I really appreciate Stephen speaking with me about their new hoppers. I did kind of put him on the spot with my interview request. He was very gracious in sharing his time with me. No statements made should be considered a guarantee.
Stephen Priest of Class One Model Works was on hand during the Railroad Hobby Show in Springfield, MA to talk about their new HO scale ARI 5200 covered hopper. These cars are sharp! They will have a die cast metal underframe, and tons of accurate add-on detail parts.
The samples looked great and felt very durable, even with all of the details. I'm thinking that some of those UP & CMO hoppers would look good on my layout!

Really nice hoppers and the cast bottom is perfect for the weight. Thanks for taking us along and asking the right questions.
