@@DaBoff858 lol, after my GMA retired, she worked at the one on Westerville Rd to have an excuse to not sit around all day. I think they must have closed in 98-99 because I believe that Tim Hortons came around 2000
I’ve only had it once in my life and I had it in Joliet, if I remember it’s not too far from that White Castle. My ex-wife is from Joliet so I was always there.
I'm a Midwesterner so not familiar with Rax. Arby's Roast Beef, Ponderosa and Sizzler are the franchises from my 60s (beef state) upbringing. My mouth is watering watching you eat. No fast food money; so gotta go cook! Thanks for sharing!
Rax has been a favorite for years! I used to go to the one on Refugee Rd and now when I crave roast beef, I drive to Circleville on US 23. Although there's an Arby's less than 5 minutes from my home, it doesn't compare to Rax and for me, it's worth the drive! I just came across your channel and I enjoy watching your content. 👏🏾👏🏾👏🏾 New sub! 😊
it look like one of them buildings from the mid 80s early 90s. I saw a commercial for that place but never ran into one in real life. Them fries looked good.
I grew up in Missouri we ate Rax all the time…I moved to indiana and ppl looked at me like I had antlers coming out my ears when I asked about it…they said we got Arby’s😂
Lol. They closed because the owners of Wendy's bought them out after they stole the baked potato idea. They tried to expand into salad and pizza bars that were actually very loved, however not profitable in food or labor costs.
First of all, I have never heard of this place. Personally, I love ARBY’S. Their BEEF-N-CHEDDAR is the bomb. I am quite sure that ARBY’S must be their biggest competition. This food looks edible enough. I like how the curly fries looked. The sandwich looked tempting. I would have given it a try. I love shakes, almost any kind too. I would have gotten a large chocolate shake. Overall, I wouldn’t have any problem giving JAX a try. I am the kind of person that loves to try new places and things. I would imagine that the last bit of locations that they have probably won’t make it too much longer. What truly went wrong with this place? Who really know? The employees at this place might want to look for other work. Peace.
Creamy & you can like taste the milk in it 😭😂😭… it’s a MILK SHAKEEEEEE Hey look everyones not a food reviewer or critic.. but we all can consume food lets just do that Leave the 1-10 reviews alone and just eat and show the food 😭😂 A milk shake is creamy and you can taste the milk 😭😂😭😂😭😭😂you got it
I hope you aren't serious. Tons of blak n other people have tried rax. Lancaster is a tweak town of trash. You shoulda filmed the signs saying that they pay daily for jobs. They opened late because their trap house had a line. The one in circleville is better. Their prices are still great amd better than Arbys in taste and price
Wow, this really was a blast from the past! I haven't had a Rax sandwich since the 80s. I thought they were extinct. Good find, Jackson!
My brother ✊🏾
WOW i remember RAX back in Columbus Ohio on Cleveland ave , in Northern Lights lol... used to be my favorite
👍🏾

Love your positive energy, keep up the great work🎉
I haven’t had Rax in forever! Didn’t know they still existed. The competition with Arby’s was real, then Rax jacked up their prices
OMG!!! I grew up on RAX!!! Didn’t know they were still around! Will catch it the next time I’m in Ohio. Thanks for this video- pure nostalgia!
Also, there used to be one in Northern Lights, Columbus, OH back in the day. It was great!
LEGENDARY.
Wow I’m in Joliet IL and drive by it almost daily for years. Have to try it.
Salute ✊🏾

@MPam1619 I noticed you mentioned Ponderosa. There's still 1 Ponderosa in Columbus, OH on South High St, if you're interested. 😊
We had them in Dayton Ohio in the 1980s
I had it once back in the day there was one on the corner of Livingston and Alum Creek. I threw it up at the light.
Haha, sheesh!
I used to eat at this location every time I was in Lancaster! It was always good.
Now, I want some.

I grew up in Missouri we ate Rax all the time…I moved to indiana and ppl looked at me like I had antlers coming out my ears when I asked about it…they said we got Arby’s😂
They used to have chocolate chip milk shakes. They were the best. On main and Hamilton in Columbus
Welcome back, Coop 😂
✊🏾🖤
✊🏾
Never seen one or the Kenny Rogers place. Rax looks like an old school Arby's with an old Wendy's dining room.
That $0.99 barbecue beef was the best as a 12 year old.
I never heard ir had Rax ,but we use to have Arby's on the west coast.
So basically the equivalent to an Arby's here in Colorado
OMG am i in 1989? Thats the last time i saw a Rax
Rax is Sonics adopted brother!!!
Roast Beef is no competition for burgers that’s why they closed down
But, Arby's is still going strong. 🤔
Lol. They closed because the owners of Wendy's bought them out after they stole the baked potato idea. They tried to expand into salad and pizza bars that were actually very loved, however not profitable in food or labor costs.
I always liked Rax more than Arby’s.
You have to use the horseradish to make the roast beef 🥩 to POP!!!
Wow…i haven’t seen a rax in decades 😅
unfortunately, I never got to try it
O shit!! Cockpit Coop!! Whatup !!!!
Cockpit Coop… you know me. Who is this? 👀
@COOPSCORNER hahaha! Livlive Ent.. t mobile sidekick days.. back when you were asking everyone "are you flyer than me?"
I had it once in Joliet, IL.

This is why they probably why they have closed.
So a worst version of Arbys
Rax turned into Arby’s
Reminds me of the old Wendy's
Rax reminds me of Arby's i think they lost to them

Yep we ate it a lot in the 1980s
Looks like an overpriced Arby's
👀
@COOPSCORNER 😭
Do you usually lie? Why? Five times you did us the kindness of not lying to us, and you even told us when you weren’t
Lancaster has the worst food in central ohio. Idk why.
😂😂😂😂
Do black person tries Popeyes. i heard y'all love chicken
