Best horse hay feeder ever. Durable construction and horse proof-no accidents. We added the roof hay stays dry.

I bought one of these feeders at the beginning of winter.. I love it and the horses love it. There is hardly any hay waste. I would highly recomend this feeder. Deb in Pa

Horses have no problem reaching the center of the feeder, it's only about 3 feet from either side.

Hi, I am interested in keeping a horse or perhaps 2 and know nothing about it. I do own a strip of fenced land 102 ft x 22 ft and it is covered in dirt / gravel (no grass). Would this area of land be enough for one or two horses / ponies and what would you recommend I do eg lay grass / drainage of some sort. Advice greatly appreciated. Thanks. June

Can you pleeeeezzzz invent something to kill ticks? We are infested on our property. Dog ticks, deer ticks, and lone star ticks! I put a feather in my pocket and didn’t know there were tiny deer ticks on it. I counted 107 bites!

Why is the dangerous feeder still in the pasture?

Been there for 13 years now, still working great and saving hay. Funny how we've sold thousands of these all over the country and not heard of any "danger" stories. Thanks for stopping by.

Why don't you state your name and tell your story?

I think he was talking about the dangerous old ring style feeder the landowner pointed to that was still in the pasture.

They are a good design i have seen them used the only issue i see is this is an "8 horse" feeder. You will never ever have 8 horses eating from this at a time. Its not possible. At most you can have 2 horses on either side. The ends might as well be solid because they are wasted space.

Hi Grant, thanks for commenting. Nowhere do we imply that 8 horses will feed at once, H-8 is simply the model number. This feeder will service 8 horses, that's about the max, but not all at once.

I open the ends to let the horses finish out the bale they can’t reach.
