- Ride along at 5:00 in the morning in West Hollywood with engine 8 from the Los Angeles County Fire Department to a reported house fire where some one has thrown molotov cocktails onto a roof. Engine and Squad had previously been dispatched to a medical call but while on scene the engine got redirected to the fire. Several other LACoFD units were sent to the call as well as the LAFD and the Beverly Hills fire department //

ive always been curious as how the setup for the driver is in those type of rigs, anybody have any shots?
@ford616 I agree with you! Not very common, especially for a cab-over! And it's not a rural / volunteer unit!
Every light is red. No preemption on the traffic lights? Also, I dig the old MDC console. Didn't think anyone was using those old beasts anymore.

At the top left corner near the Lightbar control there is a touchmaster tm4 Activated, but the electronic siren is not blaring tho even tho the touchmaster tm4 has a red light indacating that the siren is on, they have to push the wail or manual button in order for it to be actually on besides the video says 5am do you think LAC would put on the tm4 All loud at 5am with no traffic?

Hear in the Dallas area (texas) you have to get to the scene in 4 minutes. They won't get in trouble just they want them to get there quick.

Blake Test I admire the quick response time, but bear in mind the call was to a house that had Molotov cocktails thrown at it. I bet no firefighter wants to charge into a call like that before PD has it under control.

Im Video sieht es zumindestens so aus als würde das noch ein Wagen mit Schaltgetriebe sein, bei 1:03 macht der Fahrer die Handbewegung wie beim Schalten, und auch der Motor hört sich ned wirklich nach Automatik an. Is jz aber reine Vermutung

Ja er reist um die Welt und filmt solche Sachen. Schaut mal auf's Datum von den LA-Videos, steht immer "9.2010". Der Trick ist ganz einfach: Viele Videos da machen, sich schon im Vorfeld gut informieren und die dann über einen langen Zeitraum uploaden. Somit wirkt das ein bisschen wie als würde er ständig nur da und dort hin reisen.

No..they stopped pitting manual trans in models past like 95. The new engine are not manual..that engine rev you hear a few times is the engineer putting it in "pump"
