This KEXP presenter managed to bring out a more unguarded and joyful Scott than anyone else in an interview that I can recall. This is the Scott I want to remember dearly going forward.

No I understand where you are coming from. But in his defence he's an artist and he's free to create music that he sees fit. He doesn't necessarily have to make music that's a huge departure just because people expect him to or because that is the norm for a solo project. He can make whatever kind of music he chooses to. But that's my opinion on the matter.
