Hello Piet. Best explanation ever about how manure is separated to solids from liquids. I watch several different dairy operations and your system is very different and a lot more complicated than most others but your description was very clear. Thanks for sharing from Cape Cod
Hi Piet. It is interesting to see how different farms I follow deal with the processes of farm systems. Yours, by far, is the most interesting and intricate. Oh, and the biggest of the farms I follow as well. And I think the concrete pour went very well, yes? Getting all the lose ends tied before snow begins to dump is a good thing right? Here in Montreal our temps are bouncing as high as 53f down to 21f this week. We have a chance of snow this coming weekend. Hope all is well out there.
Just some friendly advice, next time lay 4x8 sheets of plywood down for a "roadway" over your rebar and tubing so that you can drive the power buggy on that to where you dump. One guy can move the sheets as needed, as you pour. It will save the guys backs that are raking, and speed up your pour. I've poured thousands of yards this way and have not had one problem with the heat lines, etc.
What an impressive installation you have there. If I understand correctly, you have made many adjustments to it yourself and the machine in this setup is not for sale?
Hey again super awesome video Ummm this might be not the best /appropriate question A financial video of the operation cost And income side I know money questions might not be something you’d want to share Anyways love your videos !! And my only other question, do you guys use the nutrition part of the CowManager tags Or just the health and fertility If yes what’s its benefit
Thank you! Our finances is not something I'm planning to share on here. Our nutritionist uses the nutrition part to follow the herds eating and Rumination. The nutrition part is probably what I look at the most myself, following ration changes, weather changes, fresh cow Rumination and eating, on a group level vs individual. The health and fertility is what our herd guys are looking at mainly.
I'm a 76 year old plumber and your system you exsplained, although not completely clear, was very fascinating to me. THANKS

Yes, the concrete pour went good! It's been really nice here the last week, highs in the 50's.

We were originally going to do that but decided not too since we had a lot of guys to help.
Hard work is good for the soul and body!😅
Nice achievement, little stages at a time .
Thanks for showing how the separator work. The Governor

Happy Thanksgiving to Your Family. 😊
Happy Thanksgiving!

New setups are likely a little different from our setup but the main concept is the same.
In November pouring cement cement, you have a lot of nerve. It's not freezing yet I ques. Living on the edge.👍
It's not ideal, but I'm glad we got it done!
Very impressive, thanks for the details
What is the function of the 2 wheels high on the cement truck? Can that part be lowered for one or the other reason?
Those are down during transport on the road so that they're not overweight.

Hello
Can’t you adjust the flow of the piston pumps?
Yes, we can adjust with a hydraulic valve on the pump itself and also with motor speed. We Make small adjustments with motor speed throughout the day.
