Recently went to my first My Chemical Romance concert and I’ve been waiting for this experience for 17 years. Childhood me was so healed. I cried like 3 times! Middle school me was the person who attended that concert and she was so happy. Haven’t been that happy in awhile. It was amazing.
Madeline, my husband is over 400 pounds and I am madly in love with him. No matter what anyone looks like they can have love. You got this!
How much do you weigh?
My husband was fired once in his life and it didn’t make sense and they wouldn’t tell him why. He was tearing himself up wondering what he did. Excellent skills, on time and everyone liked him. We found out later his boss’ son wanted one of his friends hired. A year later they went out of business. Boss probably wanted to fire the friend, but he’s such a coward, he’d probably rather close the business than talk to someone and let them go honestly. Confrontation phobia!
To the second caller. Go find a newcomer to help. And continue to say God Willing you know what that is it’s humility! Love from a dude with almost 7 years in NA!
So happy for your nearly 7 yrs sobriety! My son is active in addiction and seeing anyone doing the work makes my heart happy. 💛
He’s not a newcomer though. He said he’s fully attending meetings and will have 6 years next month.
Kyle, that’s awesome. You come from a place of strength that allows you to share you wisdom with strangers. No one knows better than you! I don’t know you but I’m proud of you. It’s a admirable feat. 🙏💕
I relate with the first caller so much I lost my mom to suicide at 4 and it was a big secret all my life it’s like she just disappeared and when my child turned 4 my anxiety spiraled!! Thankful for great counselors!
Kansas City Mo and Kansas City KS
are very different demographically. Economically The Kansas side struggles is some areas terribly and the gang shootings are so bad. When I worked at the tern shelter in Lawrence- Every single kid from the area had lost personal family members from the street violence. The trauma had bitten all of them. They need better opportunities shown to them. They do exist but pulling yourself up is one thing and digging yourself out of the deepest ditch is another.
Neither place is great…I lived off of Central near the truck stop back in 1995. It was a mess then.
She didn’t choose “nobody” or “nothing” over him, she chose herself and her own path over the idea of that man and that relationship and he needs to do the same thing. Maybe if they both do that, they’ll be able to find each other for real this time. Maybe they’ll discover they aren’t best for each other after all.
It’s worth it Seth - follow Dr John’s advice word for word. It’s gonna take time and boring days and that’s exactly what is needed right now. If you do ask God to help, God has never let me down when I’ve been humble and sincere about what I needed.

Boy can I relate to Madeleine… thankfully she has avoided any major trauma, so her lack of relationships is probably due to a lack of quality candidates. I mean I have only met two men who could even be potential candidates for marriage if it wasn’t for their age. The men in my age range seem to all be warped by porn… disqualifying them as a marriage partner’s. I honestly haven’t even met a single one in years now. It’s incredibly disturbing that this filth has literally excluded marriage as a possibility for so many women in my generation and clearly the ones following.

First call…it must be hard to raise children mostly by herself and only seeing her husband once a week. She definitely needs to have a serious conversation with her husband and work on their dynamics. I hope there’s no more than just work stuff.

I feel bad for Meghan's husband. Poor guy probably works close to 50 hours a week just to come home exhausted and missing his family. Then he probably has to deal with her being obsessively controlling. Of course it's not all her fault especially with past trauma, but man I feel bad for that guy.

A lot of times the best way is to fill the form out in the description and then Jenna will get in contact with you and set a time for you to be on the show but you can also leave a voicemail both ways work.
