I've watched about two dozen foreigner-gets-a-tailored-suit-in-Bangkok videos, and this is by far, the best one. The editing, the film quality, the communication between you and the worker, etc. He's also a well-dressed salesman, so I'm more inclined to trust him.

Lowkey might try ordering online from them. I have measurements from indochino, so even if it is a little off in terms of sizing, I would just have it resized by my tailor. But $300-$400 for a hand stitched bespoke suit is insane.

Britisher pals, as a throwaway line we used to say it was cheaper to fly to Bangkok, get a couple of custom-made suits and half-a-dozen shirts made and fly back to UK, than have clothes made in UK. Keep in mind the difference in climate, so don't select a very light weight material if you are going to wear in a cooler climate. Face it, almost everywhere is cooler than Bangkok.

@@COOPSCORNER cheers for the reply.. material, yes, but I find that the lower priced ones have fused construction while the truly well made ones have a moving canvas. He does mention half canvas during the fitting, so thought I'd ask. Another good sign though, is that the jacket has functioning buttons

My son lives in Bangkok, Thailand.
I’m going to Pattaya beach for two weeks in September definitely gotta get a few suits made.
If memory serves me well there was a shop about Soi 6/1 and beach road in Pattaya. You won't have to go to Bangkok for a suit.

They are both good in different aspects. You can’t go wrong either way. Appreciate it! 👍🏾
people think they're getting a great deal when they go to these places, and you're saving a bit on labour costs, but the second you actually want a high quality fabric, they can't avoid the costs that american stores have, american stores will get their fabrics from the best mills in italy, most of what these stores offer is polyester or poly blends, with fused canvas, to get a suit hand stitched in two days... not happening...
My suits are still 100% in tact and always get compliments. ✨

Wtf 3-4 Days for a custom suit 😳. I just got fitted for new suits here in America . They cost me $1400 each and it’s been 4 weeks and they still haven’t came in yet 🙄

These aren't bespoke. These are made to measure. Their "silk blend" is polyester. Are these fused or half canvas?

I used to be like you, but you have to make tailored to your body size, not just any suit of the clothes rack, but it takes sometimes to get used too...
