  • In this episode, I am visiting several villages in The Gambia with Jalamang, a local. But to get there, we have to cross the river Gambia. I have done many river crossings with my motorcycle, but it's just getting a bit ridiculous now. This is starting to look like a re-enactment of Titanic. Jack, I can fly!

The best part of the episode for me was spending time with the people of the island, taking part in their food prep practices, and sharing a little of your time and info about them. No electricity No problem. Back to basics. Makes one think. Very good episode.

West African cuisine is awesome. And crossing the river Gambia is so beautiful. I did it at sunset and it was awesome.
The construction with the truck spraying the dirt has been going on for almost a year now. It'll be awesome when it'll be done, for now, what a mess. 😀
