I agree... There's a reason other sports use green screens for any signage near the field/court instead of dynamic images on an led board. The broadcast can put whatever they want up without distracting the players. That said, I rewatched all of the points where tellez complained, and the board never changed mid point. It was changing in between points. He was genuinely getting upset over nothing.
Oh and another reason to use green screens (though obviously not green) is that when you point a camera at a video screen there will almost always be discrepancies in frame rates/refresh rates which create artifacting in the recorded video. You can see this as bands of black scanning slowly across the video boards, especially on a closeup.
And can we please, pretty please, stop moving the camera around?? Feels like I'm watching this on a boat. We don't need cinematic movements in pickleball. It's not a movie. Please??? 🙏 😊😬
Should have been a fault, but they lost that game anyway, so didn't matter. If they would have won that game with an obvious foot fault, that's a different story.
