Just a quick tip. When I am putting the stickers from DAC on my containers, I just peel back the long strip a bit and only cut the sticker part. It save time and I don't have to mess around with pulling off each individual sticker.
Its always good when I see a long video because then I know I have something to watch/listen to while diamond painting :) looking forward to the next video
Yeah, I have found that the "full to bursting" DAC bags easily fill two of those size bottles up to where the threading starts, so usually label up another bottle to split them. That's harder to do with the large number of colours you have with this painting, most of mine have been 35ish colours, so there's plenty of bottles left to split bags in a 60 bottle case. The case with the larger bottles with the opaque lids will take one of those full to bursting bags all in one, so I save that case for my DACs.
Love the colors in this painting! I love the silver topped bottles too but u can’t see the beautiful colors. Your voice is so soothing and calm. So enjoy your videos Rebecca 🥰
When I do diamond art club paintings, I cut the sticker sheet with my scissors. I cut just the sticker part (leaving the yellow backing) between the the dmc & the number. This leaves you a tab so you can do like with your sticker maker.
Yes exactly as Marylene says. I peel the sticky back off a few and then cut the numbers off. That is much easier. I say, whatever works best for you. Thank you for your wonderful videos!!
I just found your channel tonight. Watching diamond painting videos while I diamond paint myself is my favorite pastime at the moment. Your voice is so pleasant to listen to! and I love your organization methods. Organizing my kits, and all my crafts in general, is about as much fun as doing the crafts themselves! LOL
I've started my first DAC painting recently and used the Elizabeth Ward system. I kept the 1-51 numbers on the stickers but placed it so that they were on the side and only the symbol/dmc number was viable on the top. I've been able to re-arrange into letter/number order, but it should (hopefully) be easy to put back the right way when I come to de-kit without having to deal with the dmcs (it would take me so much longer to rearrange numbers in the 100s or 1000s).
I start peeling the sticker back just slightly more than the number and then cut off the sticker with the number I need. Then peel the backing some more, cut number, peel back, cut number, and so on. Basically the backing never is cut thus making it easier to separate each sticker. Goo Gone the scissors. I hope this make sense.
Those 2 that are the same symbol are hard to distinguish on the canvas. I use the colors around that one to help me figure out which one it's suppose to be.
Hi I really enjoyed this kit up, for me I just number my pots 1 to whatever and go numerically, I find it sooo much easier to do that way, and when I fill one of my pots with those full to bursting bags I use my tictac storage containers for the extra beads and store any extra bags in my green zip up bag in my storage unit and number it with a smaller round label with the corresponding number to my pot i just filled. Makes it much more cohesive for me
1 bag of DAC diamonds (the really full packets) fit great in a silver bottle in their entirety. If you use DAC again, I highly recommend that case for their diamonds for that reason.
I also love my 60 bottles case. I got a 122 bottle case which has got the tiny bottles, which I’m currently testing out, so I’ve split between 2 paintings. I love my 28 boxes for paintings I used to take when I was allowed to visit family.
I loved seeing the storage slowly get more colorful. This is a huge painting, but a fun one. I just bought Pride, it’s a bit smaller, but very colorful too.
I am new to diamond mound painting..I have watched a lot of videos .. trying to learn..I am so thankful I found you..I have so much enjoy watching and learning from you..please keep the videos coming.
I did the same thing with regards to the stickers for my first DAC - learnt the hard way how long-winded it made the whole kitting up process. Definitely going try a different technique that other followers have recommended in the comments of this video. Thanks for an amazing video!
Opinion. If you peel the backing back and cut what you need, using a finger to stick it to, leaving the backing whole.... maybe that will be quicker than peeling each tiny bit!!??. I absolutely love this DP. Can't wait!
I enjoy my sticker maker, but have a DAC that I'm getting ready to work on. I cut off a thin strip of the yellow backing before cutting each one individually. Thank you for your videos!
I prefer my sticker maker, too. I can cut the sticker paper, but have the excess backing to hold onto. Perhaps, keep the 1-51 attached and scissor it off. Then cut the symbols through, but not all the way through the excess backing. Hmmm. I will try that next time.
You did those stickers in record time lol. Took me forever on my first DAC dp! But now I do as previously described by others, so much quicker. I always use the Elizabeth Ward containers for DAC dps starting from the largest size bags to the smallest. Apart from the black on Mandie Manzano's dps I generally never have to fill extra baggies.
just a very small tip, if you cover what you write with a sharpie with a piece of clear tape it won't smear on your fingers and comes off easily with the tape, regardless of what it's on that's non-porous, that is HTHs!
@@addmorezest Wonderful! We travel full-time in an RV and I have a small table to work on too. I have enjoyed seeing other people’s workspaces and ideas!
If you finish this DAC and want to do another one that is Mandie Manzano with a lot of ABs, try The Sleeping Beauty. It is 42x125cm, square drill, and 51 colors. I got 3 large bags packed with 130, it is everywhere on the canvas.
(Aka suzzi suns on fb) watching several of your videos I took the jump and ordered a 60 pot case from Amazon and a 30 pot case from aliexpess, both were really good deals and come with extra diamond painting goodies, they look much easier to use when I go up to our family house to help my dad rather then taking the Elizabeth ward case .. thank you so much for your tips 😊
There is a way to deal with the stickers,I have seen a video on fb,can't find it so I will try to explain. If you leave a bit more of the sticker paper on one side of the colour strip, peel that side and cut the sticky up to the number, leave the yellow backing uncut. That way on one side your yellow backing will be wider than the sticker strip itself. Then you can cut between the colours, cutting only through the sticky, still leaving the extra yellow backing. Then you have something to hold on and easy peel the separate numbers. That way the strip also holds together. Hope it makes sense and will help someone xx
Oh no! Don’t cut the 1-51 off! If you trim it with the 1-51 attached to the symbol and DMC, you can peel back the sticker paper (keep the symbol and DMC sticker backing on), then cut off the numbers. This way you have some of the sticker backing together and you can cut between the numbers and peel off the stickers easier and not have the bitty trash pieces.
i forgot that the slash symbol will be hard to realize because it is in what is called a training wheel. I thought I had lost them or they weren't sent.....lol....and you have 2!!
Hi Rebecca, been watching you for a while now.. congrats on your 10k milestone. When it comes to put on sticker, i usually cut the sticker with cutter slightly, you know like when you cut the plastic cover on your canvas without cutting the canvas. That way, for me, it is easier to peel the sticker because you still have something to grip on. I hope you get what i mean 😅
I had to do the same I couldn’t get 1pkt in my Elizabeth warden storage I had to lapel baggies with the spares into my large pencil case I was really disappointed that they put the kit up in price I am not paying 75 pound for it plus the tax you got to pay now too I keep a eye out and see if it goes down in price
I just purchased this storage kit I ordered 4 of them I would like to know the names of the zippers bags that you use that you put your extra diamonds in after you putting them in the little storage baggies and what baggies are they that you can write on love your video’s just now starting my first diamond painting today 😊
It was made by Making Memories that aren't trading any more unfortunately. I've been trying to find another the same for years. I 'lost' this one for 6 months once and missed it so much.
i really need help in prepping i am doing painting one is on my walker its a large painting i have to move from one end of the painting to the other end my walker is to small for the painting my walker handles are the problem the other area i do my other one i have a card table that isnt very stable the legs keep on collapseing sending every thing on the floor i like your drill holder case
What do you do with the leftover drills if it´s only a few diamonds left after a project is done (under ten or so)? Do you throw them away or put them in a bag with other leftovers with the right DMC - number or colour? I am asking because I am not sure if it´s worth it to save just ten diamonds for example, if they are the only one in that DMC- number in my spares. I am saving the one with lots of diamonds in it. When I watching your breakdown videos, you have a lots of diamonds left after a project. I have never seen that you puts any diamonds away. Whats your thoughts about this?
I'd save them if less than 10. I have a bag ready for each colour and if/when I've ran out, it's never many that I need to finish. Those 10 might be all that's needed.
Some have them some don't, but if they have them, you usually have a number 1-30 for example in large, then on the first line of other numbers will be the DMC number. If you have some black in your painting, look for the number 310 to help locate.
She had “Mama Knows Best” by Mandie Manzano and there were issues with the square drills. DAC came out with the issues later, but it was frustrating for Rebecca. Personally, I have not had issues, but I only started diamond painting in July.
Congratulations to Ruth Taylor for winning Giveaway #2

Anyway, i always wanted to tell you that your voice always somehow makes me feel that every problem can be solved, so calm and organized. Love it
Hi, for the stickers on the pots : don’t cut each one at a time. Peel of the sticker a bit first and then cut the sticker it’s much easier.
So happy to have this long video to play while diamond painting today. Yeah!
