Dude the Boomers Bullied US so Hard, and still Do... Most of my Bullies have been Boomers! And still are, my Boomer Rich Liberal Summer Home Neighbor was making Fun of me at the Gas Station and Kept calling me Brandy! When he 100% knows that's not my name and was smirking and smiling way to much to ever think he didn't know exactly what he was doing. Here's the Thing, they are our Parents, and have Power over US, they out Number every other Generation and have since childhood, and took over the Secret Societies, and they don't let us in, and they've designed society to bleed our generation dry for there Profits. They lock US up at a multiple fold higher rate than they were, in For Profit Prisons they have Stock in or Pension Stock in, they have US paying Social Security, that we in Turn won't get, the whole system was designed for 80 years, it's a Boomer Ponzi Scheme on US, and they weren't even nice enough to have enough kids so it could keep going before it Bursts! The Boomers have left US with 30 Trillion in Debt! They Robbed our Generation and the next 2 or 3! The Boomer is Pure Evil!

Why do they need the Anti our Generation Propaganda? To Justify and Validate what they've done to our Generation and the Next X amount! 30 Trillion Dollars in Debt so the Boomers can live a Life Style the Rest of US Mathmatically Can't!

The Boomer Had to Embezzle my Education Funds and Completely Refuse me an Education, as for 15 Years till I learned to become my own lawyer, first having to learn how to write 1st! In my Mid Twenties, Self Taught! And Eventually learning the Law and Slaughtering Careers as I had back and forth messages with the Gov-Ner! All they did was Arrest me for No Reason and the Boomers would just Refuse me a Trial! We basically didn't have trails were I came from, they Arrest you often over nothing, put you in jail for weeks (to keep it full per Private Contracts with their Pensions Tied into the For Profit Prisons Systems besides the Contractual Penalities if the place wasn't full) than give you time served and a fine, make you take the Deal, and they'll just not give you trial, and just keep arresting you, to beating you, till you take the Deal! All Boomers! And Guess What, all those Boomers, go to the Same Lodge! And our Generation isn't supposed to know all about that, otherwise we wouldn't be their Slaves! I don't have Rights... I'm just a Slave to the Boomer who's Broken Free and is Rebellion!

That the coming elections in November will switch the country towards Republican policies. While reverting presidential decrees that are poisonous to the USA and the world.

Almost all legacy media are reporting highly crafted propaganda as fed to them by the neocon deep state bent on the destruction of Russia using Ukraine bodies and Western armaments with the traditional lies of defending democracy. The hypocrisy is immense look no further than the utter destruction of Iraq the rape of Libya the ravaging of Syria all with lies resulting in the creation of Isis with millions displaced and dead. Remember Afghanistan? 20 years and abandoned with billions of $$ equipment left behind intact. Do you remember the mountain of lies told to us?

In the 1980s, R&D funding was easy to get, so boomers lapped it up and became "experts." Then when R&D budgets began to dry up, boomers still got what was left because they were the experts. Younger researchers trying to build expertise got almost nothing. The worst part is that the boomers thought they were brilliant, when really they were just lucky to get when the getting was good. I had a job where I wore a lot of hats. I fixed our internal servers, we sold equipment so I'd help smaller companies that got in over there heads, I helped salesman plan what to sell and participated in numerous sales calls usually selling more than originally planned, and created new products like a NAS box that did more than Open-E at the time using free software so was cheaper. To this day they sell that box.
Problem is sales got credit for all the sales whether I was on or it included new products, and internal IT is seen as a cost not benefit. So come a downturn only thing the new counters saw is money that came in directly from hourly support to customers in over their heads. Many times salesman would include some 'Free Hours' which made it worse. So I cost x$ but only brought in y$ so I had to go.

Japan's extreme fuel shortages, brought on by the U.S. in the early 1940s (to deter them from expanding their war on their neighbors and China in the Pacific) caused them to attack Pearl Harbor and start WW2 for us. The US has a host of advantages that they can and eventually will loose, from the dollar as reserve currency to fossil fuels to military expenditure. Like his prediction of food shortage - there was a counter to that, that we already produce way more food than we need. Except a lot of it goes into feeding cattle. So worse comes to worst, it's the cattle that die hungry not humans.

It was a system that worked, but again it is a hard life. My grandfather died at 52 of a stroke while working in the fields. When he didn't come to lunch, my grandmother walked the fields until she found him. This crushed her because without a man back then, running a farm is very hard. She had to sell up. An end to an era. And for the record, they had NO GUNS. Where is all this paranoia coming from, the right wing? Fox and Q have damaged this nation like nothing else since WW2.

Ive been binging on PZ lately and I, in all honesty, appreciate his general, pragmatic approach, but i just cant ignore his underlying tone that pretends working wages are fair or up to par with inflation (which will only increase and is here to stay). I just hope all the transitions he talks about will actually come to fruition. GODSPEED TO ALL 🙏🏼

In Germany 🇩🇪 we are not taking it very serious at the moment. We have big discussions about the energy problem, but demographic comes far behind energy and climate. How can we deal with it in a prosperous way? Are there possibilities? It is just breathtaking how rapidly everything changes probably several times during just one generations period

I work at air seperation units. We have 100s in the usa. And not just at steel mills. My company does not make neon due to the roi for building the infrastructure needed. But its all low tech stuff. With the price going up, management could have us producing it within the year if the $$ was there.

Neon is the fifth most abundant element in the universe. However, it is present in the Earth's atmosphere at a concentration of just 18 parts per million. It is extracted by fractional distillation of liquid air. This gives a fraction that contains both helium and neon.

That stuff about Russia being the only source for neon is a whopper. Anyone that has access to the planet's atmosphere can make it.

Mr. Zeihan can talk for an hour and terrify me more than any horror movie. His book, "The End of the World is Just the Beginning" was scary enough with the careful explanation of just the topics of famine and demographic collapse. Add in CoVid and the war on Ukraine and he makes me want to grab my survival GO bag and hide in the woods for the next two decades. I hope this entire presentation is COMPLETELY WRONG but world events are already heading the way he is predicting. Into the Woods.

      Hello John P
What is terrifying about what Peter Z is saying?
USA does not have the resources to own a unipolar world system & in a multipolar world -those countries with a significant population & population youth & sufficient local market will thrive -it is normal to expect a country with a significant population to be reasonably food self sufficient & have exports-tourism as *significant but not crucial in their economy* & naturally no country wants to be the world's producer like China was/is -but China's cheap exports *destroyed their cultivable land, led to reckless DEBT & urbanization* and selling at a loss meant the Chinese factory owner *send his/her ill gotten money out of China* , led to massive corruption & unwarrented non democratic ONE CHILD RULES & in 2022-2032 -everyone on Planet Earth will see the real face of China

You are Right -Will Christie & all these seem to be bits & pieces of longer presentations in lecture halls
In simple terms*the US Dollar is the last true asset of USA* and Covid has proved that *citizens in Anglo Saxon countries* have Zero Savings & after *current inflation* there is less incentive to save
China is reducing its population by 45% & has less incentive to *export cheap goods to western countries* & Countries like India have *no interest in replacing China in selling cheap goods* & their IT Service Exports are already 300 billion US dollars in 2021 & will touch 1000 million or 01 Trillion US dollars by 2030- so Western countries *need to step up production to meet the needs of their own people* & anyway prices & inflation will continue until 2032 at least

As an African, my answer to the qn at 1:06:54 was "none" even before she finished her sentence.
Peter Zeihan is right. There is a very long list of obstacles from geography to politics preventing us from connecting to international trade centers.
The cost of importing the infrastructure we need for manufacturing is painfully high, assuming zero taxes. And once the infrastructure has been imported and the manufacturing plants are running, the cost of production and cost to export makes our products too expensive to compete with China, India or Mexico. This is assuming stable politics, low cost of capital and skilled manpower, all of which we do not have.
It is possible that we could become self sufficient, all signs are pointing towards that, but becoming a major manufacturing hub the size of China won't happen on human timescales.
