Here's Part 2 update of my "Fallout Vault-Tec" Gaming PC build and PC case mod project. Thank you for watching every stage of this PC Mod unfold here on UA-cam. I'm Bill Owen, I've owned Mnpctech since 2001. This PC case mod is one from my bucket list of PC Mods! I'm using the Corsair 400R mid tower case I designed for them in 2009. The job paid $29K. In 2010, they asked me to mod the Corsair 400R for CES in Las Vegas. In this update video of my "Fallout Vault-Tec" theme Gaming PC build, we see two "Hardware Drops" that reveal my favorite choice of data storage by CRUCIAL MEMORY and EVGA FTW RTX 3090 TI gpu. You can find these RTX 3090 gpu's currently on the market priced from $900 NIB on Ebay to $1699 on various retail PC hardware online stores.

I've wanted to do an art deco radio HTPC scratch build, a wooden barrel back boat build, and that's probably about it for "dreams". A bunch have sailed when they got really popular like desk PCs... wanted to build one back in college, circa 2008, but then we all know what happened in that space, so that one lost its luster lol
I have so many builds I want to do, but I'm not really sure if I have too many "dream" builds at this point... It's mostly ideas of things I want to try, moreso than themes.

Always loved the idea of a Portal Theme!
I really miss the old golden days of the PC area, when DFI and Abit were around, case-mods were done with a hacksaw and glued on plexiglass and lighting done with cold cathodes.
I am sure Bill remember the magic feeling you would get, back when everything were so new and magical. Do we ever feel the same about the idea of a lan party now, as we did back then?

I have two themed PC mods I am dying to build. The first is The Last Of Us and the second is Horizon Zero Dawn/Forbidden West.
I think I could dress up a computer to look like the inside of a dilapidated, abandoned building. I could use some foam or modelling clay and make cordyceps growths on or in corners of the case with a face and arm sticking out. It would look just like the ones you see in the game where a person has died and the fungus has bloomed all over their dead body. Add in some green stuff as if moss and mould are growing everywhere. The Last of Us would be a great PC mod.
Then for Horizon, I'd dress it up like the inside of a cauldron. I'd make some tubes and mechanical parts and pistons and moving platforms all inside the case using servos and solenoids. Maybe add some organic stuff like vines to give it that overgrown look. I'd make the front panel look like the face of one of the robot dinosaurs.
I have big dreams and ideas and no money.
A Mad Max Fury Road theme would be great!
TMNT Retro theme is what I want to do!
a country like rhinestone cowboy themed build would be cool
The simple cases give you more flexibility to mod.
The cases today are all tempered glass and very little metal frame. While they look great, they are more challenging to mod. IMO
would love a cyberpunk PC. like the one on LTT x Nerdforge. that one looks awesome. can^t wait for your fallout mod. love de dixi clock. what will it show ? CPU temps ?

A Tacoma PC, the game is not that great, but the theme can be squeezed a lot: space tech, holograms, an AI control panel / HUB, a lot of glass panels.
