@@jasony724now why would they do that. That’s too easy! 🤣 that’s ok I’ve spent the last week in Home Depot and I’ve forced myself to learn everything on my own. Now I have a sense of pride I can’t buy with money. All thanks to this video not linking examples of the products. lol
the hardest part of doing this is finding the parts at home depot or lowes! wish they'd be better organized so i can find the t fitting shown in option 1
3/8-in x 3/8-in x 3/8-in dia Compression Tee Adapter Fitting Item #: 877187 |Model #: AV-666NLB at Lowes Do order pickup, have them pick the item for you. Its a pain to find it on the shelves next to all the other similar looking fittings. Lowes order pickup is the best.
Is it code compliant to use option 1 to change a single bathroom vanity into a double sink? I ask because it would not have a hot/cold shutoff for each sink but just 1 to combine for both.
Generally no, these are compression fittings with a washer inside that makes the seal. Some plumbers put tape on the bottom threads only for a little extra safety margin, but any tape near the threaded end could interfere with the sealing and cause a leak.
A bit confusing because at the 0:50-1:10 you’re advising to hand tighten connector hose and then 1/4 turn more with wrench but towards the end (3:00), you’re advising to tighten 1 and 1/2 turn with wrench for the same type of connector hose.
I want to use a bathroom sink supply line to feed my washer supply lines. Any concerns with this? I am worried about water pressure/having enough hot water if both are in use at the same time. Same with feeding a kitchen sink supply from a shower supply line. Thoughts or suggestions?
No it’s not recommended it’s is best to put a tee in the actual pipe inside the wall. That’s if it is 3/4 inch pipe. If you add a shower to a 1/2 line that’s already hooked to a tub you would not have adequate pressure or volume to your shower. This is coming from a plumber with nine years experience. I would recommend calling a professional that way you know it’s done correctly and most companies have at least a one year warranty. If you have any questions for me please feel free to ask. God bless
Im in the same boat. 8m trying to find out if i can use 2 tee adapters on the same pipe ir if they make one for several appliances. Did you have any luck finding outif you can do more than one?
For those wondering:
Part number for 3/8-in x 3/8-in x 3/8-in dia Compression Tee Adapter Fitting at Lowe's
Item #: 877187
Model #: AV-666NLB
It would be very helpful if you give or put the part numbers of both fittings. To simplify the process in ordering or getting part.
Wish y’all had linked to these products in description. Great video though.
That would make too much sense

What are the part numbers of the components in this video?
Would have been helpful if you supplied links to parts
Can a water supply have more than two outlets? I havent found anything online...I might be using the wrong terms.
I need to connect a dishwasher and fridge. Is there a 4 way valve?
Why would you do that? Hot is for dishwasher and cold is for refrigerator water and ice dispenser.
Can I use this method if I want to add a double sink to my master bathroom?
Ditto!!
I hope so. That's what we want to do.
Yes but dont do it yourself. You will end up filling your room with water very soon.
@@BomJimmy Stupid comment. People are so scared to get their hands dirty these days.
@@hyacinthdibley2420 did you use option one or two for your double sink?
Does anyone have another video recommendation for the rest of adding a pot filler to this?
Great video though!

Ashley did you ever figure this out? Did option one work for you?
Do you need teflon tape for the first shown supply tee?

You are correct, if it helps while the audio says 1.5, the 3:00 video shows 1/4 turn.
