The Cinelli Vigorelli Shark was banned from the velodrome because of the fin under the bb.

I take it this means you don't have the Vigorelli steel anymore if you're going to be racing on the BMW. What made you get rid of it? I have a steel Vigorelli myself (black night) and was always curious about the shark. Do you think they're very different bikes? Is the shark a lot stiffer for racing?
The shark feels more “alive” than the steel.
So… yes id say they are completely different.
Stiffer? I am not sure, but snapier for sure.
