month is coming soon so my dad is gonna be full of surprises ANYWAYS :3 we did a lot of stuff that night like go into a few houses like insidious goblins feast and monstruous tbh goblins feast made my scream the most since i have a huge flesh fear and when we got home my dad said he has never laughed that hard in forever and so was my mom and sister since they knew THIS ALL THIS TIME and that was also my first extreme halloween event i went to and im planning on hitting the one at seaworld but this time im bringing more people besides just my dad 💀
there were so many great possibilities this year with the house themes and they just kinda fell flat
0:10 I know those (word-of-the-day) calves anywhere! King Pugh!
This is pretty awesome. I’m not going to horror nights this year so this video is the next best thing
Thank you for this video! It’s more entertaining when you don’t show where people jump out at or if you don’t keep your camera on an actor and just kept the camera forward and kept walking. I know, beggars can’t be choosers.
I have to watch videos from media day cuz they run me through like it's a track meet! Thanks...be there Wed-Sat and I now know what to pay attention to!
While the set design for Monstruos at HHN Orlando is fantastic i gotta say when it comes to scares and story Hollywood did it so much better
Id be down for a Mister Sweets Candy Factory movie :)
I thought the same for Bugs: eaten alive
I’d love to see the Deadly Exhibit get a film adaptation, it kinda reminds me of Night of the Museum.. keyword kinda since none of the exhibits were possessed by a living stone.
At least I think that’s what the Rotting Stone is supposed to be..
Take notes, Universal!
Better yet, they should bring back the Universal Monsters franchise. The mazes are fire that they make me want movies based on them
The Golbin's Feast was just odd. Regular team members just standing next to trolls, looking bored, with one "human" pleading for help. I feel it would of been better if they just wore goblin masks themselves.
The only place to get the best POVs.
*Edit" That's it I need to see the new Ghostbusters
I’m not even going to lie 13:08 scared me
Huh? What scared you?
@@graymoreghostthe thing running lmao
I feel you 😂😂
I've watched about five of these and you have my favorite video quality ! Can see everything clearly and shots aren't so tight (I always feel like I'm missing peripheral details, or can't see an entire scene at once).
I absolutely agree. With every video. He is always so steady as well :D . With other walkthroughs i mostly get motionsick ,but not on this channel ☺
i wish that they could include the five nights at freddy's characters from the first movie but maybe next year a five nights at freddy's house will come to halloween horror nights.
after that a beetlejuice attraction.
Keep dreaming matey for as much as I enjoy the FNAF franchise, it’s not coming to HHN anytime soon for Universal reached out to Scott to include it but he declined plus Blumhouse isn’t just about Five Nights at Freddy’s.
This is so cool! I love that they have so much that isn't IP-related.
Lots of scares in these rooms, but nothing can surpass the terror of thinking about dozens of corporate board meetings, hundreds of hours of set design, months of meticulous construction, hiring aspiring actors and fitting them for wardrobe and training them to execute highly specific actions that rely on cues created by untold teams of seasoned industry professionals...only to round the corner and come face to face with the most bored looking 17-year-old employee on the planet, forced to stand in place for hours and experience an endless cycle of sights and sounds in the name of 12 bucks an hour, fated to wallow in the empty avarice of late stage capitalism as they point you toward the nearest exit. Spooky season!
This was perfect 😭🤣
Cool! Saw a bunch of things I made in these!
Yup After 3 years in a tow at Hollywood Im so done with HHN. Jump scares are annoyiny repeated audio in every maze. Every maze is loud and bright. No mood dark, quiet time to even get scare. Im going to Knotts this year.
32:22 I have emetophobia and I went on this house and got VERY TRIGGERED by the vomiting noises, same thing for insidious but it smelled very sweet and nice. I also left after doing this from a panic attack because I didn’t take my anxiety meds and my brain gaslighted me to thinking I was gonna get hurt, or die in the moment because it looked SO real.🙃😔😦
I kinda liked Ghostbusters Frozen Empire. Sure its not a scary maze, but the set pieces are on point in my opinion. I also wasn't excited about Insidious because that franchise fell off after the first movie, but the maze looks like a blast
6:39 oh my god i thought someone brought their baby in for a sec 😭
Why even have live actors at this point? They don't even get a chance to act, they have to stick to a recording. Might as well replace then with AI if you're gonna do that. I've always had universal studios HHN on my bucket list but seems like I don't need to anymore unfortunately.
Ok but I actually liked eternal blooodlines! It’s not the best house but I really liked the story!
I was there for Ghostbusters Frozen Empire.
Thanks for the awesome fudge🎥 vary good🙋✌👏
Honestly, I wasn’t entirely impressed this year. Jump scares weren’t it, the lack of SFX makeup and replacing it with mask that weren’t tucked in at some scenes was definitely not the move. I feel like this year was the year of trying things out…
Insidious seemed like the best trail
Glad I chose to stay home this year
love the like 30 (exaggeration) other guys filming
its because this is media night, a special night where all influencers and folk of the sort can record the houses. You are not allowed to record any other night.
Awesome Haunted House walkthrough videos as always!
Gotta be honest HHN this year is looking like a snooze
Yeah, is it the lack of actors or lack of a budget?
@@aluwartdefinitely neither this is an insane multi million dollar investment, whoever decided on this and built these did a terrible job
@@aluwartnot a lack of budget I don't think, but definitely giving in to what the general public enjoys rather than genuine HHN and horror fans in general. Also I guess the lack of actors could be pinned on this being a media event before the actual event kicked off. Who knows though, I wasn't there lol
Yeah the houses are pretty tame compared to previous years.
me and my brother 17 and 12 did the insidious house and we've never screamed so loud the cast members were laughing so hard at us 😂😂😂
I'll give props to Slaughter Sinema 2, because it took a classic formula (walkthrough of different movies) but added its own charm, each movie with its own distinct and imaginative theming (lol Zyborgs).
18:50 I can confirm this is a real legend
I remember when people went to haunted houses to adventure and have an experience as guests…. Not have literally everyone walking through be a camera man.
The good news is that guests will still be able to enjoy it without any cameras when walking through the houses at Universal Orlando. This was filmed during media night where a select group of outlets get to film inside the houses.
@@Attractions360 well I feel sheepish. Thanks for the clarification. Just see so much of it these days it’s hard to tell
I was thinking the same thing until I saw his reply lol. So glad that was clarified because I was sitting here like “this is what we’ve come to” 🤣
The Van Helsing maze was cool but the ending was abrupt. What happened? Did she die?
The whistling in the background for the El Silbon part in the latin american monsters was so eerie. But that's what makes him so unsettling. He whistles and carries a bag of bones
words cant express how freakin scared it was inside insidious, but it was so damn fun!
happy Halloween! 👻 🎃 to everyone spooky season is almost here get lots of candy 🍫
Knotts scary farm is still the best
While watching, I was trying to count and compare number I thought was human actor vs animatronic machine. Hard to choose with some of them.
Thank you so much. I just got done going home after there. I didn’t go in any of them because I was such a wuss, but my cousin did.
Your videos are amazing! Thank you for doing them. Any chance of a scare zone compilation video like this one of the houses from both Florida and California? Thanks again for the great work!
Insidious was crazyyyy🔥🔥🔥🔥
If I'm going to be completely honest, this year was great, I have absolutely no idea why people are trash talking it like crazy when they haven't even been?
Most of those people expected things like Nightmare on Elm Street, Five Nights at Freddy’s, Creature from the Black Lagoon, Megan Scream, It, Gremlins, etc or all Originals and no IPs at all. It’s find to have opinions but don’t ruin the event for others who want to experience the Ip houses. Other reasons is probably because those people never seen any of the IPs featured or just outright hate them.
Why aren’t there new Universal Monsters films that are based off of all of the original idea haunted houses?
Sis Treat at 32:50 hasn’t memorized her lines completely just yet LOL and Sis Treat at 34:14 needs moar passion in delivering those lines while Sis Treat at 35:41 nailedt every bit of those lines, that’s how you do it. You’ve got this! You’ve got a couple moar months of fun! I know her name is Miss Treat but Sis Treat is saur funny! 😆
Also, Eleven from Stranger Things at 33:57 doesn’t have a house this year but they still utilized her. That’s so… SWEET! 🍬 HAHAHA.
I’ll save my money this year and put it towards my first epic universe trip instead😅 pretty unimpressive compared to earlier years. They’ve really diluted the “horror” aspect of Halloween Horror Nights
It’s sad that literally everyone walking through the haunted house is more focused on filming it, rather than experiencing it.
I think this was a media day. They were all invited specifically to film and take photos
And yet you are here watching their videos
Dude be fr lmao
This is a media event where you can film the houses any other day you can't film in the houses
A selected group of people were invited out by Universal Orlando and were giving permission to film during media day opening night. We were following in group hence why you see so many cameras.
Orlando do a great job on the haunted houses. soo realistic. enough to give me nightmares 🎃💀👻
No amount of money could get me to walk through one of these with even my eyes closed and ears covered!!
Some people in short sleeves reminds me of Kyle
Kage from tenacious D movie and some people like me in their long sleeves reminds me of Jack Black in tenacious D Movie
What camera do you use to record it? I tried my iphone and it was too dark there
I found the ghostbusters to be less scary but the tall creature did chill me a bit
Breathing in the smoke made me lightheaded sometimes but I had a ton of fun, especially insidious, that was was really good and pretty scary
Glad I passed this year. I agree with most other folks; strikes me as weak. Kudos as always to the scare actors, though!
I wanna go into the quiet place one and scream as loud as i can randomly 😂
I’m sorry but the random park workers make it even less scary
Why don't they do this in October though?
After so long watching these kinds of videos I still don’t know how the camera man doesn’t get scared or scream
30:22 goblins feast is getting ready for the DnD event in 2025
Wow super 🧟♀️😳🥴😎
Bro if they cause harm you sue em. Thats how I get through haunted houses.
The tickets get more and more expensive each year and the production design gets worse.
the goblin one is really good
The one rusty looking room inside of The museum really made me feel like I was gonna have a seizure, but other then that the rest was amazing
